“Look over there! That’s the supernova ‘Sea Roar’ App!”
“And this year’s supernova ‘White Horse’ Cavendish is here too!”
“Gasp! That’s the Warlord ‘Empress’ Boa Hancock!”
As time passed, more and more powerful figures gathered on the island.
New and old supernovas…
Warlords!
Famous pirate legends of all kinds were steadily arriving on the island.
The atmosphere grew increasingly tense.
Every single one of these people was fiercely independent, unwilling to bow to anyone.
Naturally, friction was bound to happen. Small conflicts quickly escalated into full-blown fights.
“You bastard!”
“Think I’m an easy target, huh?!”
A burly man wielding spiked iron gauntlets clashed with a lean, sinister-eyed swordsman.
A crowd gathered, watching the spectacle unfold.
They cheered loudly, egging the fighters on, hoping for an even more brutal showdown.
But the fight ended abruptly.
“You filthy men dare disturb my rest? Unforgivable!!”
Boa Hancock, annoyed by the commotion, sent the burly man flying with a single kick, his body turning to stone and shattering.
“If you want to fight, take it outside the island! This isn’t your playground!”
The other fighter was stopped by Red Flag Drake, who tossed him out effortlessly.
Their overwhelming presence forced the rowdy crowd to rein in their behavior.
Neither Boa Hancock nor Drake were people these prideful pirates could afford to cross.
For a while after that, no more fights broke out.
Time passed…
Half an hour before the grand event was set to begin.
“Hey, hey, hey! Look over there! Isn’t that the ‘Fifth Emperor’ Straw Hat crew?!”
“No way, they actually showed up!”
“Hahaha, things are getting lively now!”
The arrival of the Straw Hat crew added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Everyone was curious…
Just how strong was the man they called the ‘Fifth Emperor’?
He’d managed to escape from Big Mom and even defeated Katakuri.
“Fifth Emperor?”
From the fourth floor of a nearby inn, Yoru looked down at the boy with a sunny smile sitting at the helm of his ship, letting out a soft chuckle. “That title’s still a bit too big for you, kid.”
The Thousand Sunny, carrying the Straw Hat crew, sailed in with the wind, cutting through the waves in a dazzling display.
[Attention, all competitors: The Grand Exposition is about to begin. Please sail your ships to the designated area and standby.]
“Well then, time to head out!”
Yoru left the inn, made his way to the dock, and boarded his ship, steering it toward the competition zone.
Compared to the massive, imposing ships of the other pirates, Yoru’s vessel looked… modest, to put it kindly.
It was plain to the point of being almost pitiful.
“Hahaha! Showing up to the Grand Exposition in that tiny junker? That’s hilarious!”
Sure enough, his ship drew immediate mockery from the crew of a sleek, crimson ship nearby, its polished surface gleaming in the sun.
That ship was twice the size of the Thousand Sunny.
It was luxurious, with a gilded tiger head at the bow and intricate gold trim along its sides.
Elegant. Noble.
Yoru glanced at the ship’s owner.
A man dressed in knightly attire, with long, curly golden hair. His expression was cold, a heavy sword strapped to his back.
When he noticed Yoru’s gaze, he let out a dismissive scoff.
“‘Great Sword Knight’ Gamanton, huh?”
Yoru’s lips curled into a smile as he mentally jotted down the name.
A guy with a 280 million bounty? Killing him wouldn’t be a big deal.
“What kind of nobody dares…”
At that moment, someone from another nearby ship opened their mouth to jeer, but their words were quickly muffled by a crewmate clamping a hand over their mouth.
Chapter 507: Wuhu Takes Off
The man’s face was filled with terror as he hissed a warning at the other guy. “You wanna die? I don’t! Shut up if you know what’s good for you!”
Meanwhile, aboard the Sunny…
Zoro and Sanji both glanced at the masked man—Yoru in disguise—and said in unison, their voices heavy, “There’s something off about that guy.”
At that moment…
A young man with a covered face, bare-chested and carrying a travel bag, sailed up next to Yoru on a similarly plain ship.
“Yo, looking forward to crushing it later!” he said.
Yoru glanced at the youth, his grin widening. “Interesting!”
And so, as they waited…
The Expo began!
“Hahaha! The Expo’s champion spot is mine!”
“Who can stand in my way?”
“Get lost! The rewards are mine!”
In an instant…
Hundreds of ships surged forward, all pulled toward the massive whirlpool at the island’s center.
It was a breathtaking sight, unfolding before everyone’s eyes.
“Pirate King Roger once said: In a solitary, dark place, our answers are buried, and a priceless treasure awaits!”
“Come, challengers! This is the Pirate King Roger’s challenge! Solve the riddle and claim the treasure!”
From the stands…
The host’s passionate commentary fired up the crowd.
People from all corners of the world had gathered to witness this one-of-a-kind battle extravaganza.
“Heh, this is gonna be fun!”
Luffy pressed down his straw hat, grinning with excitement.
“They’re all so full of energy!”
Yoru tied back his long hair, his piercing gaze locking onto something in the distance, sharp and intimidating.
On the water…
The whirlpool suddenly roared with ferocious intensity, swallowing up the overly eager pirates—ships and all—in one gulp.
Then…
BOOM!
After devouring a handful of lucky—or unlucky—souls, the whirlpool transformed into a towering geyser, shooting straight into the sky.
Amid this jaw-dropping spectacle, a massive island was carried upward by the sea current.
This scene!
It left countless heroes and rogues in the audience utterly stunned.
“Heh heh, it’s finally here, huh?”
Yoru grinned, then leapt in a single bound onto the Straw Hats’ Sunny.
“?!!”
Sanji and Zoro instantly shot him sharp glares, while Nico Robin’s expression turned deadly serious.
Even Luffy turned to look, his face unusually focused.
“Hey, mind if I hitch a ride?”
Yoru leaned casually against the mast, smiling.
“Ohhh! Contestant Ichigo has just boarded the Straw Hats’ ship! This is incredible!”
The host, spotting the moment, shouted with excitement.
In an instant…
Yoru—under his alias ‘Ichigo’—became the center of attention.
This infuriated Cavendish, who was fuming that someone had stolen his spotlight again.
Unforgivable!
“Hey, hey, relax! I come in peace.”
Yoru raised his hands in mock surrender, acting like he wouldn’t cause any trouble.
“You’d better mean that.”
“Otherwise…”
Zoro unsheathed his sword, his chilling aura hitting like a wave, as menacing as a demon.
“Let’s do this! Franky, you ready?”
Luffy turned back, buzzing with excitement.
Franky nodded. “You bet! Sunny Go: Flying Penguin Mode!”
“Here we go—Wind… BLAST!!!”
With a muffled BANG, the Sunny shot into the sky.
While the other ships were still climbing the sea current, the Sunny soared ahead, leading the pack by a mile!
Chapter 508: The Arrival of the Four Emperors
"Look at that! The Straw Hat crew’s ship is taking the lead!"
"That’s incredible—flying straight into the sky! What amazing technology!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! The ships behind aren’t backing down—they’re catching up fast!"
A swarm of pirate ships trailed closely behind the Sunny Go, launching attacks as they chased.
The scene…
It was spectacular, yet dangerous!
"Pretty lively, huh?"
Yoru leaned against the mast, calmly watching the chaos unfold.
"Look over there! That ship’s spitting fire to move forward—it’s so fast! It just zoomed past everyone. That’s unreal!"
Suddenly!
The announcer shouted in excitement as a ship cloaked in flames tore through the obstacles, soaring into the sky.
It flashed past the Sunny Go, claiming the lead.
Bathed in light, the figure aboard was dazzling.
"That’s…"
The small ship naturally drew everyone’s attention.
And soon, a name popped into their minds.
‘Fire Fist’ Ace!
No one else could pull off such a flashy fire maneuver.
"Luffy, let’s see who’s better! The Pirate King’s throne isn’t yours yet!"
"The Pirate King’s treasure? I’m not handing it over!"
Sure enough!
The masked young man ripped off his disguise, revealing the polite yet bold and sunny Ace.
Wreathed in flames, he radiated a fierce aura, like a god of fire.
"Hahaha, Ace, let’s race then! I’m not losing to you this time!"
Straw Hat Luffy shouted with uncontainable excitement, his fighting spirit blazing brighter.
Boom!
The path cleared, and the horizon opened wide!
The fleet broke free from the rising currents, landing on an island that had been thrust upward.
"So, who’ll claim the treasure in the end? Let’s find out!"
The announcer, ever passionate, stoked the crowd’s adrenaline.
Crash!
The moment they touched down, a lush, breathtaking landscape greeted them.
At the edge of their vision, atop a high cliff, sat a battered ship—and a pile of scattered gold.
The pirates’ eyes lit up with greed.
No doubt about it…
The treasure was up on that cliff!
"Charge!"
"The treasure’s ours!"
"Grab the treasure!"
A frenzied mob of pirates surged forward!
The scene grew even more spectacular.
"The Eternal Pose… so close I can almost touch it."
Yoru glanced at the excited Straw Hat crew and said, "Thanks for the ride, but I won’t bother you any longer!"
With a leap…
A pair of blazing red wings erupted behind him, burning with unimaginable, terrifying flames. Like a storm sweeping through the heavens, they carried Yoru toward the distant cliff.
Boom!
The sheer force of his movement shattered the ground from afar, sending a wave of charging pirates flying.
Countless onlookers froze, eyes wide, staring at the figure speeding toward the cliff. They stood rooted to the spot, as if petrified.
At that moment…
A chilling dread washed over the pirates, their blood running cold.
The excitement and passion from moments ago vanished without a trace.
With such unmistakable traits, if they still couldn’t figure out who ‘Ichigo’ really was, they’d be fools!
"Wha—?!"
"One of the Four Emperors… the Lightning Killer… he’s here in person?!"
The announcer sounded like he’d been struck by lightning, his voice cracking with fear or sheer shock.
Chapter 509: The Yonko vs. the Alliance
His words sent the crowd into a frenzy. Faces filled with despair, as if the end of the world had come, people scrambled to flee.
A Yonko!
A Yonko was here, joining the battle for the treasure. If they didn’t escape now, they’d be as good as dead.
This place was about to turn into a slaughterhouse!
“Hahaha, even the Lightning Killer’s here? This just got way more interesting!”
Fire Fist Ace laughed loudly, transforming into his elemental form and shooting into the sky, chasing after Yoru, eager to test himself against him!
“Hey, hey, hey, isn’t this a bit too much?!”
The Supernovas were stunned.
Even a monster like Kidd couldn’t help but twitch.
A Yonko joining the treasure hunt? What chance did they have now?
“This is such a waste of time!”
Hawkins and Apoo felt like they’d come all this way for nothing, losing big time.
When the Beasts Pirates fell, they’d barely escaped with their lives, thinking this expo would be their chance to snag the treasure and stage a comeback.
But now?
Someone had swooped in and stolen their shot!
And the worst part? They couldn’t even fight the guy who did it!
“You’re a bit slow, Fire Fist Ace!”
Yoru glanced back at Ace trailing behind him, grinning as his wings flared wildly, flames bursting around him.
In an instant, his speed surged, leaving Ace in the dust.
Ace gritted his teeth, frustrated but helpless.
Sometimes, you just have to admit someone’s better.
“But I’m not letting you grab that treasure so easily!”
“With all these heroes here, you really think you can take us all on?”
Ace, itching with defiance, decided to rally the Supernovas and other heroes on the scene to take on Yoru together.
No matter how strong Yoru was, they’d overwhelm him with sheer numbers.
“Luffy, let’s team up!”
He shouted down to Luffy, who didn’t even hesitate before nodding in agreement.
“Count us in too!”
Eustass Kidd jumped into the mix, and with a glance, Hawkins, Apoo, and the other Supernovas formed a united front.
A Yonko? So what!
Others might be scared, but not the Supernovas!
Taking down a Yonko was their ultimate goal.
And now, the perfect chance was right in front of them.
Over with Yoru…
He folded his wings and landed, grabbing an old wooden box from the pile of gold.
Opening it, he found a beautifully crafted Eternal Pose lying inside.
“Heh, mission accomplished!”
Pocketing the Eternal Pose, Yoru looked down at the united Supernova army below and Fire Fist Ace streaking toward him like a meteor from the sky.
His face lit up with excitement, his eyes gleaming with fiery intensity.
“Perfect, I’ve been itching for a real fight. Let’s have some fun today!”
He leaped into the air, his fiery wings flapping wildly as he soared into the sky.
A ferocious aura erupted from him, shaking the air and blurring the scenery around him.
“Phoenix Fire Feathers!”
In an instant…
The sky turned crimson, like a sign of the apocalypse. A torrent of blazing meteor-like flames rained down!
Each meteor was a brilliant fire feather, packed with devastating power.
One man’s strength, rivaling a natural disaster, left the heroes below pale with shock.
“Fire Fist!”
Ace struck first. After two years of growth, his strength now rivaled Marco’s—or even surpassed it.
He was the strongest under the Yonko.
Chapter 510: Who Are You Looking Down On?
Scorching flames erupted, their overwhelming power sweeping in all directions, forming a massive fist that shot toward the sky.
It was as if it aimed to burn everything in its path, the fiery plumes charging straight at Yoru high above.
Facing this blazing, ferocious punch, Yoru swung his arm in a sharp slash, a surge of raw, unyielding energy tearing through Fire Fist Ace’s attack.
And it didn’t stop there!
The force continued, unrelenting, barreling toward Ace.
“Hiss!”
Ace’s hair stood on end, his pupils shrinking as he instinctively transformed into flames, scattering to dodge the strike.
Elsewhere, a barrage of meteor-like fire plumes rained down indiscriminately.
Each fiery feather carried explosive force, detonating on impact and forcing the supernovas, including the Straw Hats, to retreat frantically.
But dodging wasn’t enough—some were hit and sent flying by the blasts.
The explosions were too widespread, blanketing the entire island!
There was nowhere to hide!
“Three Sword Style: Black Rope Tornado!”
Pirate Hunter Zoro unleashed a massive wave of wind, detonating the incoming attacks in midair.
But the terrifying shockwave from the explosions still pushed Zoro back, straining to hold his ground.
It was like a storm battering him, strong enough to shatter anyone caught in it.
“Ba-ba-ba, boom!”
Soundwave App used his unique ability to detonate sound itself, blasting the fire plumes apart.
“Fire!”
Capone Bege launched a barrage of cannonballs from his body, setting off the fire plumes in the air.
They didn’t dare let those plumes get close.
The power was insane!
Each one that hit the ground left a crater a meter wide and half a meter deep.
Absolutely terrifying!
“Damn it!”
But for Kidd, Straw Hat Luffy, Urki, Jewelry Bonney, and Drake—those without long-range attacks—facing this sky full of explosions was a nightmare.
They scrambled for cover, trying to avoid the relentless bombardment.
Even with their Armament Haki, they couldn’t withstand such a dense barrage of explosions!
BOOM!
At that moment, a crimson figure crashed into the ground with a deafening thud, the impact like a thunderclap, sending shockwaves that flung nearby pirates off their feet.
Amid the flying debris, a battered figure stood up.
It was Fire Fist Ace!
He wiped the blood from his mouth, glaring up at Yoru, who hovered in the sky like a sun god, radiating overwhelming pressure.
The onlookers watching this scene were utterly stunned.
Yoru, alone, was dominating a crowd of legendary figures.
Every person present was a renowned powerhouse.
The eleven supernovas, each with bounties of two to three hundred million, some even four or five hundred million!
And then there was Fire Fist Ace and Straw Hat Luffy, both with bounties exceeding a billion.
Such a terrifying lineup, and yet Yoru was suppressing them all single-handedly.
This gave the audience a stark reminder of just how powerful the Four Emperors truly were.
“What, is this all you’ve got? And you think you can compete with me for the treasure?”
Yoru grinned, his tone dripping with mockery and arrogance.
“Damn it, who are you looking down on?!”
“No wonder he’s an Emperor—so cocky!”
“We’re gonna take you down!”
Kidd, Fire Fist Ace, Straw Hat Luffy, and the others bared their teeth, their fighting spirit blazing.
Today…
Right here…
They were going to slay an Emperor!
“No more holding back! Bring out your full strength—this guy’s one of the Four Emperors!”
Fire Fist Ace was the first to shift gears, his body fully elementalizing, transforming into a flame deity, his form flickering and ethereal.
