"You mean this coven is going to find Emma pretty soon?"
Because of Lilith, Roy instinctively didn't have a good feeling about this so-called coven.
"Yes, with the prophecy crystal ball, the coven can easily track down newly awakened witches. It doesn't matter where you hide Emma!"
This was turning out to be quite a pain, and Roy frowned deeply.
"Screw the coven, or any other organization for that matter. As long as I don't agree, no one's taking Emma away!"
Lilith shook her head.
"It's not that simple. I'm worried the coven might use the government to pressure you!"
The coven had deep ties with the American government. If they used administrative power to mess with Roy, it could indeed be a bit troublesome.
But it would only be a bit troublesome; it wasn't a huge problem.
"Humph! There's always a way! It's not like I don't have any connections either!"
With the FEA backing him, Roy had the confidence to say that.
As he said that, Roy prepared to say goodbye to Lilith.
"Hmm~ Are you leaving already? Jennifer and I both miss you!"
Lilith's eyes welled up with tears, giving off a pitiful vibe, like a little wife abandoned by her husband.
Roy glanced sideways at Lilith, a strange smile on his face.
"Is it you who misses me, or Jennifer?"
Lilith hugged Roy, her curvaceous body rubbing against him.
"Can't it be both of us?"
It was probably Lilith, that little minx, who couldn't hold back. Jennifer was rarely the one to initiate things.
"Here? Isn't that a bit inappropriate?"
Roy's expression became even more peculiar. Messing around like this in Nedy's house was too impolite, especially since Nedy's room was right next door.
"Then let's go to Jennifer's place!"
Since the last Elm Street incident, Jennifer had tidied up her house a bit. She usually used it as a place for her and her girlfriends to hang out, so it wasn't as messy as before.
Lilith pushed open the window and then floated lightly with Roy towards the house across the street.
Nedy and Emma were in the next room and didn't notice what was happening outside the window.
At this moment, Nedy was applying medicine to Emma. Otherwise, Emma wouldn't be able to sit down, let alone walk, for the next few days.
Nedy pouted, feeling a little sorry for Emma's injuries.
"How could Roy hit her so hard? It's really too much."
Emma, hearing Nedy's complaint, surprisingly spoke up for Roy.
"Nedy, I really deserved it this time."
"That doesn't mean he should have hit you like that! You won't be able to walk normally for at least three days, and you can't sit down for a week. You can only lie on your stomach!"
Emma shook her head.
"This little bit of pain is nothing compared to the sins I've committed in the past. It's far from enough to atone for them."
Nedy looked at Emma in surprise. She hadn't expected Roy's two beatings to actually set Emma straight.
In the past, although Emma was always impeccable in terms of etiquette, expression, and tone, she gave people a sense of aloofness, keeping them at arm's length.
But the current Emma seemed much more real.
However, it wasn't really Roy's two beatings that had such a good effect. It was that after the Leviathan demon bloodline was sealed, Emma's thinking was no longer disturbed.
Emma's intelligence was originally very high, in the range of a gifted child. After her thinking returned to normal, she naturally had a complete awakening.
"I see. If you can understand your mistakes, then those two beatings weren't for nothing."
"Nedy, can you tell me about Roy?"
"Sure, what do you want to know?"
While Nedy was chatting with Emma, the battle between Roy and Lilith across the street was getting intense.
"Roy, to prevent the coven from discovering my existence, I'll be going into a deep sleep for a while. Oh!"
Roy frowned and gave a thrust.
"Is your daughter really that scary? Do you have to be this careful?"
"Ah! That bitch absorbed most of my power. You tell me if she's厉害 (lìhai - awesome/powerful)! Who knows if she's mastered new powers over the past few thousand years. It's best to be cautious."
This was the first time Roy had heard a mother call her own daughter a bitch. He wondered if there were any other issues between these two.
Roy didn't think Lilith's daughter was really that厉害 (lìhai). At least, she probably couldn't beat an archangel.
Otherwise, why was there no news of the Supreme Witch? She even had to cooperate with the American government.
Truly powerful organizations like the Wood House and the Ama'ar Chum were bold enough to directly cause trouble in front of the American government.
However, seeing Lilith's serious expression, Roy didn't refute her.
Lilith's daughter had probably become her inner demon.
"So?"
Lilith leaned close to Roy's ear and answered him in a suppressed voice.
"So you have to feed me first! Ouch!"
Roy smacked her backside hard.
"No problem!"
Jennifer's witch talent was very special. As long as her physical and magical energy weren't depleted, she was practically immortal. She could also turn pain into pleasure, making her a natural-born masochist.
Using this talent for that kind of fun was a waste. In reality, Lilith had taught Jennifer a lot of terrifying black magic, allowing her to fully utilize her talent.
But when fighting Roy, this talent could occasionally come in handy, just like now.
"No! Don't stop! Use the same force you used to hit Emma during the day on me! Hurry!"
For a moment, the room was filled with the sound of intense slapping.
After who knows how long, Roy suddenly felt a change in Lilith. Although her skin was still flushed, her aura had changed.
Roy stopped and tentatively asked, "Jennifer?"
"Mmm~ It's me!"
"Where's Lilith?"
"She seems to have passed out from pleasure, so I'm controlling the body now."
She could even pass out? That was too outrageous!
Then Roy saw Jennifer bite her lip, her eyes watery.
"Roy, I like this too. Keep going!"
Helpless, Roy could only continue practicing his "hand drumming."
He had to slap and control the rhythm at the same time, a double-tasking operation that required considerable skill.
The demand for a sense of rhythm was also very high. Most people would easily get flustered.
Fortunately, Roy was also quite talented in rhythm. After all, boxing also required a high degree of physical coordination.
And so, Jennifer soared to cloud nine in the rhythm of "dong ci da ci, dong ci da ci."
Looking at Jennifer with her eyes rolled back, Roy scratched his head.
What was he going to do? He had to transform to fly, but transforming would be too conspicuous.
Could he just leave Jennifer here? What would happen later when Nedy went to look for Jennifer and found her missing?
Seeing that Jennifer didn't seem like she would wake up anytime soon, Roy had no choice but to call Nedy to explain the situation and then slip away.
Emma would temporarily stay at Nedy's house for a few days. After all, the little girl was injured so badly that it was very inconvenient for her to live alone, and Roy, as a man, wasn't suitable to take care of her.
The next day was Sunday, a day off.
Ashley was in a bad mood lately and stayed in bed, not wanting to get up.
Samantha had officially started working as a police officer in Waterfall Town. Police officers naturally didn't have weekends off; it was usually a rotating schedule.
And Samantha, having just started, obviously hadn't reached the point of rotating shifts yet.
So, today Ashley had to stay home and take care of her younger brother Mike. This was a task she usually hated.
However, recently Ashley's relationship with her mother Samantha and younger brother Mike had improved. It was probably because they had gone through some terrifying events together, making her realize the preciousness of family.
Oh, and there was also a certain woman who liked watching cartoons and had a better figure than her.
"Giggle, giggle..."
Early in the morning, Ashley heard Elrohir downstairs watching cartoons, laughing while she watched. Even her younger brother Mike wasn't that childish.
Okay, Mike wasn't childish, but he really liked studying spiders. Ashley would rather he be a little more childish.
Thinking of Elrohir, Ashley couldn't help but recall the shocking scene she had accidentally witnessed that day. As soon as she closed her eyes, she could almost see that baton in front of her.
This made Ashley's cheeks flush. She suddenly covered her face and burrowed into her blanket, wriggling around, trying to forget that image.
However, sometimes, the more you try to forget something, the more vivid the impression becomes.
So Ashley could only vent her shyness and annoyance on the pillow, muttering to herself.
"Damn Roy! You two-timing jerk! I'll beat you to death..."
Just as Ashley was punching and kicking her pillow, there was a sudden knock on the door, startling her.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Mike!"
A few minutes later, Ashley got dressed and opened the door.
"Mike, what's wrong?"
"Sis, I found something weird in the attic!"
"Something weird? Let me see."
The house the Parker family now lived in was fully furnished. The previous owner had basically left everything behind, so there were a lot of things left over.
So, Mike, bored, went to explore the attic and found a strange wooden box.
The siblings went to the attic and saw the wooden box Mike was talking about.
"This is it! I can't open it no matter what I do!"
Ashley examined the wooden box her brother was talking about.
The box was rectangular overall, with a line of text Ashley didn't recognize written on the top. It was completely sealed, with no place to open it.
"Sis, this wooden box is so weird. It feels like there's something inside, but I can't open it."
Hearing this, Ashley picked up the wooden box and shook it. Sure enough, she heard something inside.
"There is something inside. Could there be some kind of mechanism?"
Ashley kept feeling around the wooden box and accidentally pressed a mechanism, and the wooden box instantly sprang open.
Both siblings were startled.
But there didn't seem to be anything special inside the wooden box, just some strange metal objects, a moth that had long since dried up, a wooden horse toy, a human tooth, and an old ring.
"I thought there'd be some kind of treasure, but is this all?"
Mike was clearly a little disappointed. As a child, he probably thought he had discovered some treasured valuables.
Ashley picked up the old ring and examined it carefully in her hand. She inexplicably felt that this ring was very beautiful.
Carelessly, Ashley's other hand pressed against a splinter in the wooden box, and blood immediately flowed out.
"Ouch!"
"Sis, are you okay?"
Mike saw his sister get hurt and showed his concern.
"Go get the first-aid kit!"
"I'll go right away!"
Ashley covered her finger, completely unaware that some blood had spilled onto the ring and seeped into it without leaving any trace.
After a while, Mike brought the first-aid kit and helped his sister bandage her wound.
"This wooden box isn't anything special to look at. Let's put it away."
Although she said the wooden box wasn't anything special, Ashley took the wooden box back to her room.
Mike didn't understand why his sister had changed so much, shrugged, and continued exploring the attic.
Soon, it was evening.
Because Samantha was a single mother with two children to take care of, she usually didn't work overtime.
"I'm home, kids!"
Samantha greeted her family after returning home.
Elrohir was still watching cartoons in the living room, and Mike heard his mother's voice and ran downstairs.
"Mom, you're back!"
"Mike, how was your day at home? Did you finish your homework?"
"Homework was done a long time ago. It was just a little boring."
Probably because he couldn't continue to keep his spider friends company, Mike seemed a bit listless.
"Where's Ashley?"
"Sis has been locked in her room since morning. She didn't even come out for lunch."
Hearing this, Samantha frowned slightly, but didn't think too much about it.
"Maybe she's just not in a good mood?"
At least she hadn't sneaked out to hang out with bad boy ghosts. Samantha could still accept Ashley's current situation.
"I'm going to make dinner now. Go call Ashley down."
"Okay, Mom!"
Dinner was made very quickly. The Parker family started eating, just some simple home-cooked dishes.
During the meal, Samantha noticed that Ashley's mental state was strange. She seemed to be in a daze, eating completely mechanically.
"Ashley, what's wrong? Did something happen at school?"
As a mother, Samantha was concerned about Ashley's situation, but Ashley didn't react at all. Samantha didn't know if she hadn't heard her at all, or if her rebellious streak had resurfaced and she was pretending not to hear anything.
So Samantha patted Ashley's hand. That's when she noticed Ashley was wearing a strange ring on her hand. Samantha had never seen this ring before.
"Ashley, this ring..."
Samantha just wanted to touch the ring when Ashley slapped her hand away fiercely.
At the same time, Ashley glared at Samantha fiercely, the vicious look startling Samantha.
Even during Ashley's most rebellious phase, she had never looked at her with such eyes. This made Samantha both angry and heartbroken.
"Ashley Parker! What kind of look is that?!"
Without hesitation, Ashley picked up her fork and stabbed it towards Samantha's hand. Fortunately, Samantha reacted quickly, otherwise she would have been injured.
But seeing the fork deeply embedded in the table made it even more unacceptable for Samantha.
"Ashley!"
But Ashley ignored Samantha and ran upstairs.

Chapter 191: Night Queen Aria
Silence fell over the dining table for a moment, broken only by Ellureesa's laughter drifting from the living room.
Samantha's eyes were red-rimmed, unable to understand why her daughter would treat her this way.
Parker, too, looked completely startled. The recent events had deeply shaken his young heart.
Young Mikey didn't connect Ashley's change with the wooden box from earlier that morning.
After all, Ashley had always been a bit rebellious, so Mikey just figured his sister was acting out again.
"Mom..."
Samantha wiped her eyes, not wanting her son to see her vulnerable side.
"Parker, Mommy's okay! You keep eating, and I'll clean up later."
Feeling awful, Samantha lost her appetite and went back to her room to lie down on the bed.
At that moment, Samantha desperately wanted someone to confide in about what she was going through. A young man's face quickly appeared in her mind.
Why did she always think of this boy?
Actually, since starting work at the police station in Waterfall Town these past couple of days, Samantha had been quite popular.
After all, the small-town police station was like a church – it was rare to see a normal woman there, let alone one as good-looking and well-figured as Samantha.
So, quite a few of the still-single, middle-aged cops had tried to flirt with Samantha, but she always gave them the cold shoulder.
After a moment's hesitation, Samantha picked up her phone and dialed that number.
Roy, who answered the phone, was completely bewildered. He hadn't expected Samantha to call him to pour her heart out.
When had he become everyone's go-to guy for ladies' problems?
Okay, fine, Roy was indeed very good at solving women's physical problems, but only with attractive women. He definitely wasn't into "driving tanks" (a more crude way of saying he wasn't interested in older, less attractive women).
However, after listening to Samantha, Roy also felt like something was off with Ashley.
This couldn't be explained away by teenage rebellion anymore. Could it be that his actions that day had caused Ashley to develop psychological issues?
If that was the case, then Samantha was right to call him.
"Samantha, don't be upset. There might be more to this than meets the eye! How about this: I'll have a good talk with Ashley tomorrow!"
"Thank you so much, Roy."
Hanging up the phone, Samantha felt a lot better. It really did help to talk things out.
But Roy, the one who had been confided in, was now frowning deeply.
"Roy, what happened? Why do you look like that?"
It was Needy who spoke. Because Roy had complained to her about how empty and lonely his house felt, Needy had specifically brought Jennifer over to hang out.
They had all had dinner together tonight, which Needy and Jennifer had made.
Well, mostly Jennifer had done the cooking.
Don't let Jennifer's usual cold and aloof demeanor at school, like some untouchable ice queen, fool you. Her cooking skills were actually excellent.
There wasn't much choice, really. Jennifer's foster parents were drug addicts, and once they were high, they wouldn't remember to feed Jennifer.
So, Jennifer had started cooking for herself very early on. Plus, she had some experience working in fast food restaurants, so she was quite skilled at making things like burgers or Mexican wraps.
On the other hand, Needy looked delicate and gentle but had absolutely no cooking experience. Her parents had taken such good care of her; she was a typical homebody.
Roy was currently having dinner with Needy and Jennifer. The three of them sat together like a family, even feeding each other bites.
"That was Samantha on the phone. It was about Ashley."
Hearing Ashley's name, Jennifer looked a bit unhappy.
"That girl again? What kind of trouble is she causing now?"
It might actually have something to do with moths (a possible play on words or idiom in the original Chinese).
"I'm not sure, but according to Samantha, it sounds like Ashley's emotions are all over the place again. Needy, you said you talked to Ashley. How did that go?"
Needy frowned slightly.
"After I talked to Ashley, she seemed pretty normal, and her emotions seemed quite stable. But these past few days, Ashley has been hanging out with Carly and Peggy. Maybe they know something."
As a rebellious teenager, Ashley naturally didn't have much in common with a good student like Needy. After meeting Carly and Peggy, she quickly found her group. The three rebellious girls had been together constantly these past few days.
Hearing this, Jennifer immediately picked up her phone.
"Then I'll call Carly and ask."
Carly was a cheerleader, and Jennifer used to be the cheerleading captain. Carly had always been a little scared of Jennifer.
"Hey, Carly, it's Jennifer."
As soon as the call connected, Jennifer could hear loud disco music. It seemed some people had already started their nightlife.
"Jennifer? What made you think of calling me? Hold on, it's too loud here. Let me go somewhere else to talk!"
After a while, the noise on the other end of the phone finally died down a bit.
"Jennifer, what's up?"
"Carly, I need to talk to you about Ashley."
"Ashley? What about Ashley?"
"Has Ashley been acting weird these past few days?"
"Weird? Yeah, she actually turned down mine and Peggy's meticulously planned girls' night out at the bar tonight! That's totally outrageous!"
Carly's words left Jennifer speechless. Going to a bar with Carly and Peggy was probably the problem.
"Carly, you're not even 21 yet! You can't get into a bar!"
"Uh, I didn't go into a bar. You must have misheard me. Hiccup—"
Carly on the other end of the phone let out a big burp and then hung up.
Jennifer put down her phone and shrugged at Roy.
"You heard it too. Carly and Peggy probably don't know anything either."
Roy and Needy exchanged glances.
"That's strange. From what I know, even though Ashley can be a bit rebellious, she usually knows right from wrong. How could she suddenly change like this?"
Needy took Roy's hand.
"We'll find out tomorrow when we ask Ashley. There's no use thinking about it so much now."
"You're right! By the way, why don't you two just stay at my place tonight? Otherwise, I won't be able to sleep alone!"
Needy quickly pulled her hand back, her cheeks flushing.
"I, I can't! I still need to go home and put medicine on Emma tonight. Just let Jennifer stay with you!"
Roy looked at Needy a little strangely. Their relationship was so close to the point of being official, practically just a thin veil away, and he couldn't understand why Needy was still so shy.
At this moment, Jennifer helped Needy explain.
"Hehe! Roy, you don't know, Needy is very sentimental about these things. She wants to give herself to you on a special day! She was originally planning to, uh, uh, uh... on her birthday..."
"Ah—Jennifer, you're not allowed to say!"
Embarrassed and indignant, Needy jumped up and covered Jennifer's mouth to stop her from talking.
However, Needy's physical abilities were no match for Jennifer's. Although her momentary embarrassment allowed her to briefly subdue Jennifer, Jennifer quickly broke free.
"She said she wants to wait until your birthday to give herself to you!"
To this, Needy could only let out a scream to try and drown out Jennifer's voice, but it was clearly futile.
So that's how it was. Needy's reaction on her birthday had indeed been a bit strange, but the Night Demon incident had prevented Needy's wish from coming true.
The original owner's birthday seemed to be in June, and it was already the end of March, so the time wasn't too far off.
Roy raised an eyebrow and then gave a mischievous smile.
"So that's it, huh? I'm really looking forward to that day."
Steam seemed to rise from Needy's head, as if she was so embarrassed she could boil water.
"Ugh! I'm not talking to you guys anymore! I'm going home!"
With that, Needy ran out of Roy's house.
Roy and Jennifer looked at each other and smiled. Teasing Needy was a shared hobby of theirs.
"So, Ms. Morgan, what are you planning to do?"
Jennifer bit her lip lightly as she looked at Roy, a dreamy expression on her face. Even though they hadn't had any wine with dinner, she seemed a little tipsy.
"Hmm—I'd like to dance, if that's okay?"
Roy snapped his fingers.
"No problem!"
Roy had a sound system at home, the same one he'd used to play the AC/DC record when he first transmigrated. But this time, the music wasn't heavy metal rock; it was beautiful classical music.
Although Roy didn't actually know how to dance, he still offered his hand to Jennifer.
Anyway, Jennifer didn't really want to dance; she just wanted an excuse to hold Roy.
"Madam, shall we?"
"Ouch! You stepped on my foot!"
"Sorry, I actually don't know how to dance."
"Hmm~ Then let's skip that part!"
"Is that okay?"
"I feel like if you step on me twice more, I'm going to get flat feet!"
"Then let's do it!"
To the tune of beautiful classical music, clothes began to fly around the living room.
Soon, a high and melodious soprano voice drowned out the classical music, but this was just the beginning.
Roy had never known that Jennifer had such a talent for coloratura singing. The rapid and high-pitched short notes were captivating.
It was just like the Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, with its dramatic ups and downs.
Bathed in the sounds of classical music and the soprano's coloratura, Roy felt like his whole being was elevated.
But Roy wasn't the only one elevated. Jennifer experienced a spiritual elevation, as if she had ascended to heaven and was looking down at the entire earth.
As the song finished, Jennifer lay sprawled on the sofa, still a little dazed.
"Has Lilith fallen into a deep sleep?"
Hearing this, Jennifer nodded.
"Lilith's instructions were not to wake her unless it's something important, and to wait until the Witch Council's business is over before calling her."
Roy felt a bit of regret. When it came to physical activity, Lilith was definitely more skilled.
Especially when Lilith wore Jennifer's face, it always gave Roy a special kind of feeling.
Jennifer held the remote control.
"Tsk tsk, are you already missing her so quickly?"
"What? Are you jealous?"
"Not really. I just don't like it when you're thinking about other women while you're with me."
Jennifer's hand began to move restlessly, and soon the sleeping lion perked up.
"Including Needy?"
Jennifer paused for a moment.
"Uh, Needy is an exception."
"That's perfect then. Let's think about Needy together!"
These words were like opening the floodgates, causing Jennifer to experience strange emotions.
Just as Roy and Jennifer were in the middle of a fierce rematch, Ashley was in her own room, murmuring to the ring in her hand.
"Will doing this really win Roy's heart?"
Then, another deep voice came from Ashley's mouth.
"Yes, as long as you listen to me!"
"I will listen to you! As long as you can help me get Roy's heart!"
The next day was Monday, another school day.
Carly and Peggy, just like the past few days, drove up to Ashley's house in their convertible to pick her up.
They honked the horn, and Ashley came out of the house.
Today, Ashley was still wearing her school uniform, but the shirt had been drastically altered. It looked a bit like the uniform Britney Spears wore in her debut song "Baby One More Time," revealing her sexy and alluring lower abdomen.
(Image of the music video)
She also had heavy makeup on, making her look even more mature and seductive.
Carly and Peggy exchanged a look, a bit incredulous.
Actually, these two had long wanted to dress like Ashley. They were sure it would make all the virgins at school stand at attention.
The problem was that the school rules at Oak High were quite strict, and the only outcome of dressing like that would be getting called into the principal's office, followed by a beating at home.
Peggy looked at Ashley strangely.
"Um, Ashley, are you planning to go to school dressed like that?"
"What's wrong with it?"
Ashley got into the car. Due to her improper sitting posture, the red bra under her shirt was revealed, showcasing impressive potential.
At least, Carly and Peggy couldn't compare at all.
The two girls looked at their own potential and then at Ashley's, and immediately lost any desire to continue trying to dissuade her.
This was the slow, plastic kind of sisterly affection.
The car started, with Peggy driving, while Carly excitedly told Ashley about her experiences from the previous night.
"Ashley, you really should have come with us to ladies' night last night! There were so many hot guys at the bar! How about we go again this weekend?"
Ashley refused directly.
"I'm not interested in those guys!"
Carly actually knew what her new friend was thinking.
"Uh, Ashley, is your target Roy? Honestly, all the girls at school like Roy, but they wouldn't really hang all their hopes on him alone. And Jennifer is not easy to deal with!"
Peggy interjected while driving.
"Yeah! That new girl, Nancy, used to have a pretty good thing going with Roy too, but hasn't she been acting distant lately? I don't know what kind of magic Jennifer and Needy cast on Roy. If I were Roy, I'd definitely have a new girlfriend every week and spread the love to all the girls in school!"
This statement was a bit outrageous, but when you considered that the speaker was Peggy (played by Paris Hilton), it somehow felt very fitting.
Carly was also indignant.
"Exactly! I practically threw myself at him, and he still didn't want me. Could he be sick or something?"
Ashley had some insight into this, after all, she had secretly watched Roy feeding baby formula to Ellureesa.
But the current Ashley was just touching the ring on her hand, her eyes unfocused as she murmured to herself.
"I will definitely get him!"
Chapter 192: Well, Then I Won't Lie. Wouldn't it Be Easier to Just Really Get Pregnant with Your Kid?
Arriving at the school gate, Ashley's outfit indeed caused a stir among all the students.
The guys were dumbfounded, while the girls gritted their teeth.
Carly and Peggy, who were also rebellious teenagers, suddenly felt that making such a splash might not be bad, even if the price was a spanking later.
After all, making a scene was in front of everyone, but no one would see their sore butts afterward.
The two girls exchanged glances, planning to pull off something similar one day.
Ashley, in her knee-high leather boots, strutted into the school with a sexy cat-like walk, as if she were walking the red carpet.
Her queen-like aura completely turned Carly and Peggy into sidekicks, but the two of them didn't even realize it, still thinking about how to imitate Ashley.
Before Ashley could even enter the school, a yellow Chevrolet Camaro pulled up at the gate, and the real queen of the campus made her entrance.
Jennifer got out of the car, her sharp gaze sweeping over Ashley.
Ashley seemed to sense it, turned her head to look at Jennifer, and their eyes met in mid-air, as if sparks flew.
Everyone present felt that the atmosphere was off, until Roy got out of the car and saw the scene.
"Huh, why is Ashley dressed like that?"
Nedy pursed her lips, a worried look on her face.
"If the principal sees her, he's definitely going to be mad!"
Oakwood High's principal had always been very concerned about the school's image. You could say he was old-fashioned, but he definitely had a big impact on the school's atmosphere.
At least Oakwood High hadn't had any major incidents, not counting the Nightstalker invasion.
Ashley's behavior was practically an open challenge to the principal's authority, which was why Nedy was so worried.
Roy carefully sized up Ashley, feeling that her vibe was a bit strange.
How could someone's aura change so quickly?
"I'm going to go talk to her."
Roy had just taken a step when Ashley turned and went into the school.
At this moment, a red convertible stopped at the gate, and Elizabeth, dressed in a red dress, got out.
After getting out of the car, Elizabeth sniffed, as if she smelled something strange, and her nose wrinkled.
So, Elizabeth started questioning Roy.
"Mr. Black, I need to talk to you."
As she spoke, she pulled Roy away without giving him a chance to object.
The guys all looked at Roy with envious eyes, jealous that he was not only popular with girls, but even the beautiful teacher seemed to like him especially.
After being dragged into the office, Elizabeth looked at Roy with an icy expression.
"Tell me, why would I smell that old snake in the school?"
Old snake? Could she be referring to Leviathan?
"Teacher Elizabeth, are you talking about the King of Envy?"
"Who else would it be? It's not like it would be that one from Norse mythology, would it?"
Norse mythology also had a giant serpent that devoured the world, Jörmungandr.
But Elizabeth actually knew about that. Could it be that Norse mythology was also real?
Roy didn't think too much about it. He assumed it was because he had picked up some of Emma's scent, and Elizabeth had smelled it.
"Uh, Teacher Elizabeth, this is a bit complicated."
Roy explained the situation with Emma, and Elizabeth narrowed her eyes.
"Are you saying that a girl who is a descendant of Leviathan and also a witch just awakened in town?"
"She awakened in Austin, but she's definitely in Waterfall Town now."
Elizabeth was so angry she wanted to curse. She just wanted to laze around and do nothing in Waterfall Town, so why were there so many things happening?
"Wait a minute, what is Lilith doing? Why would she just sit back and watch a descendant of Leviathan awaken?"
Roy opened his mouth, looking at the exasperated Elizabeth in surprise.
"Teacher Elizabeth, you know about Lilith?"
"Hmph! Of course, I know! Do you remember when I reminded you about your little girlfriend? I smelled Lilith's stink back then!"
Roy scratched his head. It seemed Elizabeth didn't like Lilith. No wonder she rarely interacted with Jennifer, or maybe she didn't want to get too close to Lilith and have her discover her existence.
So Lilith never knew about Elizabeth's existence, and Roy hadn't told her either. This already showed the difference in levels between the Demon King and the First Witch.
Speaking of which, Lilith was indeed quite "stinky," always dressed like she was wearing someone else's clothes.
"Damn it! If those people from the coven come, who knows what kind of trouble they'll cause. Should I take another leave of absence?"
As she spoke, Elizabeth focused her gaze on Roy again.
Take a leave of absence? This woman wasn't going to say he got her pregnant again so she could go to California for an abortion, was she?
"Wait a minute, if you take a leave of absence, you can't lie again and say I got you pregnant!"
Roy took precautions in advance, but Elizabeth didn't care.
"Well, then I won't lie. Wouldn't it be easier to just really get pregnant with your kid?"
Roy's mouth dropped open, and he didn't know what to say for a moment.
Then Elizabeth chuckled, looking at Roy flirtatiously.
"Just kidding with you. I'm not that bitch Asmodeus. It's not that easy to get pregnant, okay?"
That's right. There were no offspring of Belial mentioned in the Key of Solomon, but Asmodeus had countless descendants.
It made one wonder if the King of Lust had particularly good fertility.
Roy hadn't used any protection when fighting Elizabeth before, and nothing seemed to have happened so far.
But this joke was too scary, and Roy wasn't amused at all.
"Teacher Elizabeth, that's not funny!"
But Elizabeth didn't think so. She looked at Roy's reaction and giggled.
After laughing for several minutes, Elizabeth finally stopped.
"Alright, little Roy, who told you to always cause me trouble? Ever since I met you, I feel like Waterfall Town has become particularly 'lively.' Something happens every few days."
Roy was speechless. A lot of things came to him, and it had nothing to do with him.
Take Emma, for example. Her parents brought her back.
"What can I do?"
"Anyway, you have to deal with the Emma and the coven situation. Don't affect my life, or I'll have a good talk with the principal about taking a leave of absence."
Roy's face was full of black lines. He had already started planning how to tell dark jokes while dealing with Elizabeth.
"I'll handle it. Don't cause any trouble!"
Last time, the principal had given Roy face and hadn't reported Elizabeth's fake pregnancy news to her parents. If it happened again, it might be a different story.
Elizabeth leaned close to Roy's ear and reached down to touch his crotch.
"Don't disappoint me, little Roy!"
"If there's nothing else, I'll go first, Teacher Elizabeth."
"Go ahead!"
After Roy left, Elizabeth in the office started feeling uneasy again.
If what Roy said was true, and the Leviathan's aura came from Emma, then the source of the scent should be in Waterfall Town.
But now Elizabeth clearly felt that the source of the Leviathan's scent was right in the school. She had been too busy teasing Roy just now and hadn't noticed this problem.
Now that Roy was far away, Elizabeth had no choice but to wait a while before looking for him again.
When Roy returned to the classroom, he found the atmosphere very heavy, almost like a battlefield. No one was talking.
Looking closely, he saw that Ashley was staring at Jennifer, and that was the reason for the tense atmosphere in the classroom.
Wade kept winking at Roy, as if to tell him to be careful.
Just kidding, would Roy be afraid of something like this?
Wasn't this just a love triangle situation? Could it be more terrifying than the King of Greed?
Roy walked to his seat fearlessly, sat down with a flourish, and scanned Jennifer and Ashley with his gaze.
"You two like staring at each other so much, are you going to kiss?"
Jennifer instantly burst out laughing, and then Nedy followed suit. The laughter quickly spread throughout the class, and all the students laughed.
The only one who didn't laugh was Ashley. Her eyes held a jealous look, like knives cutting into Jennifer.
However, Jennifer didn't pay attention to this look.
As a typical beauty who had been beautiful since childhood, Jennifer was already used to such jealous gazes. It was just that this time the gaze came from an equally beautiful peer, which made it a bit special.
The atmosphere in the classroom eased a bit. Jennifer looked away and stopped paying attention to Ashley, but Ashley still stared at her.
Roy originally wanted to say something to Ashley, but just then the bell rang for class, so he had no choice but to whisper a word.
"Ashley, I want to talk to you after class."
Ashley didn't answer, still staring at Jennifer. Roy helplessly turned his head back to the blackboard.
A class period passed quickly. Roy grabbed Ashley's hand, wanting to take her out for a private chat, but Ashley directly甩掉了 (shuǎidiào -甩掉) Roy's hand.
"Ashley?"
"Don't touch me!"
Ashley's gaze felt strange to Roy, as if she had become a different person.
The surrounding students all looked over with strange eyes, making Roy frown.
Jennifer also stood up at this moment.
"Ashley Parker, what exactly do you mean?"
Ashley didn't answer, only glanced coldly at Roy and Jennifer, then turned and left the classroom.
Jennifer watched Ashley's departing back, then suddenly turned her head to look at Roy.
"Roy, I feel like something's wrong with Ashley! I sensed something special from her!"
After Jennifer's witch talents awakened, her sensing abilities became very strong. This was probably one of her talents.
"I also think Ashley's situation is a bit off. She definitely wasn't like this last Friday!"
Roy frowned in thought. Could something have happened last weekend?
It seemed he still needed to go ask Samantha.
Just as he was thinking this, Roy heard Ashley in the hallway seemingly getting caught by the principal.
"Ashley Parker, what are you wearing! This is outrageous!"
Roy quickly ran out to check the situation and saw the principal scolding Ashley. But Ashley kept her head held high, as if the person being scolded was someone else.
"Mr. Principal, let's chat!"
Roy suddenly appeared, smiling and putting his arm around the principal's shoulder. The principal still had to give Roy some face. After all, Roy had worn protective gear with Oakwood High's name on it throughout the Santa Monica Cup competition, which could be said to have given Oakwood High a huge boost of publicity in California.
This was very good publicity for a private school like Oakwood High.
"Is something the matter, Mr. Black?"
Roy pulled the principal aside and explained Ashley's situation to him.
"Ashley is from a single-parent family, and there have been some issues at home recently. She might be having some psychological problems. I'll help resolve it."
The principal looked Roy up and down, then said something that almost made him spit out his drink.
"You didn't accidentally get another girl pregnant, did you?"
Roy: ???
"Mr. Principal, you can't just say things like that!"
Roy hadn't even touched Ashley. How could he be falsely accused like this!
The principal could tell from Roy's reaction that he indeed hadn't touched Ashley. After all, Roy hadn't been this agitated when talking about Elizabeth before.
"Alright, I don't care what's going on with Ms. Ashley Parker, but she must come to school tomorrow wearing the proper uniform, otherwise I will call her parents to come and take her home personally!"
The principal turned and left. Roy breathed a sigh of relief, and then he saw Ashley looking at him expressionlessly.
"Ashley, what exactly do you mean by all this?"
Ashley ignored Roy and turned to walk in the other direction of the hallway.
"You come here!"
This time Roy was really angry. Even a rebellious teenager couldn't be this rebellious. He grabbed Ashley's wrist and pulled her into a corner.
Ashley tried to struggle, but how could a girl's strength compare to that monster Roy?
The result was that Ashley suddenly pulled out a switchblade and stabbed it at Roy.
Roy looked at Ashley in surprise. He knew this rebellious girl had a habit of playing with tasers. In "Octagon," Ashley had tased the mayor's son until he wet his pants, but he hadn't expected Ashley to play with knives too.
This stab naturally didn't cause any damage, not even a scratch. It only tore Roy's clothes.
However, Ashley looked like she had just woken up from a dream, looking at the switchblade in her hand, at a loss.
"I'm sorry, Roy, I'm sorry! I don't know why I did that!"
Ashley covered her face and started crying, her sobs full of self-reproach.
The crying attracted Jennifer and Nedy from the classroom. When they came out, they saw Roy's clothes were torn.
"What happened?"
"Something's wrong with Ashley! Nedy, go ask Teacher Elizabeth for a leave of absence. Jennifer, you come with me."
Roy was already certain that something was wrong with Ashley, but he wasn't clear on what exactly it was.
"Nedy, go ask Teacher Elizabeth for a leave of absence. Jennifer, you come with me to take Ashley home!"
As he spoke, Roy reached out to knock Ashley unconscious, preparing to take her away.
But Ashley suddenly used a joint lock move to dodge Roy's hand, and her head began to rotate three hundred and sixty degrees.
"Are you Roy Black?"
"Ashley" let out a sharp sound in the air, very similar to the sound of some kind of insect.
Roy looked at Ashley calmly. He was already certain that she had been possessed by some evil creature.
"Who are you?"
"Hehehe, you come with me, and I'll tell you!"
