Update 79+80
🕑 Added 2025-09-19 17:37:23 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
vote for Update 80 was won by China+ (adding level 4) so it will be done for this update.
In Update 79 will be added Italy+ (adding level 7).
Italy+ - added missing teams/cities/stadiums
added missing cups to Promozione (some regions have super cups or winner's cups that were missing)
changes how regional cups in Eccellenza and Promozione work that in case that they would have less than minimal number of teams, they should take enough teams from lower division
added Prima Categoria (level 7) - each region have their own fixtures (for example in Trentino there is a break from December to February which is not other regions), added playoffs/playouts to leagues (at least to those that have them), added deduction of points for teams
added Prima Categoria regional cups, I tried to replicate them as close as possible to the real ones (format, number of teams) but in some cases I had to change it little bit because of editor limitations
added Juniores Regionali U19, which are youth leagues for teams from Eccellenza/Promozione, it has 20 regional leagues with their own number of teams/formats, winner of each regional league play National stage for the title of the national champion, in some cases even temas from Prima Categoria can get a team in this competition (if in that region is not enough teams in those two leagues)
added regional U19 cups (there are only in some regions, not in all of them)
some changes in whole youth pyramid and how it works:
Serie A/B/C teams - Primavera 1-4 (U20 teams) + Italian U20 Primavera Cup/Super Cup
Serie D teams - Juniores Nazionali U19 (played with U20 teams)
Eccellenza/Promozione teams - Juniores Regionali U19 (played with U20 teams) + in some regions Regional Cup
Serie A/B/C teams - U18 Division 1/2reworked Italian Youth Club Invitational
This week is continutation of working on Italy, right now Prima Categoria is playable in game with all regional cups (except Trentino and Alto Adige cups which are little bit complicated so it will be made as last thing), all leagues playoffs/playouts with the rules where if teams are certain points apart that there doesn't have to be playoff/playout. I tried to have close as possible the promotion playoffs formats as the real one but in case of Lazio and Piemonte I had to change a little bit more so I had the number of promoted teams I needed, rest is kind of same or similiar to reality.
In case of regional Prima Categoria cups I tried to have same number of teams and formats, in 3 regions I had to little bit change it because of limitations of editor (max 26 groups for league and some cups had 44 groups),
Big changes are in youth system, where is newly added Juniores Regionali U19 where each region (20 regions in total) have their own league (Leagues usually have 2-8 groups) with their own formats and fixtures, winner of each regional league go to National finals where winner is the national champion of this level. Each league has different number of teams but all teams from Eccellenza have team here and mostly all teams from Promozione, in some regions might happen that even teams from Prima Categoria will get a playable youth team here. So right now through level 6 onward you should always have youth team in playable competition.
There will be added at least small history to each regional cups but that is gonna be last thing.
For Update 80 will be done China+ (adding level 4), I plan to create it from zero because the one that is out has some changes that I don't need and I have new vision how it should look, so there will be new basic version and plus version where will be added level 4 and reworked youth leagues, level 4 has regional leagues with big Champions League playoff for promotion to level 3. With China there will be updated Nepal, Uzbekistan and added level 4 (last level) to Macau+ with youth leagues, it's not that big and it will go well with China.
Voting for Update 81 will have Japan+ (adding/reworking prefectural cups), Morocco+ (adding level 4), Monaco (adding league + national team to official competitions) and Brazil+ (adding fantasy Serie E/F).
As always thank you for your support and I wish you nice weekend :)
