[New Episode] 50 Chinese Movies You Should Watch Before You Die | Video Essay
🕑 Added 2019-08-15 16:22:38 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I'm currently in San Francisco recharging my sanity meter.
This is one of two pre-recorded episodes I made for you. It's less analytical than our usual episodes, but I'm still proud of it. A bit of a different direction, I hope you'll enjoy.
And if you want more analytical stuff, don't worry. Watch to the end of the episode and you'll know what I mean.

Wong Kar-wai? Then you gotta talk about Chungking Express! Bring Tarantino in it as well ;)

DOMINATE the list? ๐ Now you're just being ridiculous.

I could definitely dominate the list with Wong Kar-wai's work. But this video isn't meant to be a top 50, but rather just 50 movies that's worth a watch. So a good variety is just as important.

Haha, I'm tagging onto the Internet fad like an old man. Next year I'll be talking about area 51.

Man, this was a hard video to watch. Ashes of Time and In the Mood for Love, but no Happy Together or Days of Being Wild? ๐ณ What about Angry Ranger? Escape From Brothel? I could develop a whole hour-long pitch on the genius of Her Vengeance alone!

Hey look! It's a list video! But seriously though, I really do appreciate the effort to compile something like this : )
