He quickly rushed back to Uchiha Madara, putting on a fawning smile once again.
“I’m telling you, Uchiha Madara, there’s no need to waste your energy on that little nobody, Kazama. We don’t have to worry about him at all. As long as we can cast Infinite Tsukuyomi and trap everyone in our genjutsu, we can control the entire shinobi world, right? Compared to ruling the whole world, what’s one weakling like Kazama?”
“Hmph, you’re absolutely right.”
Hearing this, Uchiha Madara immediately activated his Rinne Sharingan with nine tomoe, casting Infinite Tsukuyomi and reflecting it onto the moon.
At that moment, the Five Kage and the Allied Shinobi Forces still didn’t realize that Kazama had purposely lost earlier.
So, when they saw Madara revive once again...
Everyone unleashed their strongest techniques, charging straight at Madara in a desperate attempt to stop him.
But this was no longer the same Madara. He had already obtained the power of the Sage of Six Paths.
Against their combined attacks, Madara didn’t even flinch.
In just a few exchanges, he easily overwhelmed them, forcing them into a retreat with serious injuries.
Kazama, watching the battlefield and seeing countless comrades fall, was completely stunned.
This wasn’t what he planned at all.
Kazama’s strategy had been to let everyone fall into Infinite Tsukuyomi without resistance, then wait until he obtained the power of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and rescued everyone from the genjutsu afterward.
But if they kept throwing their lives at Madara like this...
Wouldn’t that just mean they'd all die in vain?
Kazama quickly created a Wood Release clone while Madara was distracted.
The clone rushed to Tsunade, startling her with its sudden appearance.
“Tsunade-sama,” the clone said urgently, “you must rally the Allied Shinobi Forces and have them stop attacking Madara right now!”
“Oh? Why is that? And, Kazama-kun… weren’t you just pinned down by that Truth-Seeking Ball? How are you still alive?”
“There’s no time to explain everything. Just listen. No matter what Madara does next, do not interfere. I swear I’ll bring everyone back—and I will defeat Uchiha Madara.”
“…Alright. If you say so, I’ll trust you.”
Although Tsunade was filled with questions, she had unwavering faith in Kazama.
If he said he had a plan, then that was enough for her.
She quickly relayed the message to the other Four Kage.
The Kage were just as confused, unsure of what Kazama was thinking.
But in the end, they had no better options.
And none of them wanted to let their Allied Shinobi Forces die for nothing.
So, they all began to retreat rapidly.
Madara, seeing that no one dared challenge him anymore, burst into a triumphant laugh.
Poor guy didn’t realize the others were already preparing for a dazzling comeback.
And just like that, once Madara cast Infinite Tsukuyomi...
Everyone was instantly trapped in the genjutsu, falling into their own dreams.
Then, the God Tree wrapped them up in cocoons.
“Hmph, you bastards won’t be anything more than proper White Zetsu soon enough…”
Watching all this unfold from the shadows, Black Zetsu couldn’t help but laugh maniacally as the Five Kage and the entire Allied Shinobi Forces succumbed to Infinite Tsukuyomi.
*Chapter 257: The Arrival of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya*
Just as Black Zetsu (Kuro Zetsu) had said: if people remain trapped under the effects of Infinite Tsukuyomi (Mugen Tsukuyomi) for long enough, over the span of several years…
They will truly turn into White Zetsu (Shiro Zetsu).
However, now that Kazama is here, there's no way Black Zetsu's schemes will succeed.
At this point, although everyone has indeed fallen under the true Infinite Tsukuyomi…
The technique has no effect on Kazama.
That’s because Kazama now possesses the Rinnegan with six tomoe (Rikudo Rinnegan Rokudō Tomoe).
So in reality, this jutsu is completely useless against him.
Meanwhile, Black Zetsu looked at the God Tree (Shinju)—already wrapping up the shinobi and absorbing their chakra—and was inwardly delighted.
Putting on a show, he approached Uchiha Madara with a flattering smile.
“Madara,” he said, “now that you’ve successfully cast Infinite Tsukuyomi, the next step is to absorb the God Tree. Once you do that, you’ll gain power that surpasses even the Sage of Six Paths!”
“Really?”
“Heheh, of course! I’m the embodiment of your will, remember? Why would I lie to you?”
“Alright then! No problem!”
Hearing that, Madara burst into manic laughter.
“Don’t worry. Once I’ve gained power beyond the Sage of Six Paths, I’ll reward you handsomely.”
“Thank you, Master!”
Watching Madara act all high and mighty even though his end was near, Black Zetsu couldn’t help but snicker to himself.
In just a moment, Madara absorbed the entire God Tree into his body.
But then suddenly—he felt all of his chakra spiraling out of control.
This shocked Madara.
He turned to Black Zetsu, shouting, “What’s going on?! Why is my chakra going haywire for no reason?”
“Heheh, is that so?”
Before Madara could react, Black Zetsu extended his hand and pierced right through Madara’s body.
Stunned, Madara screamed, his face twisted in fury.
“You bastard! You’re supposed to be a creation of my will—my servant! Why the hell are you attacking me?!”
“Shut the hell up. You? Think you’re worthy of being my creator? I’m not your will—I’m the will of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya!”
Before Madara could respond, Black Zetsu attacked again, completely disrupting the chakra inside his body.
Soon after, a massive white mass enveloped Madara entirely.
His body began to transform—until it was no longer his own.
It had become the vessel for Ōtsutsuki Kaguya’s rebirth.
Seeing Kaguya’s form emerge, Black Zetsu was overjoyed.
He immediately dropped to his knees before her.
“Mother… after tens of thousands of years, I’ve finally brought you back.”
“Well done,” Kaguya said with a nod, clearly satisfied as she saw everyone caught in her Infinite Tsukuyomi and entangled by the God Tree.
But just then—
A figure suddenly flashed by.
In an instant, Black Zetsu was cleaved in two.
The movement had been so fast that even Kaguya—with her Byakugan and her Rinne Sharingan with nine tomoe—had no idea what had just happened.
---
*Chapter 258: Crushing Kaguya Ōtsutsuki*
Black Zetsu didn’t even have time to react.
Just as he was about to regenerate his body, he realized something horrifying—no matter what he did, his body wouldn’t heal.
This instantly shocked him to the core.
He turned his gaze toward the person who had attacked him, trying to get a clear look—and the moment he did, he staggered back several steps in fear.
It was none other than Kazama, returned from the dead.
“What?! How is this possible?! This can’t be happening!”
Although Black Zetsu had been sliced in two, he wasn’t technically dead. After all, he was just the embodiment of someone’s will.
Still, terror filled his face as he stared at Kazama.
Seeing Black Zetsu collapse in fear, Kazama burst out laughing.
“I’ll tell you something, Black Zetsu. You and Uchiha Madara really thought you could kill me? What a joke!”
“What?! How infuriating!”
The sight of Kazama alive—mocking him without restraint—sent Black Zetsu into a fury.
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, hearing Kazama’s words, turned her gaze to him and looked him up and down. What she saw truly shocked her—he didn’t have a single wound on his entire body.
This was completely outside Kaguya’s expectations.
Black Zetsu, still in shock, cried out again, “How is this possible?! I remember clearly—you were pinned to the ground by Madara’s Truth-Seeking Orbs! If you were really immune to them, why didn’t you fight back then? Why wait until now?”
Kazama smirked. “Heh… that’s exactly what I wanted. I let you revive Kaguya Ōtsutsuki… just so I could take all of you down in one move!”
“What?! Don’t make me laugh!”
Black Zetsu burst into wild laughter. The idea that Kazama thought he could go up against Kaguya was simply absurd to him.
“I’ll tell you, Kazama—my mother, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, is a god who created the entire shinobi world! She is the origin of all chakra and ninjutsu. And you? You’re just a lowly insect! You think you can defeat her? Keep dreaming!”
Kazama calmly replied, “I don’t need your opinion. I’ll let my actions do the talking.”
As soon as he finished, nine *Gudōdama*—Truth-Seeking Orbs—emerged from his body and shot straight at Black Zetsu, blasting him apart into scattered chunks.
Though still not dead, Black Zetsu was now completely immobilized.
“What?! You… you have Truth-Seeking Orbs too?!”
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was stunned to see Kazama take down her will-born creation with just a few attacks.
“Heh… of course I do. I can absorb any attack thrown at me.”
Just as he said, when Madara had used the Truth-Seeking Orbs on him earlier, Kazama had secretly absorbed them while Kaguya was being resurrected.
That’s how Kazama had gained the power of the *Gudōdama* as well.
But when Kaguya heard Kazama claim he could absorb all attacks, she only responded with a cold laugh.
After all, she was a divine being from beyond this world—she didn’t even consider people from Earth worthy of notice.
She never imagined that someone like Kazama, a “nobody,” could break free from her *Infinite Tsukuyomi*, let alone defeat her will-incarnation.
So now, seeing Kazama dare to stand against her filled her with absolute fury.
*Chapter 259: Kaguya Ōtsutsuki Is Scared Senseless*
Without hesitation, Kaguya activated Amenominaka and transported Kazama into the Lava Dimension.
Kazama looked around and, instead of panicking, let out a faint chuckle.
After all, he now possessed absolute defense—no form of attack could harm him in the slightest.
“Hmph! Didn’t you claim you can absorb any kind of attack?” Kaguya sneered. “Let’s see how you handle this endless sea of molten lava. I want to watch you try to absorb that!”
“Sure thing,” Kazama replied with a cold smile.
Without missing a beat, he activated his Burning Devour System, and began absorbing the lava from the surrounding space into his body.
Ding! Lava absorption successful.
Congratulations, host—lava mastery unlocked. You can now control magma freely!
Hearing the system's notification, Kazama was overjoyed.
Kaguya, however, was stunned. Not only was Kazama completely unfazed by her lava, he was actually absorbing her dimension’s lava directly into his body!
Before she could even react, Kazama launched an attack, manipulating the lava and hurling it straight at her.
“He’s controlling my jutsu—inside my own space?!”
Completely caught off guard, Kaguya was again shocked. She immediately cast Amenominaka once more and shifted them into the Ice Dimension.
She had no idea that Kazama could absorb and repurpose enemy techniques. She assumed he simply specialized in lava-style abilities.
Naturally, she thought: if fire is his element, then water (or in this case, ice) should counter it. If he thrived in lava, he should be helpless in this icy realm.
“You brat. Don’t think just because you can control lava that you’re all that. Water counters fire! Now let me show you what it means to become an ice sculpture!”
With that, Kaguya unleashed a wave of freezing energy toward him.
Ding! Ice absorption successful.
Congratulations—frost mastery unlocked. You can now control ice freely!
“Heh. Funny thing—I can control ice just as easily as lava.”
“What?! That’s impossible!”
Her own ice attack, originally aimed at Kazama, now turned back and flew toward her under his control.
Kaguya’s eyes widened in disbelief. These dimensional realms of hers—formed by Amenominaka—should only respond to her will. And yet, somehow, Kazama was manipulating them as if they were his own!
This ninja… he was unlike anyone she had ever encountered.
“If lava and ice can’t stop you,” Kaguya growled, “then let’s see how you handle something even more terrifying!”
With a blink, she warped them into the Super Gravity Dimension.
Instantly, both she and Kazama were pinned to the ground, unable to move. Even drawing chakra became a struggle.
“So this is the super gravity world… Impressive,” Kazama said, smiling even as he lay pressed against the floor.
To him, this only reinforced how incredible the power of Amenominaka was—each dimension not only unique but strategically useful.
But Kazama had a plan. He knew that once he absorbed Kaguya’s bloodline powers, he could awaken the Rinne Sharingan with nine tomoe (Kyūtomoe Rinne Sharingan).
And once that happened, he’d gain access to Amenominaka too.
“Hey, brat! You can’t even lift a finger now. Let’s see how you keep fighting me!” Kaguya jeered.
“But aren’t you just as crushed by this gravity as I am?” Kazama shot back, laughing at her.
Both of them lay immobilized under the crushing weight, but only Kazama seemed to find it hilarious. Kaguya, on the other hand, was beginning to feel something she hadn’t in thousands of years—
*Fear.*
Chapter 260: Brutally Beating Down Kaguya Ōtsutsuki
"That's right, I was being suppressed by this super-gravity dimension," Kazama said, "but in the end, this space belongs to me. I understand how to use its power better than you ever could."
The moment Kaguya Ōtsutsuki finished speaking, sharp spikes erupted from the ground of the super-gravity dimension, all surging toward Kazama.
"You little brat—this time, you're dead for sure!"
Ding! Absorbed the Super-Gravity Dimension Technique. Congratulations, host, you've acquired the ability to control the Super-Gravity Dimension.
Kazama chuckled. "Kaguya, your space is tricky, I’ll give you that. But for me? It’s completely useless!"
"What?! You—!"
Kaguya watched in disbelief as Kazama effortlessly absorbed her attacks again. His body remained completely unharmed.
Even the goddess of creation, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki herself, was shocked.
Because not even she could wield a power like this.
"Your super-gravity dimension just applies normal pressure. Now let me show you… what real pressure feels like—hundredfold!"
Kazama extended a single hand—and instantly, the gravity in the space intensified far beyond what it had been. Kaguya was immediately crushed down, pinned helplessly to the ground.
Kazama, meanwhile, lightened the gravity on his own body and soared into the air.
"Kid… you’ve really caught me off guard. Not only can you absorb attacks, you can even control my dimension?"
"You're too kind. If you’ve got any trump cards left, now’s the time. Otherwise, I’m sealing you away for good."
"You arrogant little bastard… how dare you look down on me!"
Furious at being mocked, Kaguya exploded with rage.
"Tomogoroshi no Haikotsu!" (All-Killing Ash Bones)
A gray bone spear materialized in Kaguya’s hand.
"This is my ultimate technique. Anything it touches turns to dust. Very few have ever forced me to use this move. You’re the first from this planet. Even in death, you should feel honored!"
As she spoke, the gray bone spike shot out—and pierced Kazama.
“A technique similar to Kimimaro’s Shikotsumyaku,” Kazama noted, “but its power is in a whole different league.”
Rather than panic, he laughed.
Because this was exactly what he had been waiting for.
Only when Kaguya used a jutsu tied directly to her own Ōtsutsuki bloodline could Kazama absorb it—and gain the power of the Ōtsutsuki Clan himself.
And with that… awaken the Rinne Sharingan with Nine Tomoe.
Right at that moment, the system alerts rang out:
Ding! Successfully absorbed All-Killing Ash Bones. Congratulations, host, you’ve acquired Super All-Killing Ash Bones! Ding! Successfully absorbed Ōtsutsuki Clan Power. Congratulations, host, you’ve awakened the Nine Tomoe Rinne Sharingan! Congratulations, host, you’ve obtained Infinite Tsukuyomi! Congratulations, host, you’ve acquired Amenominaka (Heavenly Between Realms)! Ding! Congratulations, host, you’ve obtained the No. 1 Ranked Alien Flame: Emperor Flame. Warning—this flame is extremely dangerous. Please use with caution.
“Dangerous? Extremely dangerous?”
Hearing the system’s warning, Kazama raised an eyebrow, slightly puzzled.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Kaguya was frozen in place—utterly stunned.
Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine Kazama could absorb even her ultimate technique—Tomogoroshi no Haikotsu.
Her worldview had just been completely shattered.
At first, she only considered Kazama troublesome.
But now… she no longer thought he was just a problem—he was terrifying.
Kazama had become the first person in existence to make the goddess of creation Kaguya Ōtsutsuki feel fear.
