*Chapter 907: Refinement Complete*
🕑 Added 2025-06-09 16:28:22 +0000 UTCTwo days passed in a flash.
It was morning.
When Seimei dispelled his Multiple Shadow Clone Technique and absorbed the training experiences and memories of his shadow clones from the past hour, a sudden spark of understanding lit up in his mind.
Seimei’s eyes snapped open.
A strange glint flickered in his gaze.
After a moment of thought, he closed his eyes again, carefully reviewing the insights that had surfaced in his mind.
Time ticked by, second by second.
A full half-hour later, he opened his eyes again.
With a single thought, Seimei pulled up his proficiency panel.
Sure enough, his Spirit Transformation Technique had leveled up to LV7.
That’s right—the insight he’d just experienced was the result of the Spirit Transformation Technique undergoing a qualitative leap upon reaching LV7.
Closing the panel, Seimei raised his hands and swiftly formed hand signs, casting the S-rank forbidden jutsu—Spirit Transformation Technique!
Whoosh!
The moment he completed the hand signs, a translucent soul shadow floated out from the top of his head—his activated soul.
Seimei shifted his consciousness into his soul form, carefully sensing his surroundings.
Compared to LV2, his base perception range in this soul state had expanded dramatically—from ten times his normal range to a hundred times now.
His perception accuracy had also improved slightly.
Seimei was confident that, in this state, unless an enemy had some special concealment technique, they’d have little chance of escaping his detection once they entered his range.
Moreover, his ability to sense specific chakra signatures remained ten times his base perception range.
In other words, he could now detect chakra signatures he’d memorized from even greater distances.
“Not bad!”
Seimei nodded in satisfaction before checking the amount of chakra he could carry in this form.
Back at LV2, he could only carry about one-tenth of his total chakra.
Now, that amount had jumped to half.
Visibly, the glow emanating from his soul had grown noticeably brighter.
Carrying more chakra meant he could operate at greater distances.
It also meant he could sustain his activities longer and unleash stronger combat power.
To test these precise metrics, Seimei began a more detailed study of his abilities.
Sure, he wasn’t likely to use this ninjutsu in combat before reaching adulthood, but even if he wasn’t using it, he needed to understand it thoroughly.
Otherwise, if he ever had to use it in a pinch, he didn’t want to fumble.
Seimei would rather spend some extra time and chakra now than risk that scenario.
So, the tests had to be done.
And those tests took nearly an hour.
By late morning, Seimei had finished all his experiments, gaining a detailed understanding of the Spirit Transformation Technique’s capabilities at LV7.
Now, he could use it without worrying about unexpected hiccups.
Focusing his thoughts, Seimei dispelled the Spirit Transformation Technique with a single command.
Instantly, his soul seemed to be tugged back, returning to his physical body.
Suddenly, Seimei opened his eyes.
But in the next moment, a rusty, stiff sensation flooded his mind.
Seimei frowned slightly, then moved his body to shake it off.
His movements were visibly stiff, like a marionette being jerked around by strings.
In an instant, he understood—this was the result of his soul being separated from his body for too long.
An hour might not seem like much to most people, but for someone like him, a transmigrator who’d taken over this body, it was a bit long.
Thankfully, he’d spent three years bonding with this body—three years of rapid growth, no less.
So, after a short adjustment, his body returned to its usual agile and nimble state.
After hopping around a bit to loosen up, Seimei didn’t waste any more time. He formed hand signs again and cast Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.
A new round of training began.
Just like the past few days, once he got into the zone, Seimei barely noticed time passing.
His days were spent either training or on the way to train, with the occasional break for sleep.
Time flew by.
Before he knew it, it was time for Seimei to take a break.
He paused his training and returned to the village.
That day, nothing out of the ordinary happened.
The ripple effects of Orochimaru’s defection were still lingering, but they’d died down to barely a whisper.
Seimei stayed in the village for a day, resting up, before heading back to the island to start another round of training.
Two more days passed in a blink.
It was also the eighth day since he’d successfully developed Wood Release.
Through his research on how Hashirama’s cells passively influenced the evolution of his Sharingan, he finally perfected the Heart Reflection Technique.
That night, on a massive boulder at the center of the island, Seimei slowly opened his eyes.
“Panel!”
With a thought, he opened his proficiency panel.
Seeing the new progress point added to his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan in the bloodline section, he nodded in satisfaction.
The refined Heart Reflection Technique now allowed him to boost his Sharingan’s evolution by 50 points per day by investing one million chakra points.
(Sorry, I messed up back in Chapter 889—wrote one to two points when it should’ve been ten to twenty. The chapter’s locked, so I can’t fix it. My bad!)
No doubt, this was a massive leap compared to both the initial progress and where he was just ten days ago.
At this rate, it would take less than 2,000 days for his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan to evolve into a Rinnegan.
That’s about five and a half years.
While still a long time, it was within his acceptable range.
Plus, this pace wasn’t set in stone.
As he continued using the Heart Reflection Technique to push his Sharingan’s evolution, he was bound to find ways to make it even more efficient.
That way, he could keep refining the technique, boosting its effectiveness and speeding up the evolution process.
On top of that, one million chakra points per day wasn’t even the limit his eyes could handle.
Seimei had tested it—under this level of stimulation, if he managed his time well, he could handle up to 1.5 million chakra points daily.
That would give him an extra 25 points of evolution progress, a 50% efficiency boost, meaning he could evolve his Rinnegan in just under four years.
That was a lot faster.
Unfortunately, he didn’t have that much chakra to spare right now, and even if he did, time was an issue.
The one million chakra points already required him to dedicate half his day to the process. Increasing the input would demand even more time.
That would significantly slow down his physical transformation progress.
No question, that trade-off wasn’t worth it.
So, for now, Seimei decided not to increase his chakra investment.
