Nighttime at Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies.
It was already dinner time, and the long tables in the dining hall were filled with only the soft clinking of silverware. Not a single person dared to speak.
After the incident that morning, all the young witches were on edge, terrified of angering Fiona and then being dragged off to vent her frustrations on them, just like poor Carrie.
Carrie really was quite innocent. She hadn't done anything wrong and was just spaced out when Fiona, in a bad mood, dragged her off to the isolation room.
Thankfully, Fiona seemed to be in a better mood during dinner and even had the inclination to chat with Myrtle Snow across the table.
"Snow, could we talk after dinner?"
Myrtle looked at Fiona with some surprise. She couldn't figure out why her old nemesis would suddenly be all smiles with her. Her gut feeling told her it couldn't be anything good.
"I have nothing to talk to you about."
Cordelia, sitting nearby, frowned slightly as she watched Fiona and Myrtle's exchange.
Actually, Cordelia had wanted to ask her mother why she was looking for Myrtle that morning, but she hadn't expected Fiona to speak to Myrtle herself during dinner.
Judging by her attitude, it seemed Fiona might even need something from Myrtle.
Cordelia really hoped her mother Fiona and Myrtle could reconcile because she had a genuinely good relationship with Myrtle.
During her student years, Myrtle, as a teacher, had in some way made up for the lack of maternal love Cordelia had experienced. However, she was also worried that her overbearing mother would clash with Myrtle again, a feeling that was quite distressing.
Fiona put on a kind smile and didn't get angry at Myrtle's attitude.
"I have a bottle of 1775 Massandra sherry here. Would you be interested in trying some?"
The 1775 Massandra sherry was the oldest sherry in the world, with a bottle worth tens of thousands of dollars and practically impossible to find.
Myrtle herself was very fond of sherry, and the 1775 Massandra sherry was an irresistible temptation for her.
"Do you really have that kind of wine?"
"Yes, you should be able to tell if I'm telling the truth."
Fiona smiled happily. She could feel that Myrtle was already hooked.
Myrtle's witch talent was the ability to discern whether others were telling the truth, essentially making her a human lie detector. She could tell that Fiona wasn't lying; the other woman did indeed have a bottle of 1775 Massandra sherry.
Licking her lips, Myrtle decided to give Fiona a chance.
"Alright, I can give you a few minutes after dinner."
"Don't worry, I won't take up too much of your time."
Seeing that Fiona and Myrtle hadn't started arguing, Cordelia couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
Soon, everyone finished dinner and dispersed. Only Cordelia and Emma, who ate a bit slower, remained at the long table.
Then, Cordelia suddenly waved Emma over.
"Emma, come here."
"Ms. Foxx, is something wrong?"
Emma had initially been very angry about Cordelia kidnapping her, but after spending the past few days together, she felt that the headmistress was actually a pretty good person.
"Emma, there's still some food left in the kitchen. Could you take some to the basement later and give it to Madison and the others? Don't let the Supreme Witch see you, understand?"
Cordelia handed Emma a key. It must be the key to the basement.
"Okay!"
Emma accepted the task.
In the basement, the newly formed witch group, the Apocalypse Coven, didn't have the same energy as they did in the morning.
Well, the extremely edgy name "Apocalypse Coven" was Carrie's idea. All four young witches were going through their rebellious phase, so they agreed to the name for their little group.
However, after happily chatting during the day, the four young witches were ultimately too tired to talk after dark. They were all thirsty and hungry, and no one had the energy for conversation anymore.
After all, they were just girls who had grown up with good living conditions. None of them had ever experienced the feeling of going hungry.
Especially Madison, whose rebellious spirit was almost starved out of her.
"I'm so hungry. Why didn't I feel this hungry when I was dieting before?"
Madison leaned against the wall, groaning weakly. As an actress, she often had to diet to control her figure, but today she didn't know why she felt particularly hungry.
Zoe was also sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall, answering Madison weakly.
"Don't talk, the more we talk, the hungrier I get."
"But I'm too hungry."
At this moment, the four young witches heard the sound of the basement door being opened. They turned their heads and saw Emma walking in with a tray of food.
"Emma? Did you bring us food?"
Madison looked overjoyed and immediately hugged Emma, wanting to kiss her cheek.
"Shhh! Quiet! Don't let anyone hear you!"
Emma wasn't sure if the other young witches knew about this. What if they reported her to Fiona? She might end up in isolation too.
Maria glanced at the tray Emma was carrying. There were some sandwiches and milk on it.
Although it wasn't a feast, it was enough to fill their stomachs.
However, Maria was more curious about where Emma got the key.
"Emma, where did you get the basement key?"
"Ms. Foxx was worried you guys would starve, so she gave me the key and asked me to sneak you some food. Hurry up and eat, I'm afraid someone will see me!"
Hearing this, Madison immediately picked up a sandwich and started eating. She had been starving for a long time.
As a result, she choked because she was eating too quickly and needed Zoe to feed her milk to swallow the sandwich.
Then, Maria and Carrie also came over to eat.
In just a few minutes of gobbling down the food, the snacks Emma brought were completely devoured by the four young witches.
"Phew, I feel like I've come back to life! Emma, thanks this time. I'll have your back at school from now on!"
With food in her stomach, Madison became a bit of a drama queen again.
Emma was just about to leave with the tray when she suddenly remembered the events of the morning and couldn't help but ask Maria.
"Maria, was the person who spanked you last night named Roy Black?"
Maria was stunned for a moment, then answered simultaneously with Madison and Zoe.
"How did you know?" Γ3
So that was it!
Emma bit her lip lightly, starting to think things over.
Initially, Emma really wanted to leave the witches' school as soon as possible, but after seeing the magical potion Cordelia had given her, she thought about learning some skills here before leaving.
At this moment, Zoe suddenly remembered something.
"Wait! Emma, aren't you also a Black?"
Zoe was in charge of looking after the unconscious Emma, and they exchanged names when they first met. It was only now that she realized it.
Emma nodded and then began to reveal the truth.
"Roy is actually my cousin. He came to Boston probably to find me."
Maria instantly understood.
"So that's it. That's why he showed up at that nightclub last night. He was probably deliberately trying to get close to us!"
This made Zoe, who was a bit of a romantic, somewhat unable to accept it. She had originally thought her encounter with Roy was all part of God's plan.
"Roy... was he deliberately trying to get close to us?"
Madison scoffed.
"Who cares if he was doing it on purpose? We all had fun anyway, so we didn't lose out! I'm more curious about what Roy does. Little Emma, can you tell me?"
As expected of a Hollywood child star, Madison was very open-minded in some ways.
After learning that Emma was Roy's cousin, Madison's attitude towards her became even friendlier.
Listening to Madison and the others' conversation, even Carrie, who hadn't said a word the whole time, became a little curious about the Roy Black they were talking about.
Emma hesitated for a moment but decided to reveal some information.
"Actually, my cousin Roy is still a senior in high school, and he's a boxer."
Madison's eyes lit up, and she couldn't help but lick her lips.
"So he's an athlete! No wonder he's in such good shape!"
This was a bit too direct, making Zoe and Maria look at Madison speechlessly.
"What are you looking at? If you're so capable, then don't go looking for Roy in the future!"
Hearing this, Zoe and Maria were unwilling.
"Dream on!"
"Don't even think about it!"
The three girls' attitudes made Carrie even more curious.
"Is that Roy Black you guys are talking about handsome?"
Madison fell into reminiscence, her big eyes shining brightly.
"It's not just about whether he's handsome or not. He's really that type, that really rare type... His eyes are so bright, and his sharp eyebrows and starry eyes are incredibly handsome... More importantly, his body is amazing, he's practically the perfect sex partner!"
Zoe agreed with this. The experience last night was unforgettable for her.
However, Madison's bluntness still made the other girls in the room blush a little. Maria directly scolded Madison without mincing words.
"Madison, tone it down a bit. There are still kids in the room!"
Madison quickly covered her mouth.
Emma gave a wry smile.
"Um, my cousin Roy already has several girlfriends. I know of at least two, and they're even good friends."
Zoe, Maria, and Carrie were a bit taken aback.
Madison didn't care. She had seen plenty of this kind of thing in Hollywood. Which big star wasn't promiscuous? Some even continued after getting married.
"Having many girlfriends just proves that Roy is charming and capable! I don't care anyway. If you guys give up like this, don't regret it later!"
Feeling Madison's gaze, Maria immediately became a bit competitive.
Zoe was indeed a bit hesitant. She was a more traditional girl, but Roy was able to resist her Black Widow physique. If she missed out on Roy, she might really end up alone for the rest of her life.
As for Carrie, she was purely just very curious about Roy.
After chatting for a while, Emma felt it was about time and left the basement with the tray.
As for the four girls who were locked in isolation, they continued to talk about boys.
Carrie had never been in a relationship at all, while Zoe and Maria had only had simple boyfriends. Madison was the most experienced, so she was mainly the one talking.
Madison vividly described the boys she had met to the three girls.
...
This content broadened the horizons of the other three girls. So there were people like that.
"There are actually boys like that?"
Zoe felt her worldview shattered and suddenly didn't want to be in a relationship anymore.
"That's why I like Roy so much. After seeing all those weaklings, Roy is simply a man among men!"
After uttering a series of outrageous remarks, the four girls were also a bit tired.
There wasn't even a mat in the warehouse, and the nights in Boston were a bit chilly. The four girls could only huddle together to keep warm and rest.
On the other side, Fiona was also greeting Myrtle with a beaming smile.
"Snow, you've finally arrived!"
Myrtle still didn't give the Supreme Witch a friendly look. She glanced around, as if looking for something.
"Goode, where's that 1775 Massandra sherry you mentioned?"
"It's right here!"
Fiona picked up an ice bucket from under the table. Inside was a bottle of antique wine.
Myrtle's eyes lit up when she saw the bottle.
"It really is 1775 Massandra! Goode, open it quickly!"
"No problem!"
Fiona took out two glasses, opened the bottle of 1775 Massandra, and poured a glass for herself and Myrtle.
Myrtle picked up her glass and carefully smelled it, a look of intoxication on her face.
"Ah, that indescribable aroma!"
Then Myrtle took a small sip, as if afraid of drinking too much.
A few minutes later, both of their glasses were empty, and both Fiona and Myrtle had a rosy flush on their faces.
"Goode, you're bribing me with 1775 Massandra. There must be something you want, right?"
"Yes, Snow, there are some things I need your help with."
"For the sake of this bottle of sherry, as long as what you need my help with isn't immoral, I'll agree."
A smile appeared on Fiona's face.
"Of course it's nothing immoral. I just want you to help me find a corpse, and your divination is the best in the Witch Council."
Myrtle squinted at Fiona with drunken eyes, looking surprised.
"Why do you need to find a corpse?"
"Hehe, that's personal privacy, Snow! I can't tell you."
Myrtle pondered for a moment and finally nodded.
"Alright, pour me another glass of 1775 Massandra, and I'll give you a divination right now!"
"That would be great!"
Fiona quickly filled Myrtle's glass.
"I'll go get the crystal ball, wait for me."
Divination was probably the most talent-dependent form of witchcraft. If you could open your third eye, you could learn divination.
But if you didn't have a third eye, even if you were the Supreme Witch, you couldn't learn divination.
This was why Fiona had to curry favor with Myrtle. Myrtle's divination was currently unique in the Witch Council; no one else knew how to do it.
After a while, Myrtle returned with the crystal ball.
"Let's begin. Tell me the name of the corpse and describe its appearance."
"I don't know her name, but I can describe her appearance."
Hearing this, Myrtle frowned.
"In that case, it will affect the accuracy of the divination, and it might even be impossible to divine her!"
"However, I have something that the corpse once touched."
Myrtle glanced at Fiona.
"Indeed, then give me the item."
Fiona handed Myrtle the burial shroud that had once been wrapped around Wendy. Myrtle also recognized the peculiar writing on the shroud, but she said nothing.
"I'm going to start the divination."

Chapter 211: Dirty Talk
Myrtle stared at the crystal ball in her hand with drunken eyes. Suddenly, her gaze became distant, as if she had traveled through time and space.
Within the crystal ball, a large amount of hazy substance appeared, like a misty future.
Only those with the "heavenly eye" could see the direction of the future from these hazy substances. Someone like Fiona wouldn't be able to see anything.
"I see it! The corpse you're looking for is in a wooden cabin in a swamp!"
A swamp? A wooden cabin?
Fiona frowned. There were indeed some natural wetlands near Boston. Could the person who stole the corpse be there?
As she pondered, Myrtle seemed to discover something else.
"Wait, didn't you say you were looking for a corpse? Why is she alive?"
Hearing this, Fiona was even more shocked than Myrtle.
"That's impossible! I'm sure she was a corpse. I even cut off her head! Look at her neck, isn't there some kind of mark?"
Myrtle began to observe more carefully and indeed saw some red marks on the target's neck.
"There is indeed some kind of mark... Wait! She's noticed me!"
Myrtle wanted to end the divination, but the target's reaction was very fast. She attacked Myrtle from afar, instantly causing Myrtle to spit out a mouthful of blood.
The more powerful the spellcaster, the stronger their perception. They can sense when others are spying on them and retaliate.
Fiona looked at Myrtle with a livid face. The corpse she was looking for had not only revived but had also revived as a powerful witch.
"Goode, you didn't say helping you with divination would have this kind of result!"
Even after spitting out a mouthful of blood, Myrtle's voice was still full of energy, indicating that her injuries weren't too serious.
Fiona understood what Myrtle meant.
"Snow, this remaining bottle of 1775 Massandra is yours."
"Now that's more like it!"
Myrtle snatched the wine bottle from the table, turned around, and left, leaving Fiona alone in the office to ponder.
After leaving the office, Myrtle's face immediately turned pale, and her breathing became faint. Clearly, her injuries were very serious, and her energetic demeanor just now was all an act.
Looking down at the 1775 Massandra sherry, Myrtle's expression was very unpleasant.
"Fiona Goode, what exactly are you trying to do?"
Divination was like this. Once the target of the divination discovered it, it was very easy to face retaliation.
Moreover, divination consumed one's lifespan, so the more powerful the diviner, the earlier they died.
Therefore, many diviners had taboos. They could only divine objects or ordinary people and wouldn't frequently take on jobs.
Today, Myrtle had been set up by Fiona, but Fiona truly didn't know that the corpse had revived. It was Myrtle's own fault for being curious and observing the target up close.
Yes, curiosity was also a major taboo for diviners.
Staggering towards her bedroom, Myrtle felt that she needed to rest for a while.
In an apartment not far from the witches' school, Roy also fell asleep.
After receiving Lilith's call this afternoon, Roy's mind suddenly opened up.
Since Madison and the others hadn't contacted him, why didn't he take the initiative to find them?
Of course, the method of finding them needed careful consideration. The witches' school was full of enchantments, and Roy didn't want to alert anyone, so he chose to use his Nightmare ability.
The Nightmare ability came from Freddy's Mystery Box. Since he got it, Roy had hardly ever used it, only a few times when he was dragged into dreams by the phantom room 1408. This was the first time he had actively used this ability on humans.
After entering the dream world, Roy created a door. This door was actually just symbolic, representing Roy's intention to leave his own dream.
To directly enter the dream of a target, he had to leave a mark on them.
However, Roy hadn't left a mark on Madison and the others before, so he could only try one dream at a time.
Fortunately, not many people lived near the witches' school, so after trying several times, he actually found Madison's dream.
In Madison's dream, she was walking the red carpet, surrounded by reporters taking pictures of her, while Madison naturally struck various poses.
What was outrageous was that Madison's male companion was Roy.
Roy was speechless. It was the first time he had seen another version of himself.
So, the self in other people's dreams was indeed just as handsome!
Even more outrageous things happened. Madison actually kissed the fake Roy beside her on the red carpet in front of everyone.
At this point, Roy couldn't watch anymore, fearing that in a few more seconds, the scene would turn into something out of the San Fernando Valley.
Don't doubt it, Madison was definitely capable of doing that!
"Madison!"
Madison, who was passionately kissing the fake Roy, turned her head in surprise and then saw another Roy. Compared to the fake Roy in her arms, this Roy looked much more lifelike in both expression and movement, just like a real person.
"Awesome, two Roys! Are you guys going to tag-team me?"
What kind of dirty talk was that?
Roy's face darkened!
"I'm the real Roy! I found you here through a dream!"
Madison obviously wouldn't believe Roy so easily. Normal people wouldn't believe that someone in their dream was real.
"Yeah, yeah, you're both real! Hurry up, I can't wait!"
Roy was speechless. To prove that he was real, he had no choice but to interfere with Madison's dream.
With a snap of his fingers, the fake Roy beside Madison disappeared.
This scene made Madison feel a faint sense of fear, which gave Roy more control over the dream. So, he snapped his fingers again, and all the reporters around the red carpet also disappeared.
Madison rubbed her eyes, looking at this scene in disbelief.
"How could this be? Could you really be Roy?"
"Yes, I am the real Roy!"
"But how did you enter my dream?"
"Well, it's my special ability. Madison, didn't you say you'd help me get into the witches' school?"
Madison's expression was strange. Being able to say such a thing, the Roy opposite her should indeed be real.
"I was put in detention today, and all my communication tools were confiscated, so I couldn't contact you."
So that was it. It must have been that Madison and the others got caught for what they did last night. The local FEA was pretty quick!
"Roy, I heard something today. You came to Boston to find your cousin, right?"
Roy looked at Madison in surprise.
"How did you know?"
"Because I happen to be very familiar with Emma, and her last name is the same as yours."
Black was a relatively common last name, but too many coincidences happening together would still be noticed.
So, Roy didn't hide it anymore.
"Yes, one of the reasons I came to Boston was to find Emma."
The other reason was to find Lilith's daughter, OphΓ©lia.
Madison walked over and lifted Roy's chin.
"You actually wanted to use me!"
"Madison, I'm really..."
Roy was about to apologize to Madison when he heard her say more dirty talk.
"So you have to fuck me hard once!"
Roy: ???
Roy began to not understand Madison's train of thought.
"Why are you looking at me like that? In Hollywood, only those with value get used. You using me means I have value, but you haven't paid me yet, so you have to compensate me!"
As expected of a child star who had been in Hollywood for many years, Madison was too real, so real that Roy was speechless.
While Roy was still speechless, Madison couldn't help but start to take off his clothes.
"Wait a minute! Don't rush!"
"Hurry up, I haven't tried having a lucid dream sex experience yet!"
In the blink of an eye, Roy was forced to drive a supercar.
What, you say why is Madison considered a supercar? That's of course because Madison's chassis is low!
Madison was the shortest woman among Roy's acquaintances, even a few centimeters shorter than the youthful version of Scarlett Johansson, Ashley.
But it was this girl who gave Roy the feeling that he had been taken advantage of, which was really strange!
"Oh! Move faster!"
"Aren't I already moving?"
"Not like that! I want the kind from last night, you're being too gentle now!"
Roy never expected that Madison would actually like him to stand up and pound her, but since she had requested it, Roy couldn't very well go against a woman's wishes.
Then let's do it!
With a "smack," a hand slapped hard on the taillight.
Roy shifted the gear to the highest setting and activated the nitrous oxide acceleration system.
"Madison, take this!"
"Yes, that's the feeling I want!"
After running through a map, Madison savored the feeling just now.
"Huh, lucid dreaming seems just like that. My senses seem to be weakened. The pain wasn't that painful, and the pleasure wasn't that pleasurable either."
"What else did you expect? This is a dream after all. How could it be exactly the same as reality!"
Roy snapped his fingers, and a set of clothes suddenly appeared on his body.
"Madison, I want to ask you a question."
"Go ahead."
"How is Emma doing now?"
Madison conjured a cigarette from nowhere and lit it.
"Emma is fine, doing well at school. Her injuries have also healed."
"Healed? So quickly?"
"Of course! The headmistress gave her her own brewed healing potion. Of course, her injuries healed quickly!"
Hearing this, Roy breathed a sigh of relief. If Emma wasn't being bullied, he could take his time.
"Madison, please take care of Emma for me during this time."
"Taking care of Emma is no problem, but how are you going to thank me?"
After finishing her post-coital cigarette, Madison licked her lips, once again revealing that carnivorous woman's expression.
"Next time, for sure!"
After saying that, Roy immediately opened a door and ran away.
This Madison, relying on the fact that it wouldn't hurt in the dream and there were no physical limitations, actually wanted to play overtime with Roy.
In reality, Madison definitely wouldn't dare to do this.
After entering the dream next door, Roy found himself in a beautiful church. The church was full of guests, as if attending a wedding.
Whose dream was this?
Roy quickly knew the answer.
"Mr. Roy Black, do you take Ms. Zoe Benson to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
It turned out to be that love-struck little witch, Zoe Benson. It seemed quite normal for this girl to dream of marrying him.
At this moment, Roy's mischievous side also came out, and he directly interrupted the priest's lines.
"I object to this marriage!"
The people at the wedding didn't move. They were essentially dream NPCs created by Zoe's subconscious, just as stiff as the fake Roy in Madison's dream, without much feedback.
Only Zoe turned her head back in great surprise, and then she saw another Roy.
"How can there be two Roys?"
Zoe was more normal and wouldn't say all sorts of dirty talk like Madison. She was just very confused.
"Zoe, I'm the real Roy, the one beside you is fake!"
At this time, the fake Roy beside Zoe also spoke.
"I'm the real one, he's fake."
The fake Roy's behavior should also be controlled by Zoe's subconscious. You could tell from Zoe's reaction at this moment.
"Ah, two Roys are fighting over me, I'm so happy!"
As expected of a love-struck girl, her head was full of idol drama plots.
Roy was a bit speechless and didn't want to keep playing with Zoe, so he directly snapped his fingers and made the fake Roy and all the guests disappear.
This situation startled Zoe.
"What happened?"
"Don't be afraid, Zoe. I'm the real Roy, and I can manipulate dreams."
With Roy's explanation, Zoe finally believed him, and then she quickly blushed.
"Ah! Then didn't you see me having this kind of dream?"
It was indeed quite embarrassing to have her dream wedding seen by someone, especially by the person she was fantasizing about.
Zoe was so embarrassed that she actually directly detached from the current dream, which meant she woke up on the spot.
The awakening of the dream's owner also meant that the current dream would collapse.
It was the first time Roy had encountered this situation. The whole world began to shatter, and below became a dark void, as if something was staring at him in the darkness.
Feeling a bad premonition, Roy quickly opened a door and entered another dream.
This time, Roy arrived inside a school.
It could be seen that this should be a school in the north, with a blizzard raging outside the window.
The place Roy entered should be relatively far from the dream's owner, so the surrounding environment was very blurry.
In a dream, everything revolves around the dream's owner.
So, the closer you get to the dream's owner, the more real the environment and characters will be, and vice versa, it will be very blurry.
As long as he walked towards the clear part of the environment, he would soon find the dream's owner.
After walking a few steps, Roy found an indoor ice rink and then saw many students holding a unique ice skating party on the rink.
All the students were wearing ice skates and freely gliding around the rink, but in the middle of the rink, there was a girl with her head down, not daring to move at all.
"Maria, why aren't you skating?"
"Maria, come and play!"
"Maria, why are you just standing there like a fool?"
...
A group of girls surrounded Maria, skating around her while mocking her.
Clearly, this was a nightmare about bullying.
Maria probably couldn't skate, so she was being bullied by her classmates at this party.
However, Roy couldn't be sure if this dream was a recreation of a real event or an image that Maria had imagined and processed.
Maria in the center of the ice rink finally couldn't help but take a step, but she directly fell backward.
Instantly, the dream began to become dark and distorted!
Maria's dark version (India Eisley)
Chapter 212: You Know How I Deal with Bad Kids, Right?
Changes in dreams can reflect what's going on inside the dreamer's head.
The dim, scarlet lighting, the sharp laughter everywhere, and the constantly shaking and twisting shadows all screamed Maria's inner anger.
So, yeah, something not so pleasant was probably about to go down.
To keep the little girl from going completely off the rails, Roy decided to switch things up a bit.
With a snap of his fingers, the dream started to change big time, with Roy as the center of it all.
The indoor ice rink morphed into a golden sandy beach, and the blizzard outside turned into a bright, sunny day.
Those classmates who'd been bullying Maria also transformed into a band wearing beach clothes, playing some upbeat tropical tunes.
Maria had been keeping her eyes closed, but then she suddenly felt that the ground felt weird. When she finally opened her eyes, she realized she wasn't in a freezing ice rink anymore, but on a warm, sunny beach.
For some reason, Maria suddenly felt the resentment in her heart start to fade away. This kind of warm, sunny vibe always makes people feel better.
"You shouldn't dwell on past hurts. You gotta look ahead! The blizzard always ends, and the sun will come out eventually."
Maria sat up and instinctively covered her butt when she saw the handsome boy walking towards her.
This made Roy's face fall. He totally lost his train of thought about what he was going to say to Maria.
Noticing Roy's expression, Maria realized her action was a little awkward and couldn't help but giggle.
Her previously icy expression gradually melted away.
"Oh, it's you. What are you doing in my dream?"
It was pretty unusual that Maria could actually tell she was dreaming and also knew Roy was real.
"You can tell it's really me?"
Maria stood up and brushed the sand off herself.
"Uh-huh! The scene you just saw? That actually happened to me back in my senior year of high school. You weren't in it."
So, it figured. That nightmare scene really was something Maria had gone through.
"And then? What happened next?"
Maria had a faint smile on her face, but her eyes were completely dead.
"After that, I awakened my witch powers and took care of the people who used to bully me, and my father too."
Another Emma. Seriously, are all these little witches daddy-issue central?
Seeing Roy didn't say anything, a touch of sadness crossed Maria's face.
"What's wrong? Did you hear I'm a murderer, so you don't want to talk to me anymore?"
Roy was a little speechless. Girls Maria's age just loved to overthink things, either being all self-dramatic or feeling sorry for themselves.
Walking up to Maria, Roy reached out and gently touched her cheek. The girl still had a bit of baby fat, and it felt pretty good.
"Trust me, I've probably offed more people than you. You can take that to the bank."
Roy's ambiguous move made Maria's face heat up. She really wanted to step back and get away from him, but deep down, she didn't really want to.
"Really?"
Maria tilted her head up slightly, showing off a nice jawline, and then Roy's hand slid down to her chin.
This action was kind of like petting a pet.
Huh, not gonna lie, that feels pretty good!
"Yeah, but the people I killed were all bad guys. Never touched a good person."
Maria blinked. Meanwhile, Roy's hand didn't stop. He was kind of getting hooked on touching the little girl's chin.
"Then how do you know if the people you killed were good or bad?"
"With these eyes of mine. Look at me!"
Maria noticed Roy's pupils turn silver. Those eyes were so mesmerizing, so pure, that she felt completely lost in them.
By the time Maria snapped out of it, she found herself kneeling on the beach, and Roy had gone from touching her chin to stroking the top of her head.
Definitely felt more and more like petting a pet!
But Maria didn't seem to mind at all. In fact, she leaned into Roy, making it easier for him to stroke her head.
"Roy, am I a bad person then?"
"Not entirely a bad person yet. There's still hope for you."
Roy had just used his Eye of Judgment to check out Maria and saw that the aura around her was orange. This meant she had definitely done some bad stuff, but it hadn't reached the red level yet.
Someone like that could still be turned around.
Maria looked up in surprise. She had given up on herself and kept going down the wrong path precisely because she thought she was beyond saving.
Those big, fluttering eyes regained some life, losing that dead look they had before.
"There's still hope for me?"
Roy crouched down, cupped Maria's face in his hands, and leaned closer.
"Do you really want to become the kind of person you hated the most in the past? A disgusting bully?"
Maria froze. She realized she was actually turning into the very kind of person she used to despise, and this realization made her even more upset.
"No! I don't want that! I don't want to become that kind of person!"
Maria covered her head and let out a hysterical scream, and then a large amount of black smoke poured out of her body.
After leaving Maria's body, this black smoke quickly formed another Maria. They looked exactly the same, except the other Maria's makeup was way more punk rock.
Smoky eyes, black lips, and a wicked vibe totally set this one apart from Maria.
Roy watched the other "Maria" warily.
"Who are you?"
"Hehe, I'm Maria's twin sister, Aileen!"
The girl who called herself Aileen sauntered towards Roy with a flirty strut. She clearly hadn't had any professional training, because her walk had a lot of mistakes.
It was just like a kid clumsily imitating a model on TV.
"Maria has a twin sister?"
"Yep! After our dad delivered us, he found out I had some kind of deformity and decided to ditch me. So, my soul latched onto Maria and grew up with her."
Another case of two souls in one body!
This wasn't the first time Roy had run into this kind of situation. Jennifer was currently in the same boat, though Lilith inside Jennifer had only woken up after her witch powers kicked in.
But Maria's sister, Aileen, had been with her since she was a kid, only Aileen had always been super weak.
It wasn't until Maria recently went through a bunch of emotional trauma that all the negative feelings fed Aileen, making her stronger and stronger, so she started influencing Maria in return.
(The mirror image sisters looked at each other for the first time)
"Were you the one influencing Maria all along?"
"Isn't it great? No one will ever dare to mess with Maria again. Anyone who does will die!"
Aileen's delicate face was ice-cold. It was hard to believe such a cute girl could say something so brutal.
Roy looked at Aileen with interest. Maria's situation was pretty similar to Emma's.
The only difference was that Emma was being influenced by the demon bloodline from Leviathan, while Maria was being controlled by the resentment of her abandoned and dead twin sister (or maybe younger sister?).
No wonder Maria wanted to kill her dad. It was probably Aileen pulling the strings back then.
Without realizing it, Aileen had already walked up to Roy and reached out to touch his strong chest muscles.
"Maria likes you a lot, and I like you too! But there's one thing about you that's really not cool. You're way too much of a player. It makes me want to kill you and keep you all to myself!"
Love you so much I want to kill you, huh? What's with all these yandere girls?
Looks like I really need to get you under control!
A very sunny smile spread across Roy's face.
"You know how I deal with bad kids, right?"
Aileen had been attached to Maria the whole time and knew everything that had happened to her. As soon as she heard that sentence, she got a bad feeling and quickly floated backward.
Too bad for her, Roy reacted even faster and used Dark Touch right away.
Four pitch-black tentacles wrapped around Aileen's limbs, pulling her back towards Roy so her back was facing him.
"Let go of me, you jerk!"
Black smoke poured out of Aileen as she tried to attack Roy with her resentment.
But it was no use. Even if Aileen's resentment was strong, could it be stronger than Sadako's or Kayako's?
Roy had easily dealt with those two famous evil spirits, let alone this little shrimp, Aileen.
"Settle down!"
Roy started playing the African hand drum again. Having done it once before, his rhythm and beat were even better this time.
"Ah! That hurts!" Γ2
At that moment, Aileen and Maria both screamed in agony.
Hmm? So, these twins share their senses? Or is that just how it is with two souls in one body?
Roy didn't think too much about it. He decided to finish playing the African hand drum first. Gotta see things through to the end!
"Stop it! Stop it!"
"Waaah, I know I was wrong!"
"I already said I know I was wrong, so why are you still hitting me?"
...
As Roy kept drumming, the black resentment in Aileen's body was continuously forced out.
After ten minutes of drumming, Aileen's rebellious teenage punk makeup had completely vanished, and she looked pale and pitiful.
Roy controlled the black tentacles and flipped Aileen over.
"Do you know you were wrong now?"
Aileen quickly nodded, her tear-streaked face looking like a damsel in distress.
"Don't let me catch you making Maria do bad things again, or I'll beat you again next time!"
"I won't, I promise I won't!"
Roy released the Dark Touch, and Aileen immediately turned into a wisp of smoke and merged back into Maria's body.
At this point, Maria's face was flushed, and she was lying on the beach, moaning.
Roy walked over and helped Maria up.
"It's okay now! Before, you had so many dark thoughts, and a lot of that was because of your vengeful spirit sister. She should be more behaved now."
Maria's eyes were misty, making it impossible to tell what she was thinking.
"Thank you, Roy!"
Maria suddenly wrapped her arms around Roy's neck and planted a kiss on him.
Roy froze for a second, not knowing how to react.
Did spanking her lead to feelings?
Can that even happen?
But the girl's lips were fragrant and soft, making him want to keep them in his mouth and never let go.
After a while, Roy finally remembered he had important things to do and quickly pushed Maria away.
"Sorry, Maria, I've got stuff to take care of. I'll come find you next time, okay?"
Maria flipped her hair a little, a small gesture that gave her a bit of a sultry vibe.
"Are you trying to get into Emma's dream?"
Roy looked at Maria in surprise. It was one thing for Madison to know, but how did she know too?
Had Emma been going around the witch school telling everyone he was her cousin?
"How did you know?"
"I'm actually in the same dorm as Emma, and we're pretty good friends."
Maria told a little white lie, her goal, of course, being to get on Roy's good side.
"I see. Well, could you keep an eye on Emma for me?"
"Yeah!"
Emma, who was sleeping in her dorm, had no idea that by the end of the night, two older sisters would be looking out for her.
Opening another door, Roy decided to speed things up. He had spent too much time in Madison's and Maria's dreams. At this rate, he wouldn't even reach Emma's dream before sunrise.
This time, no matter whose dream it was, if Roy took one look and it wasn't Emma, he'd immediately leave for the next one.
It seemed like Roy didn't know anyone else at the witch school.
Oh, except for Cordelia.
But as soon as he stepped into this dream, Roy felt like something was off.
The color scheme in the dream was bright red. A little bit of that color might look nice, but when the entire environment was that shade of red, it made you feel uneasy.
Taking a closer look around, Roy found himself on a small island. A blood moon hung in the sky, and the red light all around came from it.
What kind of weird dream was this now?
Roy felt like the dreams of these little witches were getting stranger and stranger. He really hoped this wasn't Emma's dream!
He still needed to make sure, though.
Roy started looking for the dreamer. Before long, he spotted a wooden house with a red roof on the island. In front of the house, there were about a dozen people wearing pointed black robes and holding torches, seemingly surrounding someone.
Those pointed black robes were the classic look for cultists. Roy immediately realized he had stumbled into a dream about a cult ritual.
How could anyone have a dream like this?
Just as he was wondering, Roy saw that the cultists were surrounding a naked girl. Since he hadn't seen any female features among the other cultists, this girl had to be the dreamer.
The girl was kneeling on the ground with her head down and a dazed look on her face. A magic circle with an upside-down pentagram was drawn around her, which meant these cultists worshiped Samael, the King of Wrath.
The cultists were chanting around the girl. Roy listened for a bit and realized they were mostly just praising Samael.
After chanting for a while, the leader of the cult stepped forward, lifted the girl's head, and drew an upside-down pentagram on her forehead.
Roy originally didn't want to get involved. He was on a tight schedule and had to find Emma.
But when the cultist lifted the girl's head, Roy got a clear look at her face.
Holy crap, isn't that Hit-Girl?!
Since it was Hit-Girl, she must be someone important. Roy decided to stick around and see what this dream was all about.
