Chapter 926: Estimation
🕑 Added 2025-06-20 16:22:39 +0000 UTCSeimei pulled his thoughts together, shaking off any distractions. He mentally reviewed everything he’d just tested, making sure he hadn’t missed anything, and prepared for one final check.
Yup, there was still one test left.
And what was it? Simple. Every time his body underwent a transformation, he estimated how long it’d take to reach the next one, giving him a roadmap for his future training.
But just as Seimei was about to dive into the ocean to strengthen his body, he realized it was already pretty late.
His transformation had kicked in at dusk, and he’d spent hours testing his theoretical chakra ceiling, chakra recovery speed, and the boosted resilience of his Sharingan and Byakugan.
Those last two alone had eaten up six or seven hours, pushing him well past midnight.
Based on past experience, accurately estimating the time to his next transformation would take at least a day or two of full training cycles.
So…
“Guess I’ll rest first,” he muttered.
With a low hum, Seimei didn’t waste another second. He stood, hopped off the massive boulder, and with a few quick Body Flicker Techniques, landed in front of the wooden cabin tucked away on a corner of the island.
Creak.
The cabin door swung open.
Seimei stepped inside, shedding his gear.
Then, he flopped onto the bed and was out like a light.
A few breaths later, soft snores echoed through the cabin.
The night passed quietly.
The next day.
Morning.
As the first rays of sunlight slipped through the window’s cracks and brushed Seimei’s face, he stirred from his sleep.
He hopped out of bed, freshened up, scarfed down a few enhanced soldier pills to fill his stomach, and got right to training.
Today’s schedule was packed. Beyond the test he’d planned last night, he also needed to tweak the synergy between his real body and his shadow clones.
After all, he’d dumped 750,000 chakra points into his Sharingan in one go. To fully harness its potential, he’d have to dedicate more time and energy to casting Reflecting Heart.
That meant recalibrating how he split his focus between his real body and his shadow clones.
Luckily, Seimei was a pro at this by now. After just a few training cycles, he had it mostly sorted.
Then it was back to his regular training routine.
Two days flew by.
It was now noon on the third day.
Taking a break on the giant boulder at the island’s center, Seimei reviewed his progress over the past couple of days.
Comparing it to past experiences, he estimated how long it’d take to hit the critical point for his next transformation.
His conclusion? If he kept training at this intensity, his body would hit a new bottleneck in about five months.
It was February 13th now, so five months later would be mid-July.
That meant three months before the Nine-Tails Incident, his body would undergo another transformation.
Seimei was pretty pleased with that.
If he stayed on track, he’d definitely boost his strength before the Nine-Tails Incident.
That’d give him a better shot at snagging some benefits during the chaos.
Let’s be real—Naruto, as the Hokage world’s “main character,” had a knack for keeping the “plot” on track.
Even though Seimei had done plenty since arriving in this world, altering the fates of quite a few people, his chance encounter with Kushina Uzumaki suggested Naruto’s birth was still on schedule, just like in his memories.
Seimei could only guess it was because his changes to the “plot” hadn’t directly affected Minato Namikaze, the destined father of the “Child of Prophecy.”
Otherwise, it was hard to explain.
Not that he cared too much. He was only calculating this timeline to seize the opportunity.
No matter when Naruto was born, as long as he was born, Uchiha Obito wouldn’t pass up a golden chance like that.
So, the Nine-Tails Incident was pretty much guaranteed to happen.
Seimei might not go head-to-head with the Nine-Tails, but sneaking in to grab some of its chakra? Totally doable.
Everyone knew the Nine-Tails had the most massive and unique chakra among the nine tailed beasts.
In his past life, even someone like Kazuma, scraping together bits of Nine-Tails chakra, could create a decent pseudo-Jinchuriki like Sora.
If Seimei took a crack at it, the results would be even better.
If he could cultivate a mini Nine-Tails, it’d not only give him an extra chakra source but also open the door to fusing the nine tailed beasts’ chakra to tap into the Ten-Tails’ divine tree.
But those were just rough ideas for now. Whether he’d act on them or how he’d pull it off was still up in the air.
He was just planning ahead.
For now, his top priority was making the most of this peaceful time to level up as much as possible.
Everything else could wait.
With that settled, Seimei cleared his mind and stopped overthinking.
He opened his ninja pouch, pulled out a few enhanced soldier pills, and swallowed them to replenish his energy.
Then, sitting on the boulder at the island’s center, he took a moment to rest.
Time ticked by.
Once he felt mostly recovered, Seimei didn’t waste another second. He formed hand seals and unleashed the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.
Poof! Poof! Poof!
With bursts of chakra smoke, 150 shadow clones appeared.
Yup, since this transformation had boosted his Physique but not his mental capacity, he could still only handle 150 shadow clones for high-intensity training.
So, 150 it was.
Like a well-oiled machine, he split the clones into groups, sending them off to train. Then Seimei himself dove into physical conditioning.
Crackle!
A thunderous roar echoed as lightning enveloped his body.
At first, the electric sparks were blinding.
But soon, they condensed, the noise fading.
From a distance, it looked like Seimei was wrapped in a thin, blue-white film of light.
It made him seem fragile.
But looks were deceiving.
This was proof of his mastery over Lightning Release chakra. The “Lightning Film” might look delicate, but it held an insane amount of chakra.
It was like a tailed beast’s cloak—thin but nearly impossible to break without serious power.
Seimei had developed this defensive ninjutsu over time while using the Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
Unlike the Cloud Village’s secret Lightning Armor, which focused on raw defensive power, Seimei’s Lightning Film was more flexible.
Its endurance also far surpassed the Lightning Armor.
And that fit Seimei’s needs perfectly.
Training in the unpredictable undercurrents of the ocean, under pressure dozens of times stronger than normal, required finesse, not brute force. The Lightning Armor’s rigid defense wouldn’t cut it—deflecting force with minimal effort was the way to go.
Over time, he’d honed the skill to form this Lightning Film.
Feeling the barrier between himself and the outside world, Seimei didn’t hesitate. He locked onto a Flying Thunder God seal at the ocean’s depths, and with a single thought, activated the Flying Thunder God Technique.
