Outside the observation room, an agent was monitoring the crystal coffin.
Feeling bored, this agent picked up a magazine to pass the time. He didn't notice the tarp on top of the crystal coffin in the observation room slowly sliding off.
The naked alien woman climbed out of the crystal coffin and came to the door of the observation room.
The entrance to the observation room was locked and could only be opened from the outside. However, the alien woman touched the door, and then her whole body passed right through it, coming outside.
The FEA agent was engrossed in reading the magazine when he suddenly smelled a fragrance. He looked up and saw the naked alien woman.
Her mesmerizing emerald green eyes seemed to speak, instantly captivating the FEA agent.
"Darling, would you like to experience ecstasy?"
The FEA agent replied as if in a dream.
"Yes…"
"Then kiss me!"
The alien woman pressed her face against the FEA agent's face. Just as their lips were about to touch, the FEA agent felt a strong suction.
At this moment, the FEA agent suddenly woke up, but it was too late.
Within seconds, the alien woman had drained all the bodily fluids from the FEA agent's body, turning him into a mummified corpse.
However, the FEA agent didn't die. His eyeballs were still moving.
"Get up, my puppet, and tell me how to get out of here!"
The mummified corpse stood up and led the alien woman outside.
At this time, the two alien men had just been shot dead, and the other FEA agents were coming over to check.
Seeing the naked alien woman walking out, they immediately sensed something was wrong. They were just about to draw their guns when they saw the alien woman blow them a kiss.
Several FEA agents were instantly dazed, and their pistols fell to the ground.
"Come here, I'll let you experience ecstasy!"
The alien woman continued to drain these FEA agents into mummified corpses, turning them into her desire puppets.
At this moment, the situation was also discovered in the monitoring room. They immediately pressed the alarm button and sent a signal to the branch.
But then, the alien woman, sensing something was amiss, looked at the surveillance camera. The agents in the monitoring room were also instantly charmed.
Repeating this process, all the agents in the entire base were turned into mummified corpses by the alien woman, including the researchers from Amacham Technology Company.
Controlling these mummified corpses to walk out of the FEA's secret base, the alien woman stood under the moonlight and suddenly began to dance gracefully.
The alien woman's dance was incredibly beautiful, and her figure was flawless. This nude dance under the moonlight was like a work of art.
Unfortunately, the mummified corpses on the scene were clearly unable to stand up and applaud; they could only keep licking their lips.
After dancing for a while, a burst of fire suddenly appeared in front of the alien woman, and she immediately knelt down.
The voice in the fire was exactly the same as the voice in the fire that had appeared in the lair of the underground ghoul monster.
"Elrasha (guess where this character is from), I sensed your call. Have you arrived on Earth?"
"Yes, Mother, I have come to Earth as you instructed and am currently near Los Angeles."
"Excellent! Find the one who killed your sister, and then take him out!"
"Mother, I will follow your instructions and find that person."
"I will give you some guidance. That guy is a member of that bitch Belial's group. Don't give him any chance!"
"Yes, Mother!"
A necklace floated out of the fire and landed in front of Elrasha. She picked it up, put it around her neck, and then walked towards downtown Los Angeles.
Gerald was still asleep when he received the news that something had happened at the secret base.
"What did you say? Something happened again!"
Gerald was so angry his liver hurt, but since it had already happened, he could only get up and deal with it.
Half an hour later, when Gerald arrived at the secret base outside Los Angeles with his FEAR (likely FEA) teammates, it was already empty. Only the two dead alien male creatures remained.
Gerald pulled up the surveillance footage. Elrasha hadn't destroyed the recordings, perhaps she didn't even know what a recording was.
After watching the surveillance footage, Gerald immediately started to have a headache.
More than a dozen agents in the secret base were wiped out, and none of the researchers sent by Amacham Technology Company survived. Now Gerald didn't know how to explain this to Bartholomew. That old woman was not easy to deal with.
Speak of the devil!
Gerald heard some commotion outside.
"What's going on outside?"
"Director Olin, it's Bartholomew, the representative from Amacham Technology Company!"
"What did you say? How did she find out?"
Gerald's expression was very unpleasant. Bartholomew's arrival so quickly could only mean that there were people from Amacham Technology Company within the FEA.
Although he knew that this company had deep ties with the government and that many departments were connected to Amacham Technology Company,
he had only received the news less than an hour ago, and Bartholomew had already arrived, indicating that she had received the information at about the same time as him.
This situation made Gerald feel somewhat defeated.
"Mr. Olin, why are you stopping me from entering? Is it because you don't know how to explain things to me?"
Bartholomew still barged in, her face as cold as ice and her aura aggressive.
"Shouldn't I be the one saying that? I just got the news and rushed over here, and you, Ms. Bartholomew, arrived right after me. It makes me wonder if this incident was orchestrated by your company!"
Gerald was no pushover either, directly pinning the blame on Bartholomew, leaving her speechless for a moment.
"You, what are you joking about! Amacham Technology Company is absolutely loyal to America! How could we do something like this!"
Gerald glared at Bartholomew with bloodshot eyes.
"Then don't mention any explanations at a time like this, or I'll have no choice but to send you to prison!"
Bartholomew finally understood that she couldn't push someone holding a gun too far. She also realized that she had been a little too impatient today, and her tone softened instantly.
"Director Olin, I know you've lost many agents and must be feeling terrible, but I've also lost many researchers. Their value to the company is extraordinary!"
Gerald looked fiercely at Bartholomew.
"Then what do you want?"
"Director Olin, I know you still have two bodies here. How about giving one body to Amacham Technology Company? Then I won't pursue this matter any further!"
So that was Bartholomew's real purpose. This guy had been coveting the alien creatures' bodies all along.
Perhaps those researchers weren't important to Amacham Technology Company at all.
But Gerald was even more furious. Bartholomew knew the situation inside the base as soon as she arrived, which meant there was a mole among the agents she brought.
"This matter will have to wait until I find the escaped alien! Take her away!"
Bartholomew was stunned for a moment before realizing that Gerald was going to arrest her.
"You bastard, you can't do this!"
Gerald directly pulled out his gun and pointed it at Bartholomew.
"You are now suspected of endangering national security. You better cooperate with me obediently, or I'll have no choice but to execute you on the spot!"
Bartholomew remained silent. She knew Gerald was truly angry. He was from an intelligence agency; they really had a license to kill.
Speaking any further at this time might really get her killed!
"Take her away! Seal off the base first!"
After leaving the secret base, Gerald began mobilizing FEA agents to hunt down the female alien.
The female alien had left the secret base less than two hours ago and didn't have a vehicle. She might just have reached the outskirts of Los Angeles, and they might still have time to catch her.
However, through the surveillance footage, Gerald saw the female alien's powerful charm ability, so they needed to plan carefully on how to capture her.
Then Gerald thought of Roy.
"Hello, Mr. Black, are you free right now?"
"Mr. Olin, just get straight to the point."
Roy knew that Gerald only contacted him when he needed something important.
"Hehe, it's like this, Mr. Black."
Gerald explained that he was hunting a woman with a powerful charm ability and hoped Roy could help.
A woman with a powerful charm ability – could it be another succubus?
The cyber succubus Adela had almost caused Roy to fail last time, and he still felt lingering fear when he thought about it.
Although Roy's willpower stat had improved a lot now, he was still a bit uncertain.
"Mr. Olin, this matter might be difficult to handle. I'm not very good at dealing with this kind of enemy. You know I almost died last time in the underground base."
Gerald recalled that he had cooperated with Roy so many times, but Roy had only been seriously injured in two incidents.
One was the Slender Man incident, and the other was the succubus incident.
"Mr. Black, I think we can discuss this! You can propose any conditions you have!"
Roy felt that Gerald's current attitude seemed a bit too eager. Could it be that the woman was very important, or had she caused some significant losses?
Perhaps this time, Roy could get a lot of benefits from Gerald.
"Mr. Olin, let's meet and talk in detail later!"
Gerald quickly returned to the Dolphin Hotel and had a detailed discussion with Roy in the office.
There would definitely be a hiring fee, and the Dolphin Hotel's restaurant would be lent to Roy for free on the evening of March 21st.
Finally, and most importantly, Roy obtained an official FEA identification card from Gerald. He didn't have to follow Gerald's orders but enjoyed some of the conveniences of the FEA.
In this way, Roy also had a license to kill, and he could show his ID to the police in the future.
After agreeing on the conditions, Roy began to inquire about the woman's abilities.
"Known abilities so far: powerful charm, can drain human body fluids, turning people into mummified puppets, and can pass through walls."
"Sounds a bit tricky. Do you know where she is now?"
Gerald called in a subordinate agent to inquire about the situation and then learned that the woman had no intention of hiding herself. She was walking naked on the street without any concern, followed by a group of mummified corpses, and had already appeared on television.
"What did you say! That woman is on TV?"
Thinking about it, it made sense. A stunningly beautiful woman walking naked on the street would definitely attract onlookers.
And the male onlookers would definitely be charmed by the woman and then drained into mummified corpses, which would naturally attract the media.
"Yes, Director Olin, the East District is now in chaos. There are mummified corpses everywhere, and the FEAR (likely FEA) team members don't dare to get close!"
Gerald's face was as dark as the bottom of a pot. He thought the Lord of Greed's plan might cause him big trouble, but before the Lord of Greed's plan even started, he was already in deep trouble.
"Mr. Black, we can only rely on you now!"
Roy frowned slightly. The woman was causing such a big commotion that she might attract Iris.
"I'll leave immediately!"
"Wait, Mr. Black! If possible, it's best to capture that woman alive! Even if you're forced to kill her, please keep the body intact!"
Still thinking about research?
Well, after such a big mess, Gerald could only try to salvage something from this.
"I'll do my best!"
The East District of Los Angeles has always been a community mainly populated by Black and Hispanic residents, so the security situation there was already questionable.
When Elrasha appeared here, she added fuel to the fire of chaos.
The level of chaos in the East District was now comparable to the 1992 Los Angeles riots. The frantically killing mummified corpses and the gang members taking advantage of the situation made this area seem to fall into eternal night.
In the sky, a television station helicopter was broadcasting the scene live. Because they were flying relatively high, they were not affected by Elrasha.
"Viewers, this is Marian Megan reporting live for you! Look! That mysterious woman is leading her army of mummified corpses all the way, they seem to want to cross the entire city! The LAPD and FBI are completely unable to stop them!"
FEAR (likely FEA) had arrived on the scene, but they were understaffed and had to cooperate with the LAPD and FBI to barely control the situation.
Moreover, these three departments didn't dare to get too close to Elrasha, because as long as they got close, the men would be controlled by Elrasha. No one wanted to become a mummified corpse.
"Another government department helicopter has arrived on the scene. Let's see which department it is! 'F.E.A.R.' What department is this?"
The blonde female news anchor from the TV station was still dutifully explaining the situation on the scene. She didn't know that the live broadcast signal had already been cut off by the FEA. Gerald would never allow the situation on the scene to be leaked.
The FEAR (likely FEA) helicopter hovered 300 meters above Elrasha, a distance that wouldn't be affected by Elrasha's charm.
At this moment, the necklace around Elrasha's neck suddenly emitted a red light, causing her to look up at the FEA helicopter in the sky.
"Did they actually deliver themselves to my door?"
Elrasha clapped her hands, and the chaotic mummified corpses instantly regained order and lined up neatly.
"Strange, why did those mummified corpses suddenly start lining up?"
Just as the female news anchor from the TV station was wondering, she saw someone jump out of the FEAR (likely FEA) helicopter.
"Oh no, someone fell out of the helicopter! Oh my God!"
The female news anchor was a little afraid to watch such a tragic scene. Falling from a height of 300 meters onto a concrete road would be enough to turn a person into mincemeat.
But the person who landed was unharmed, and the female news anchor's jaw almost dropped in shock.
"This... this... how is this possible?"
Elrasha (Matilda May)
Chapter 162: Catch Me If You Can, and I'll Let You... You Know
Roy landed with all the grace of a sack of potatoes. It wasn't like he was trying to show off; he'd just never had any helicopter rappelling training, so he accidentally fell out of the chopper.
Luckily, his landing form was still pretty perfect, at least enough to save Roy from embarrassment.
Roy looked up at Elrêsa in the distance, and he was instantly mesmerized. Thankfully, his 46 points in Willpower kicked in and snapped him out of it.
Roy wondered if it was because he had the Domain of Desire, but he felt like his resistance to this kind of charm had gotten stronger.
Seeing Roy quickly break free from her charm, Elrêsa parted her red lips slightly, and a voice as beautiful as a nightingale came out.
"Are you a follower of Belial? I've finally found you!"
Roy: ???
So this is why this person came here? For me?
Could the King of Greed have sent someone to get revenge on me?
And they specifically mentioned being a follower of Belial!
"Who are you?"
"Heh! I am the daughter of Asmodeus, the King of Lust. I'm here on my mother's orders to avenge my sister, Adela. Are you ready to die?"
The daughter of the King of Lust? Then she must be a succubus.
Roy hadn't expected that Adela was the daughter of the King of Lust.
Could Adela becoming a cyber-succubus also have been a plot by the King of Lust?
This is a mess!
Just little old Los Angeles, and it's already become a gathering place for the forces of Mammon, Beelzebub, and Asmodeus.
If you add Roy, this follower of Belial, into the mix, it's a four-way free-for-all!
Feeling a bit speechless, he figured he should quickly find a way to deal with this female succubus in front of him to prevent things from getting even more chaotic.
After thinking it through, Roy crooked his finger at Elrêsa, beckoning her.
"If you want to kill me, then come and get me! Catch me, and I'll let you... you know!"
With that, Roy turned around and started running.
Even though he knew Gerald had cut the live feed and he was wearing a mask, there were still too many onlookers around. Roy didn't want to reveal his abilities, so he decided to find a suitable battlefield to fight Elrêsa.
So, where would be a good place for a fight?
Elrêsa watched Roy's retreating figure and frowned slightly. Then she controlled the mummified corpses to chase after him. Being a spellcasting type of demon, there was no way she'd charge in herself.
But the speed of the mummified corpses was nowhere near Roy's. Luckily, Roy was intentionally trying to lure Elrêsa to chase him, so he wasn't going too fast.
However, the eastern district of Los Angeles was mostly low-rise buildings, not exactly a great place for a fight.
After running for a while, Roy finally spotted a subway station entrance, so he immediately notified Gerald through his earpiece.
"Mr. Olin, I'm going to fight that woman inside the subway. Can you evacuate the station right away?"
Gerald replied to Roy.
"Yes, but it'll take some time!"
"Alright, I'll take care of these mummies first!"
Roy stopped running and turned around to face the mummified corpses chasing him.
He thought about just pulling out his chainsaw sword, but then that TV station helicopter flew right over Roy's head again.
And because Elrêsa was relatively far away, the helicopter pilot had even lowered their altitude, wanting to get a clearer shot with the camera.
At this rate, Roy's hairstyle was going to get messed up by the helicopter rotor.
Roy looked up and glared at the female news anchor in the helicopter. Suddenly, he realized she looked really familiar.
Wait a minute, isn't that Charlize Theron?
Charlize Theron playing a TV news anchor?
What movie is this from?
There was no time to think about it. The fastest of the mummified corpses were already about to reach Roy, so he had to pull out his cursed dual daggers first.
At least carrying a pair of daggers on him was more normal than carrying a chainsaw sword.
"Look at this, folks! The gentleman who jumped from 1000 feet in the air without a scratch has already started fighting the mummies! Good heavens, he's fast!"
Marianne Megan was really dedicated to her job, still diligently reporting even at a time like this.
But at this moment, Marianne heard a message from her boss in her earpiece.
"Producer, what did you say? The live feed has been cut for half an hour? Why are you only telling me now?"
Marianne was furious. So, she'd been talking for half an hour, practically talking herself hoarse, and none of it had been broadcast.
"The station was negotiating with the government earlier, hoping to resume broadcasting, but unfortunately, they failed. You need to evacuate immediately!"
Hearing the producer tell her to evacuate, Marianne was really unwilling. She'd finally landed such a huge story, and it had been cut off.
She looked up at the other TV station helicopters around them. Sure enough, they had all already left, so they must have received the message.
Now, besides the helicopter Marianne was in, all the other helicopters around were from FEAR.
"Producer, I've followed this story all the way here. Why not let me see it through to the end? Even if we can't broadcast it live, being able to record the whole thing would be great!"
The producer in her earpiece sounded really helpless.
"Recording it won't do any good. The feds will just confiscate all the footage afterwards anyway."
"No, I have to record this footage!"
With that, Marianne just ripped off her earpiece, no longer listening to the producer, and then ordered the cameraman and the helicopter pilot next to her.
"Mike, Little Fu, keep filming! Don't worry about the producer!"
By this time, Roy's fight had been going on for a while. Even though the cursed dual daggers in his hands weren't really suited for fighting groups, he had still taken down a lot of the mummified corpses.
But Elrêsa had created hundreds of mummified corpses, and Roy had only taken out a small fraction of them.
There was no other way. Roy had to pull out his Remington M870 to speed up clearing out these monsters.
This method worked pretty well. Because the mummified corpses had lost a lot of body fluid, their weight had dropped significantly, making them very vulnerable to kinetic damage.
With the shotgun, it was pretty much one shot, one kill. Sometimes, if he was lucky, he could even take down two with a single shot.
But after firing a few shots, Roy suddenly felt the world around him start to twist and distort. Strange colors filled his eyes, carrying a strong mental corruption.
He could also hear a sweet, seductive, breathy voice in his ear.
"Darling, come to me~"
Roy knew it was the daughter of the Queen of Lust making a move, but he looked around and couldn't find the woman.
Was she invisible, or was she casting from a distance?
Just as Roy was about to activate his Eye of Truth to see through all this, the TV station helicopter above him started spiraling downwards towards the ground like it had one too many drinks.
Turns out, the ability Elrêsa had just unleashed was an area-of-effect charm, so the TV station helicopter pilot, Mike, had also gotten hit because they were flying too low.
This sudden situation startled Roy. He didn't even have time to activate his Eye of Truth and just threw himself to the ground.
Then, the helicopter crashed diagonally right over Roy's head, tearing through the slower-reacting mummified corpses around him, turning them into pieces.
Luckily, these mummified corpses didn't have any moisture left in them, otherwise the scene would have been incredibly bloody, and Roy would have been covered in it.
Man!
But the crash did have some benefits. At least the helicopter caused Elrêsa to interrupt her magic, and Roy's vision returned to normal.
Marianne struggled to climb out of the helicopter. That news anchor was still conscious!
Unlike the black cameraman and the white helicopter pilot, who had both hit their heads badly and passed out.
"Help... me..."
Marianne reached out her hand to Roy, asking for help.
Roy didn't hesitate. He immediately rushed over to the helicopter, picked up Marianne, and then tucked the cameraman and the helicopter pilot under his arms.
"Hold onto my neck!"
Marianne barely managed to hold onto Roy's neck, which kept her from slipping down.
It was also at this moment that Gerald's voice came through the earpiece.
"The subway station has been evacuated. You can go in!"
"Got it!"
Roy, carrying the three people, continued to run like the wind towards the subway station entrance in the distance.
He hadn't run more than a few steps when the crashed helicopter behind them exploded, killing all the remaining mummified corpses that weren't quite dead yet.
After the explosion, a figure suddenly appeared next to the blast site. It was Elrêsa.
Elrêsa looked a bit upset. All the puppets she had created had been wiped out by a fluke, so she was naturally not in a good mood.
But Elrêsa quickly composed herself, turned invisible again, and followed Roy into the subway station.
"Cough, cough, cough! Sir, I feel like I'm going to throw up!"
Probably because she had just been in a helicopter crash and then carried on Roy's shoulder for a while, Marianne felt extremely nauseous, with an urge to... well, you know.
"You hold it in! If you dare throw up on me, I'll drop you right here!"
Marianne quickly covered her mouth, desperately trying to suppress the churning feeling in her stomach.
The subway was completely empty. Roy found an office, kicked down the door, and then tossed Marianne and the others inside.
"Stay in there and don't come out!"
Marianne suddenly became nervous.
"Sir, are you going to abandon me?"
"I still have to fight that woman. I can't take you with me! Just hide here, and I'll draw her away!"
With that, Roy closed the office door and then turned around, activating his Eye of Truth.
Roy didn't notice that after he left, Marianne also breathed a sigh of relief, then pulled out a videotape from her clothes and hid it in a corner of the office.
His dark golden pupils scanned the empty subway station, but he didn't see Elrêsa.
"Didn't she follow me? Or maybe..."
Just as he was wondering, that sweet, seductive, high-pitched voice echoed in Roy's ear again.
"Darling, are you looking for me?"
The voice was distant and echoing, making it impossible for Roy to pinpoint her location.
But Roy was sure the woman was nearby, he just couldn't see her.
The Eye of Truth could indeed see through illusions, but it couldn't see through walls.
If Elrêsa was hiding behind a wall right now, Roy wouldn't be able to see her.
After activating the Eye of Truth, Elrêsa's influence on Roy's vision seemed to have disappeared, but he still felt a bit dizzy.
"Daughter of Asmodeus, why are you afraid to show yourself and face me?"
Roy took a few steps forward, searching everywhere for Elrêsa's location.
Succubi are usually skilled in mental magic, but they're relatively weak in close combat. If Roy could just find Elrêsa's real body, he could easily take her down.
"I'm right here. Come find me~"
"Didn't we just agree? If you found me, I'd let you... you know!"
"Do you really mean it?"
Elrêsa's voice revealed a hint of surprise, like a girlfriend receiving a gift from her boyfriend.
"Of course I'm serious. Show yourself now, and I'll let you... you know, right away!"
Suddenly, Elrêsa's voice appeared right behind Roy. Just as Roy was about to turn around, she placed her hand on his back.
"Alright, I'll let you... you know, right now!"
In an instant, Roy realized everything around him had changed. It was no longer the empty subway station, but a magnificent, golden palace.
Unlike Adela's mental palace, this palace was even larger and brighter, and he could clearly see all sorts of gorgeous decorations inside.
Roy looked around at the situation in surprise. His Eye of Truth hadn't deactivated, which meant all of this wasn't an illusion.
So the question was, if it wasn't an illusion, then where was he?
"Darling, enjoy this endless bliss!"
Elrêsa's voice came from all directions, making Roy feel like he was completely surrounded.
Just as he was wondering, countless beautiful, naked women with perfect figures emerged from the floor and pounced on Roy.
Roy, a righteous gentleman who wouldn't be swayed by beauty (in his own opinion), naturally didn't want these women to ruin his reputation for chastity. But just as he was about to fight back, he realized his physical abilities felt like they had returned to that of an ordinary person.
How is this possible?
Having lost his superhuman physical attributes, Roy was instantly tackled to the ground by the group of women, and then came the inhumane... you know.
Weak, pitiful, helpless!
That's exactly how Roy felt right now, being frantically used like a rocking horse by a group of women as beautiful as movie stars.
But hey, the daughter of Asmodeus's way of getting revenge actually lets her enemies have a good time before they die. How nice of her!
But soon, Roy felt that something was wrong. He could feel something being sucked away by Elrêsa.
If he didn't do something, Roy might end up like those mummified corpses!
Domain of Fear, activate!
Fortunately, while Roy's physical attributes seemed to have disappeared, his mental attributes were still normal, so the Domain of Fear successfully activated.
The magnificent golden palace seemed to violently shake at this moment, and then Roy heard Elrêsa's scream.
Whoa! Could this be Elrêsa's world of consciousness?
Having thought of this possibility, Roy quickly struggled to free himself from the women entangling him.
Luckily, these women were also affected by the Domain of Fear. One by one, their eyes rolled back and they lost control, so Roy managed to crawl out.
That was too close! In just a few minutes, Roy had almost lost his virginity several times.
But the Domain of Fear wouldn't be able to control Elrêsa for long. She was clearly different from ordinary demons and had a very high level of skill in magic. He figured she'd break free from the Domain of Fear's influence soon.
He had to escape this world of consciousness right now!
Chapter 163: Daddy, Hungry, Food!
Roy first tried to use the Renegade's ability to transform into his demon form, but as expected, it failed.
The demon form is almost entirely a physical transformation, and it seemed ineffective in this space of consciousness.
Or perhaps Roy's current sanity was too high, preventing him from influencing his physical body through his consciousness like last time when his sanity had collapsed, and then having the physical state feed back into his consciousness.
In that case, he could only try his angel form!
A beam of holy light descended from the sky, and Roy successfully transformed into his angel form.
White hair, silver eyes, and a face so rational it lacked any expression.
Bathed in the holy light, the women around him instantly began to rapidly dissolve, even faster than snow melting under the sun.
The palace shook even more violently, as if a magnitude ten earthquake had struck. Even Ellreresha's voice trembled.
"How can you be an angel? This is impossible! Ah—!"
Ellreresha let out a piercing scream, her voice losing its former beautiful and pleasant quality.
This succubus, due to a lack of information, had thought Roy was just a powerful Belial subordinate. So, she pulled him into her world of consciousness, intending to kill him through mental attacks.
This strategy was indeed very effective against ordinary demons. Unfortunately for her, Roy wasn't a demon, but a Nephilim.
What was the concept of Ellreresha directly pulling an angel into her consciousness space?
It was like when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor during World War II, taking the "Little Boy" back to Tokyo as a trophy, and then detonating it right there in Tokyo.
Ellreresha was in immense pain, but while it was easy for her to pull Roy in, whether she could send him away depended on whether Roy was willing.
At this moment, Roy was unleashing holy light in Ellreresha's consciousness world. It was all true damage, and he didn't even need to do anything else to make her wish she were dead.
"Face the holy light!"
Roy fully unleashed the holy light ability of his angel form. After obtaining his second pair of wings, he also unlocked a new aura after the Aura of Courage: the Guardian Aura. This aura seemed to protect Roy from dark creatures.
But using this aura now was really making Ellreresha suffer, especially since Roy was right inside her consciousness space.
Finally, under the double torment of the holy light and the Guardian Aura, the magnificent and resplendent palace could no longer withstand the power of the holy light and began to show signs of collapse.
This also meant that Ellreresha's world of consciousness was starting to shatter.
Everything went black!
When he opened his eyes again, Roy found himself back in the subway station.
Having become an angel in Ellreresha's world of consciousness, Roy was also in his angel form in the real world. As for Ellreresha, she was behind Roy, lying on the ground with her eyes rolled back.
Could she be brain dead?
Theoretically, if a person's spirit is completely destroyed, it could lead to brain death.
However, although Ellreresha's physical condition was average, she was still a demon, so she shouldn't die so easily.
Out of caution, Roy didn't revert to his human form but first checked on Ellreresha.
\[Detected special character Ellreresha. You can absorb the power of fate to obtain rewards!\]
Ellreresha was indeed still alive, so she was probably just unconscious.
Perfect, Gerald wanted Roy to capture this guy alive, and now was a good opportunity.
Roy returned to his human form and was about to pick up Ellreresha when she suddenly opened her eyes and looked at him with an innocent and naive gaze.
"Daddy!"
Roy: ???
Wait, how did the seniority suddenly jump up like that?
Roy looked at Ellreresha in shock and quickly took a few steps back.
"Y-you, what did you call me?"
"Hehe, Daddy!"
Roy tried to calm down. Could this succubus be trying to pull some trick again?
It was really too vulgar!
Roy hated playing on familial relationships the most!
So, Roy grabbed Ellreresha by the neck.
"Daddy, it hurts!"
"Stop pretending, succubus! You won't deceive me!"
Roy's eyes turned silver, and he directly used the Eyes of Judgment and the Fear Domain, wanting to make the succubus reveal her true colors.
What surprised Roy greatly was that, according to the Eyes of Judgment, the sins on Ellreresha's body had disappeared.
Could it be that the succubus's consciousness had been completely destroyed by the power of the holy light, and the succubus before him was just a blank slate with a few remaining memories and instincts?
Looking at Ellreresha's tearful expression, Roy still chose to let go.
As a result, the moment Roy let go, Ellreresha hugged his thigh tightly and wouldn't let go, constantly calling him Daddy, Daddy.
Roy started to get a headache.
Could it be that demons are like birds, imprinting on the first thing they see when they open their eyes and considering it their parent?
This was too outrageous!
Suddenly having an extra daughter left Roy at a loss for what to do.
If he followed his previous agreement with Gerald, then handing over this whitewashed succubus to him would be just right.
But now, looking at Ellreresha's pure eyes, Roy didn't really want to do that.
What good could come of entering the FEA's lab?
Just as he was hesitating, Roy heard a clear, cold voice.
"Huh? Have you already finished the fight?"
Iris appeared in the subway station at some point, her eyes covered by a black veil fixed on Roy and Ellreresha.
Roy felt a little awkward because his current posture with Ellreresha wasn't very proper, especially since she was stark naked.
"Um, Ms. Iris, the situation is a bit complicated right now!"
"A succubus? And a pure one at that? Where did this succubus come from?"
Iris didn't seem to care whether Ellreresha was wearing clothes or not. After all, in the Bible, no one wore clothes in the Garden of Eden.
It was a certain serpent that tempted Eve and Adam to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, and only then did they feel shame and start wearing clothes.
"Well, I just fought this succubus in her world of consciousness, and in the end, I destroyed her world of consciousness, and she became like this."
Iris nodded in understanding.
"I see."
After saying this, Iris turned around to leave.
This situation surprised Roy greatly.
"Wait! Ms. Iris, aren't you going to deal with this demon?"
Iris stopped and looked at Roy.
"This demon's past sinful soul has died. The current her is just a pure newborn, without any sin. I will not attack a sinless being. That kind of behavior is no different from a demon."
So that's how it is...
Maybe angels also have a system of justice points. Killing sinners strengthens them, while killing the sinless damages them.
Back in the private club, although Isabella was injured by a girl, she only knocked her unconscious and didn't kill her. That might have been the reason.
Roy began to be glad that he hadn't randomly killed anyone after obtaining angel blood, otherwise, he didn't know what might have happened.
But now a problem had also arisen. If Ellreresha couldn't be killed, did he really have to hand her over to Gerald?
Looking down at the succubus who was hugging his leg, rubbing against him, and sniffing him, Roy started to get a headache.
"Ms. Iris, do you have any suggestions?"
This time, the white-robed nun didn't stop.
"I have no suggestions, but pure succubi are very rare. Only succubi born outside of hell and baptized by holy light can be so pure. I hope you can educate her well."
Since the white-robed nun said so, it was probably better to keep Ellreresha.
But how to settle her was another problem. The current Ellreresha was just like a child, and Roy had never had any experience taking care of children. The most he had done was hold a baby.
Wait, didn't he have an experienced mother figure by his side?
Roy's eyes darted around, and he immediately took out his phone and dialed a number.
While Roy was on the phone, he didn't notice that the door to the subway office in the distance quietly opened a crack.
An hour later, FEAR's forces entered the subway station. Gerald personally led the team and saw an unusually disheveled Roy.
"Mr. Black, where did that guy go?"
Roy gave a wry smile.
"I had a fierce battle with her, and in the end, that guy ran away."
Gerald's eyes almost popped out of his head.
"What? She ran away?"
Gerald clearly couldn't accept this. After all, FEA had lost more than a dozen agents, Amalgamated Tech had also lost more than a dozen researchers, and it had caused riots in East Los Angeles, resulting in at least thousands of casualties.
Such a big incident, if they didn't find something to make up for it, Gerald's position would be in jeopardy.
Hmm, such a big black pot, even if someone had to take the blame, it had to be someone with enough weight.
"Yes, that guy escaped back to hell."
Gerald's face changed colors, looking very unpleasant.
After a long while, Gerald finally showed a wry smile.
"How did things develop like this?"
"Mr. Orrin, during the battle, I obtained some information. That woman is the daughter of the King of Lust."
Roy didn't reveal Ellreresha's true state, not wanting to take the blame.
Hearing this, Gerald's expression became as disgusting as if he had swallowed a fly.
"Damn it! Another hell lord, that's the third one already! Can't these guys just settle down a bit?"
After cursing for a while, Gerald still managed to control his emotions.
"Mr. Black, I still need to thank you for your assistance. I will pay you the agreed-upon fee, but you'll have to wait a few days."
"It's okay, then I'll head back first. I'm feeling very unwell."
Roy actually wasn't injured at all, but he deliberately acted as if he was mentally traumatized, similar to the succubus incident.
Gerald didn't think much of it and nodded, letting Roy leave first. He would be very busy next, and he didn't have time to worry about Roy.
"Oh right, Mr. Orrin, there are three people rescued from the crashed helicopter in that office. They might need emergency medical attention."
"I understand, I'll arrange for someone!"
Gerald waved his hand, then looked at the subway tunnel with a worried frown.
Leaving the subway station and out of the sight of the FEA agents, Roy instantly went from looking like he was on his last breath to being full of energy.
At this moment, Roy's phone suddenly rang.
He took it out and saw it was Dahlia's number.
Could something have happened to Ellreresha?
That shouldn't be the case! That was a demon Iris had checked and said was fine!
"Hello, Dahlia, is something wrong?"
"Roy, you'd better come to the apartment to take a look. The woman you asked me to take care of is constantly crying and looking for you."
Black lines appeared on Roy's forehead.
This apartment was the same one Dahlia had lived in before.
Roy definitely couldn't take Ellreresha back to the Dolphin Hotel, so he decided to put her in Dahlia's apartment first and have her watch over her for a while.
Beelzebub's cult had been purged by Iris, so presumably, they wouldn't be able to retaliate against Dahlia for a while.
"Can't you coax her?"
"Uh, Roy, I've coaxed babies before, but I've never coaxed a baby this big! Do you want me to pick this woman up and sing her a lullaby?"
Roy imagined the scene in his head and was immediately speechless.
Indeed, Dahlia always picked up Cici to coax her, and Ellreresha was only a few centimeters shorter than Dahlia, so picking her up was definitely impossible.
"Hold on, I'll go to your apartment right away."
After thinking about it, Roy decided to go to Dahlia's apartment to avoid any trouble.
Dahlia on the other end of the phone breathed a sigh of relief.
"Roy, hurry up, I can barely hold on anymore!"
"I'll be there soon!"
Roy hung up the phone and then ran towards Dahlia's apartment.
Dahlia's apartment was located in the eastern part of downtown, where the security was relatively better, and the rent wasn't cheap either.
Because of the commotion in the eastern district, almost everyone in the downtown area had closed their doors and hid at home, so there were hardly any people on the streets.
The City of Angels seemed to have lost its prosperity and liveliness overnight.
Arriving at Dahlia's apartment, Roy knocked on the door. The door that had been broken by the two policemen earlier had already been repaired.
Dahlia cautiously looked through the peephole to check who was knocking. Only when she saw it was Roy did she open the door.
"Dahlia, how's the situation?"
Dahlia looked helplessly at Ellreresha rolling around on the floor.
"She keeps saying she's hungry, but she won't eat the food I made for her, and she won't drink the milk I offered her. I don't know what else to do."
Hmm? Hungry?
Just as he was thinking this, Ellreresha saw Roy come in. Like a baby who had just learned to crawl, she quickly crawled towards Roy and hugged his leg.
"Daddy, hungry, food!"
Roy's face darkened. This scene always made him very awkward, especially since Dahlia was looking at him with a strange expression right now.
"Let go, let go quickly!"
After finally getting Ellreresha to let go, Roy sat on the sofa and looked at her.
"What exactly do you want to eat?"
Ellreresha looked at Roy curiously, seeming not to understand what he was saying.
"Roy, her current situation is very similar to a child who has just started learning to speak, so if you say sentences that are too long, she won't understand."
There was such a thing?
Roy had no choice but to use both gestures and words to ask Ellreresha, looking quite like he was teaching a child to speak.
"You... want... to... eat... what?"
This time, Ellreresha finally understood, and then Roy saw her suddenly pounce towards Roy's crotch.
Dahlia's expression instantly became even stranger.
"Wait a minute, Dahlia, let me explain!"
Ellreresha (Mathilda May)
