But even as they were laughing, Kazama had already begun his rapid hand signs.
"巳－未－申－亥－午－寅 (Snake - Ram - Monkey - Boar - Horse - Tiger)! Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
As Kazama completed his hand signs, a massive fireball erupted from his mouth.
"What?! How is this possible?!" Shimura Ichiro was stunned, dumbfounded, to see Kazama actually use the Great Fireball Jutsu.
"Boss! Run!" If his few lackeys hadn't dragged him away in time, he likely would have been burned to ashes by Kazama's fireball. Even though Shimura Ichiro and his group barely managed to avoid Kazama's Fire Style, the Great Fireball's immense power and wide area of effect meant that just the residual force was enough to send them sprawling.
And with the scorching heat that lingered after the fire dragon disappeared, Shimura Ichiro's clothes were completely incinerated.
"Boss, isn't this dead last, Kazama, way too strong?"
"Yeah, even you haven't fully mastered this Fire Dragon Flame Bullet, so how could a loser like him use it?"
"Damn it! You ask me, who should I ask?!" Shimura Ichiro knew that Kazama was no longer the same, so he immediately plopped down and knelt before Kazama.
"Kazama-bro, we were wrong. Please, spare our lives!" Because facing the power of Kazama's Great Fireball, not only could they not handle it, but even Genin and Chunin might not be able to withstand it.
"Hmph! I can spare you, but I remember you guys always extorting protection money from me and often beating me up. So, as compensation, now hand over all the money you have!"
"Okay! We'll give it to you!" Shimura Ichiro secretly rejoiced, hearing that Kazama only wanted money and not their lives. Because as long as he lived, he could then use his family's power to deal with Kazama.
After throwing down their money, Shimura Ichiro and the others vanished in a flash. And what Kazama needed most right now was money. Because with money, he could buy various Ninjutsu to enhance his own strength.
"No way! These three guys are so broke!" Kazama had thought Shimura Ichiro and the others would at least have a few hundred thousand Ryo, but to his surprise, they only had a few hundred. Kazama had originally planned on buying some B-rank, or even S-rank Ninjutsu! But it seemed he would have to start with the lower-ranked ones for now.
"Oh well, a fly, no matter how small, is still meat!" With that thought, Kazama happily opened his system interface again.
"To save my life, I should buy a Clone Jutsu first!" After all, Kazama's funds were limited right now. Since he couldn't gain a lot of Ninjutsu to boost his strength in a short amount of time, he could only buy some defensive Ninjutsu for now.
[Clone Jutsu: 500 Ryo!]
[Water Clone: 1000 Ryo!]
[Lightning Clone: 1000 Ryo!]
[Shadow Clone: 5000 Ryo!]
Seeing that each clone was more expensive than the last, especially the Shadow Clone at 5000 Ryo, Kazama couldn't help but inwardly click his tongue.
"It's indeed Prince Naruto's signature clone jutsu! It's certainly much more expensive. Forget it, for now, I'll just buy a normal clone. I'll get the Shadow Clone when I have more money later!"
Currently, Kazama was broke, so he could only afford the regular Clone Jutsu.
"Selected [Clone Jutsu] successfully. Host, please pay 500 Ryo!" Seeing the money he had just gotten about to be spent, Kazama felt a pang of heartache.
Chapter 362: Going Back in Time to Beat Up Sasuke
Still, to boost his chances of survival, the Shadow Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no Jutsu) was a must-buy.
"Bought it!"
Ding! Purchase successful! Congratulations, host, you've acquired Shadow Clone Jutsu!
"Ha ha!"
Kazama swiftly performed the hand signs. In one breath, he created dozens of clones. You know, using clones like this drains a ton of chakra. Most ninja wouldn't dare create so many unless it was absolutely necessary. But for Kazama, with his infinite chakra, a few dozen clones were nothing. He could handle hundreds!
Right then, Kazama excitedly headed towards the Ninja Academy. Today was the day of the Ninja Academy graduation exam! Since he had transmigrated to the Naruto world and gained the "Get Strong by Spending Money" system, Kazama naturally wanted to boost his power to eventually dominate the entire Shinobi World.
The first step to getting stronger was to graduate from the Academy and become a Genin. Only as a Genin could he take on missions and earn money, which he could then use to buy all sorts of awesome, mind-blowing skills from the system's shop.
Kazama remembered that the first part of the graduation exam was the Clone Jutsu. The old Sanada Kazama would never have passed, but for the current Kazama, who had mastered the Clone Jutsu, this exam was a piece of cake.
Upon arriving at the Ninja Academy, Kazama immediately spotted familiar faces he'd only seen in the manga: the stoic Sasuke Uchiha, surrounded by girls like Sakura and Ino, Chōji with snacks always in hand, and Kiba Inuzuka with Akamaru perched on his head...
"Huh? Where's the 'Number One Hyperactive, Knucklehead Ninja,' Naruto?"
Kazama searched around but couldn't find Naruto Uzumaki.
"Oh, right! I remember Naruto often drinks expired milk. He's probably having a rough time in the bathroom right now, dealing with a stomachache."
Just then, Iruka-sensei arrived among the students.
"Alright everyone, the first part of our graduation exam is the Clone Jutsu!"
As soon as Iruka finished speaking, everyone went up in turn to perform the jutsu. First up was the so-called genius, Sasuke Uchiha. Don't let his perpetually grumpy face fool you; Sasuke's strength was truly formidable. He had mastered the Clone Jutsu to perfection.
As Sasuke successfully performed the Clone Jutsu on stage, the female students in the audience cheered wildly, especially Sakura and Ino, who kept batting their eyelashes at Sasuke. Kazama couldn't help but chuckle inwardly.
"They're this excited over just one clone? What if I made hundreds? They'd probably faint from excitement!"
Just as Kazama was thinking this, Iruka-sensei called out his name.
"Kazama-kun, you're up!"
"Haha, the 'dead last' is about to put on another comedy show!"
When they realized Kazama was about to go on stage, the entire class erupted in laughter.
"Remember last time? Kazama, that loser, strained for ages and couldn't even make a clone, then he just let out a loud fart instead!"
"Of course, I remember! That's why he's called the worst of the worst, even worse than Naruto, the actual dead last!"
Hearing their mockery, Kazama didn't get angry; instead, he smiled. He knew he was about to wipe those smirks off their faces. Amidst the roaring laughter, Kazama strode confidently onto the platform. Then, right in front of everyone, he immediately performed a single clone. Originally, Kazama had planned to create dozens, even hundreds, of clones.
Chapter 363: I Have Plenty of Clones
Kazama knew his current strength wasn't exceptionally high or overwhelmingly powerful. So, he had to play it smart, like a fox in sheep's clothing.
Everyone there initially thought that any clone Kazama made would be completely useless. But to their surprise, the clone Kazama created was an exact replica of his original body. The quality of a clone could usually be seen from its appearance.
Even the clones Sasuke created earlier were somewhat translucent. After all, they were just Ninja Academy students; their chakra reserves weren't substantial. Thus, their clones wouldn't be truly solid. But Kazama's clone was solid, identical to his real body, almost impossible to tell apart.
The crowd below, who had been ready to mock Kazama, were now stunned and speechless, exchanging wide-eyed glances. The previously boisterous arena was now dead silent, all thanks to Kazama's clone. Even Iruka-sensei, their teacher, looked utterly disbelieving.
"So, Iruka-sensei, is my clone acceptable now?"
"Well, about that..."
Upon hearing Kazama's question, Iruka immediately swallowed. Then, he happily nodded at Kazama.
"Acceptable, of course it's acceptable! Not only is it acceptable, but it's an outstandingly acceptable performance!" Iruka exclaimed, giving Kazama a thumbs-up. He knew Kazama used to be a dead last. Forget the Clone Jutsu itself, Kazama couldn't even remember all the hand signs for it. But now, in the blink of an eye, Kazama had created a truly solid clone. Iruka was naturally overjoyed.
Meanwhile, the crowd below saw their "dead last," the good-for-nothing Kazama, perform a clone jutsu that was actually better and more powerful than theirs. Immediately, all sorts of envy, jealousy, and resentment flared up. Then, the students who had previously looked down on Kazama started mocking him again.
"Heh, isn't it just one clone? What's so great about that?"
"Exactly, if a Ninja Academy student can't even make a clone, aren't they trash?"
"Heh! You really shouldn't say that. For a dead last like Kazama, being able to make even one clone is already super impressive. Are you seriously expecting him to make dozens of clones?"
"Mm, good, good. Such a result is perfect for trash, hahahaha!"
The crowd continued their sarcastic remarks, taunting Kazama. Although they all knew Kazama's Clone Jutsu now surpassed theirs, they still refused to admit he was amazing or powerful. It's like how a person can tolerate a complete stranger becoming very successful, but if someone close to them, who was once inferior, suddenly becomes incredibly successful, most people would get angry and jealous.
At that moment, Kazama heard the crowd below mocking him for only being able to create one clone. He then smiled again and told them, "Let me tell you, forget ten clones, I can make a hundred of them!"
"Heh, that's just hilarious!" Hearing Kazama's words, the crowd burst into laughter once more.
Chapter 364: A Bet's a Bet
"I'm telling you, Kazama, you think you can make a hundred clones? Dream on! If you can make ten clones, and they're indistinguishable from your real body, I'll bow down to you!"
"Yeah, that's right!"
At this, the crowd below the stage started mocking Kazama.
"You don't need to 'bow down' to me. If I make ten clones, I just need you all to hand over all the money you have!"
Right now, what Kazama needed most was money, so he naturally had to find ways to earn it to buy more skills.
"No problem! It's just money, right? I've got plenty!"
Those in the audience who loved a good show, and didn't mind a little chaos, immediately started hyping things up.
"But if you can't make ten clones, then you have to bow a thousand times, and make it count!"
"Deal!"
"Kid, you're definitely bowing a thousand times now!"
Everyone laughed even harder, convinced that Kazama couldn't possibly perform ten clones.
Kazama, seeing their utter contempt, let out a cold laugh. He then immediately began to form the hand signs for his Clone Jutsu.
Just then, Sasuke, who had been about to leave, was drawn back by the spectacle of the ongoing bet. When he saw that Kazama was actually willing to uphold the wager and attempt ten clones, Sasuke sneered.
"Even I, a genius of the Uchiha clan, can't make ten clones at once. And you, a dead last, think you can? That's simply impossible!"
But as Sasuke was scoffing at Kazama in his mind, the scene that unfolded before him almost made him collapse to the ground.
While everyone still disbelieved that Kazama could create ten clones, Kazama swiftly formed a hand seal, and with a few "poof, poof, poof" sounds, ten clones appeared right before their eyes.
"What?! How is this possible?"
"This is absolutely impossible!"
At this moment, it wasn't just Sasuke. Even Iruka-sensei, their teacher, was stunned speechless by Kazama's feat.
And those who had made the bet with Kazama were dumbfounded. They had never in their wildest dreams expected that Kazama, the "dead last," could suddenly create ten clones. This was clearly the work of a genius!
As everyone stood in shock, Kazama spoke again, addressing the crowd. "Not only can I make ten clones, but a hundred clones are no problem for me either!"
As soon as Kazama finished speaking, a continuous swirl of smoke appeared, and all one hundred of Kazama's clones materialized before everyone's eyes.
Ding! Successfully performed one hundred clones! Reward: Host gains Hand Seal-Free Jutsu skill!
"Hand Seal-Free? Does that mean I don't have to perform hand signs for ninjutsu anymore? Awesome, that's seriously awesome!"
Just as Kazama was getting excited about his newly acquired skill, the crowd below the stage, stunned by Kazama's feat of creating hundreds of clones in one go, panicked and scattered.
"Ghost!"
"Monster!"
"Run for your lives!"
At this point, their initial shock had turned into sheer terror. They had never seen a Ninja Academy student capable of creating one hundred clones at once. This completely shattered their worldview, something they wouldn't have even dared to dream of.
Meanwhile, the few who had made the bet with Kazama, seeing how incredibly powerful he had become, immediately tried to sneak away in the chaos. But with a single command from Kazama, his hundreds of clones tightly surrounded them.
"Since you lost the bet, isn't it time to pay up?"
Hearing Kazama's words, those formerly arrogant ninja students could only hurriedly hand over their money to Kazama.
Chapter 365: Smashing Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki Again
At this point, the reason Kazama needed money from these folks was to buy space-ninjutsu, specifically Amenominaka. As soon as Kazama could get to Amenominaka, he'd be able to fully restore all his power. Once that happened, he could return to the main world and totally clobber Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki again.
And just as Kazama expected, the money he "won" from those ninja students was indeed enough for him to buy Amenominaka. So, Kazama immediately opened up that "pay-to-win" system and purchased the super space-time ninjutsu, Amenominaka.
"Later, everyone! This world was nice and all, but I really need to get back to the main world and deal with the Ōtsutsuki trio!"
The moment Kazama finished speaking, he immediately activated Amenominaka. And just as he'd anticipated, the second he arrived in the Amenominaka's "Starting Ball" space, Kazama instantly regained all his previous abilities. He had everything back: the "Different Flames" and the "Fēnjue System". While that previous "pay-to-win" system was pretty good, Kazama's Fēnjue System was already maxed out, so he naturally wouldn't choose a lower-tier system again.
"Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki, long time no see!"
"What?! How is this possible?!"
Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki truly never expected this. He had clearly sent Kazama to another dimension and sealed his abilities, yet Kazama had somehow broken free from his control.
"Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki, that space you created wasn't bad, but I prefer this one. Because in this space, I can totally beat down you Ōtsutsuki clan members!"
"You infuriating pest!"
Hearing Kazama's mockery, Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki went all out from the very first moment, looking like he wanted to tear Kazama limb from limb. But he was facing Kazama, who possessed twenty-three different flames. Plus, Kazama could absorb others' ninjutsu and make it his own. So, even if Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki was one of the "heavenly clan," no matter how incredible or powerful he was, he was no match for Kazama.
However, Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki didn't know Kazama's true strength yet. He had only seen Kazama previously humiliate their Ōtsutsuki clan, especially Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki. That's why Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki, as Momoshiki's attendant, was so determined to utterly destroy Kazama and turn him to dust.
Even though Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki didn't have the Rinnegan, he did possess a unique ability: he could transform his chakra into various ninja tools to attack his opponents. At that moment, Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki raised a hand, and a massive, world-splitting axe immediately swung down towards Kazama's head.
As Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki chopped down at Kazama, he sneered, "Let me tell you, you little punk, don't think you can act all high and mighty in front of me just because you used Rinnegan pressure before. My chakra tools can resist your Rinnegan pressure!"
Hearing Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki's words, Kazama was instantly shocked. He then muttered to himself, "Rinnegan pressure is so awesome, I don't believe you can resist it." Thinking this, Kazama unleashed his Rinnegan pressure again. But to Kazama's surprise, Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki's words were actually true this time.
