*Chapter 912: Fulfillment and Perfection*
🕑 Added 2025-06-12 16:20:15 +0000 UTCClosing the panel, Seimei stopped overthinking. He packed up his things and, with a single leap, jumped down from the giant rock at the center of the island.
Then, with a few Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Techniques), he arrived in front of the wooden cabin.
Creak~
The door of the cabin swung open.
Seimei stepped inside, and the moment he saw the bed, he collapsed onto it and fell asleep.
Soon, the faint sound of his snoring echoed through the room.
---
The moon set, and the sun rose.
In the blink of an eye, it was the next day.
Morning came.
After completing three rounds of training without any surprises, Seimei’s Izanagi and Izanami reached the perfected state of Level 9 (0/0).
Standing in place, he felt waves of insight flooding his mind. Even without casting the techniques himself, he gained a fairly comprehensive understanding of their abilities.
First, Izanagi. If he used it, its effects could last over twenty minutes—far surpassing Uchiha Obito’s ten minutes or Danzo’s one minute.
And that wasn’t even his limit.
Seimei was certain that as his Sharingan continued to evolve and his Constitution attribute improved, the duration would extend even further.
Moreover, something he’d been worried about before now had an answer.
Based on the information he received after perfecting Izanagi, Seimei was confident that once his Sharingan evolved into the Rinnegan, he’d likely be immune to the technique’s cost.
At that point, he wouldn’t go blind. Instead, he’d lose a portion of his ocular power, temporarily unable to activate the Rinnegan.
That said, once he could awaken the Rinnegan, would he even need Izanagi anymore?
Heck, even now, with Amaterasu at his disposal, it seemed like he wouldn’t need it.
Seimei fell silent.
Still, as the saying goes, whether he’d use it and whether he could use it were two different things. If a day came when he needed this forbidden eye technique and didn’t know how to use it, that’d be a real joke.
So, even if there was a ninety percent chance he’d never need it, Seimei was determined to master it fully. When it came to life-saving skills, he could never have too many.
Moving on to Izanami.
Unlike Izanagi, which caused blindness after a single use, Izanami consumed a massive amount of ocular power but didn’t directly cause blindness.
Of course, if your ocular power was insufficient and you forced the technique, you’d have no one to blame but yourself for going blind.
According to the Uchiha clan’s records, the threshold for safely using Izanami was a top-tier three-tomoe Sharingan.
Anything less than that carried the risk of blindness.
Even with a top-tier three-tomoe Sharingan, using the technique would gradually impair vision, ultimately damaging the eyes and eliminating the possibility of awakening a Mangekyo Sharingan.
This was exactly why, like Izanagi, Izanami was classified as a forbidden eye technique by the Uchiha clan.
Otherwise, such a powerful genjutsu could have doubled the strength of Uchiha shinobi.
Naturally, with Seimei’s current ocular power, he could cast the technique without any cost.
That said, genjutsu was merely a supplementary tool for him—he didn’t care too much about it.
What really caught his attention was the 250,000 chakra points he’d saved up after perfecting both eye techniques.
Without much hesitation, Seimei followed his earlier plan and allocated them to the Eishin no Jutsu (Mind Reflection Technique).
With this influx of chakra, the daily progress he could make toward evolving his Sharingan—whether actively or passively—would reach an unprecedented sixty-four points.
At this rate, he’d achieve the Rinnegan in just four years.
Thinking of this, Seimei couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction.
Not wasting any more time, he immediately used Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Multiple Shadow Clone Technique) and began a new round of training.
This time, though, the shadow clones were grouped differently.
The clones previously training Izanagi and Izanami were split into two groups: one to develop Lava Release and the other to refine Fushin Sakuon: Keiyaku Shunshin no In (Heart-Sealing Soul Lock: Contract Teleportation Seal).
This wouldn’t directly speed up their development, but it would save him time on training, giving him more time to rest.
And with proper rest, he’d be more energized, which would naturally boost his training efficiency—indirectly speeding up his progress.
With these thoughts flashing through his mind, Seimei sent the shadow clones off to work, then began his own training.
For the fourth round, it was time to use Eishin no Jutsu to boost his Sharingan’s evolution.
Sitting cross-legged on the giant rock at the island’s center, Seimei quickly entered a focused state.
Time ticked by, second by second.
Before he knew it, it was late at night.
When Seimei finished nurturing his Byakugan, he wrapped up about an hour earlier than usual.
Satisfied, he returned to the cabin to rest.
The night passed uneventfully.
---
The next day.
Afternoon.
After dispelling the Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and absorbing the past hour’s worth of training experience and memories from his shadow clones, a sudden realization hit Seimei.
His eyes snapped open, a glint of joy flashing through them.
After four days of refinement, his Fushin Sakuon: Keiyaku Shunshin no In had finally broken through its previous limit and could now be improved further.
“Panel!”
With a thought, Seimei opened his proficiency panel.
In the skill section, the Fushin Sakuon: Keiyaku Shunshin no In, which had previously reached the perfected Level 9 (0/0), now showed Level 9 (1/100,000)!
Seimei tested it out, and as expected, its proficiency increased by one point.
Seeing this change, a genuine smile spread across his face.
Without hesitation, he created thirty shadow clones and began practicing the technique.
About ten minutes later, he recalled all the clones.
Looking at the panel, he saw the reduced chakra and the new proficiency points added to Fushin Sakuon: Keiyaku Shunshin no In.
Seimei roughly calculated the cost of further improving the technique.
The cost was about the same as before Level 9—200 chakra points per proficiency point.
However, since his Chakra Control had leveled up, reducing the cost of practicing various techniques, the actual cost was likely higher than before Level 9.
Still, no matter how he calculated it, the cost was far lower than Reika no Jutsu (Spirit Transformation Technique). This was a relief.
If it had been like Reika no Jutsu, requiring 500 chakra points per proficiency point, who knows how long it would’ve taken him to max out Fushin Sakuon: Keiyaku Shunshin no In.
Now, with a daily investment of 1,000,000 chakra points, he could gain 5,000 proficiency points.
To go from Level 9 to Level 10, which required 100,000 proficiency points, he’d need just twenty days.
And twenty days? Honestly, that wasn’t too long. Seimei could absolutely wait.
So…
“Let’s do it!”
With that thought, Seimei didn’t waste any more time. He formed hand signs and used Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu again, creating 150 shadow clones.
This time, the clone groups stayed the same. He only reassigned the clones refining Fushin Sakuon: Keiyaku Shunshin no In to start practicing it instead.
