"Poof!"
The moment the attack connected, Kakashi vanished—replaced by a log that splintered under the blow.
"Fourth Gate: Injury Gate—OPEN!"
Nearby, Might Guy's body erupted with crimson energy as he surged into the Fourth Gate. His power spiked—
—Only for Clone 伍 (Go) to lock eyes with him.
"Genjutsu: Body-Binding Technique!"
Guy's muscles seized. Paralyzed.
"Water Release—"
Clone 伍 lunged for the kill—
—But Kakashi blurred behind Guy, yanking him to safety and dispelling the illusion.
They barely touched the water's surface when—
"Water Release: Severing Wave!"
Clones 肆 (Shi) and 伍 slammed their palms onto the lake. The water shrieked as pressurized jets—razor-thin, deadly—speared toward them.
No escape.
"SIXTH GATE: GATE OF VIEW—OPEN!!"
Guy hurled Kakashi clear, then detonated his chakra. The sheer force caved the lake beneath him, sending tidal waves crashing outward.
Even Ōnoki stiffened. This pressure…
At the Sixth Gate, Guy rivals a Kage.
"MORNING PEACOCK!"
Guy's fists became a meteor shower. Air friction ignited his punches, fire-wreathed shockwaves colliding with the water jets midair.
BOOM—!
The world shook. Steam swallowed the battlefield.
Clone 肆 grinned. "Entertaining."
This "toy" had teeth.
"Lightning Release: Raging Thunder Tiger!"
Twin beasts of lightning roared from the clones' hands, forcing Kakashi and Guy into evasive leaps—
—But the clones were already behind them.
CRACK!
Fists clashed. Knees locked. Neither side yielded.
Then the clones smirked.
"Water Release: Hiding in Mist Technique."
Thick fog smothered the duo.
Shit. Kakashi's stomach dropped. No sight. No sound. No scent.
They scrambled backward—
THUD!
Invisible blows slammed them into the water. Icy liquid flooded their lungs.
Then—agony.
Four finger-sized holes pierced their limbs.
Mobility—gone.
Chapter 312: Powerless to Resist
"Seventh Gate of Shock—OPEN—!"
Might Guy had just begun to unleash his ultimate technique, Daytime Tiger, when—
SLAM!
Water Clone #5 pressed a palm against his chest.
"Fūinjutsu: Bakuryū Jukujutsu (Sealing Art: Binding Torrent Curse)!"
A surge of sealing power clamped down on Guy’s body, suppressing his raging chakra in an instant.
Then—his muscles locked up.
He couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe.
Only choke.
Water flooded his lungs as his body sank like a stone.
"GUY—!"
Kakashi’s hands flew into a seal—
SHINK!
A water cutter speared through his palm, shattering his attempt.
Then—
Water Clone #4’s mocking face filled his vision.
"Fūinjutsu: Bakuryū Jukujutsu!"
The moment the sealing energy crawled into his veins, Kakashi knew:
It was over.
He was powerless.
These clones were broken.
Unkillable. Immune to physical attacks. And terrifyingly intelligent.
He’d analyzed their weaknesses. Planned counters.
But strategy meant nothing when the enemy gave you no time to think.
Two clones. That’s all it took to crush him and Guy.
Absolute strength rendered all tricks meaningless.
Meanwhile—
The Third Hokage, Jiraiya, and Tsunade had almost reached Yoru’s real body.
Yet…
He hadn’t moved.
Not a twitch. Not a defense.
"What’s his game?" Tsunade gritted her teeth.
If he didn’t dodge now, he’d be—
CRACKLE—
A bone-deep sense of danger screamed through their nerves.
They looked up.
And froze.
A monstrous thunder-tiger loomed from the storm clouds, its electric-blue eyes locking onto them with predatory hunger.
"Raiton: Doraiga (Lightning Release: Raging Thunder Tiger)!"
The voice came from Water Clone #4, now retreating at full speed—
Dragging Kakashi and Guy’s limp bodies with it.
ROOOAR—!
The tiger’s deafening cry split the sky as it plummeted.
"MOVE!"
The Third, Jiraiya, and Tsunade scrambled back in panic.
Yoru wasn’t dodging.
Because he didn’t need to.
He’d included himself in the blast radius.
BOOOOOOM—!
The impact obliterated the battlefield.
A tsunami of water erupted fifty meters high.
The shockwave alone flattened trees, ruptured eardrums, and sent blood trickling from noses and ears.
Lightning scoured the earth like thousands of whips, cracking the ground apart in jagged fissures that chased fleeing shinobi.
"Doton: Doryū Jōheki (Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall)!"
"Suiton: Suijinheki (Water Release: Water Wall)!"
"Raiton: Raikō Hashira (Lightning Release: Lightning Pillar)!"
"Suna no Tate (Sand Shield)!"
Shinobi from every village threw up barriers, sandstorms, and lightning shields—
Desperate to survive the apocalypse Yoru had unleashed.
Chapter 313: The Will But Not the Strength
"BOOM! BOOM! CRACK!"
The aftershocks of the battle were devastating.
The earthen walls shattered in an instant, followed by the water barrier, then the blinding pillar of lightning—until finally, the shockwave slammed into the sand fortress, exhausting its last remnants of power before fading away.
What lay before the shinobi of the great villages was nothing but ruins.
Debris littered the battlefield—a gruesome sight.
Yet, there was one untouched spot.
A thin, crimson barrier shielded Yoru, Yugito, and Reiko, leaving them completely unharmed.
Of course, Danzo and Uchiha Sasuke were also unaffected.
"This guy…!!"
Tsunade panted heavily, glaring at Yoru, who remained as calm as ever. Fury burned in her chest—but so did helplessness.
Just how strong is he?!
After fighting for so long, they hadn’t even grazed his clothes. Meanwhile, their side was already exhausted.
"Shunshin!"
In a flash, Yoru appeared right in front of Tsunade and the others, a playful smirk on his face.
"So? Still want to continue?"
Behind him, his five Mizu Bunshin (Water Clones) reappeared—completely unscathed.
The sight made the Third Hokage suck in a sharp breath.
Had they been fighting for nothing this whole time?
"Still, I’ll give you credit—you managed to drain 20% of my chakra in just ten minutes. Not bad."
The moment those words left his mouth, the entire battlefield fell into stunned silence.
All that… and they only took 20% of his chakra?!
Just how much chakra does this guy have?!
For any normal shinobi, maintaining five high-performance Mizu Bunshin in prolonged combat would be impossible. Even a few rounds of Suiton: Suidanha (Water Severing Wave) would leave most drained.
And yet, Yoru had created an entire lake as his battlefield.
Was his chakra pool more monstrous than a tailed beast’s?!
The shinobi’s expressions darkened.
How were they supposed to fight this?
Even if they tried to outlast him, Yoru could simply exhaust them to death.
Worse—his sheer strength was downright hopeless to match.
Even Jiraiya felt his resolve waver.
Fighting a monster like this… was there even a chance of winning?
Seeing the hesitation in the Third Hokage’s eyes, Yoru sighed dramatically.
"Guess that means you’re done. Good call! We’re all peace-loving people, right? No need for pointless bloodshed. Wouldn’t it be nicer to just… enjoy the show?"
With that, his five Mizu Bunshin vanished, and the unconscious Might Guy and Kakashi were gently laid on the ground.
"Honestly…" Yoru shook his head. "If you’d just listened from the start, we could’ve avoided all this. Look at the mess—poor flowers and grass didn’t deserve this."
Every shinobi present twitched at his words.
"Didn’t deserve this?"
He’d just vaporized everything in a several-kilometer radius with a single Raiton (Lightning Release) technique!
And now he’s pretending to care about the environment?!
This old fox…!
"Well, time to enjoy the show again. Later!"**
With a flicker, Yoru vanished, leaving only those words behind.
Meanwhile, Nara Shikaku, Hyuga Hiashi, and the others turned to Tsunade and the Third Hokage, uncertainty in their voices.
"Hokage-sama… are we really just… letting this go?"
Were they seriously not going to stop Yoru?
Down below, Uchiha Sasuke was locked in a death match with Danzo—one that could end with Danzo’s death.
Were they just going to stand by and watch?
What would the village think of them?
Wouldn’t this betrayal shake the very foundation of Konoha’s trust in its leaders?
Chapter 314: The Moment Despair Begins
If even Danzō—a high-ranking elder—could be left to die, then who wouldn’t these elites sacrifice?
Hearing Nara Shikaku’s words, the Third Hokage, Jiraiya, and even Tsunade couldn’t help but show hesitation.
Then, Tsunade roared: "Save him!!"
Exactly! If they abandoned someone like Danzō, what would the other Konoha shinobi think? How would they view her as Hokage? What kind of leader would that make her?
Wasn’t the Hokage’s duty to protect everyone in the village—to safeguard Konoha’s peace, even at the cost of their own life?
"Heavenly Foot of Pain!"
With a furious shout, Tsunade slammed her foot into the ground, carving out a massive crater and sending shockwaves tearing through the surroundings. The force was so violent that Yaranai and his companions had no choice but to retreat.
"Summoning: Enma!"
The Third Hokage summoned the Monkey King for backup, while Jiraiya quickly called forth all his toad allies. Together, they charged at Yaranai once more.
Watching this overwhelming force, Yaranai—hovering midair—let out a sigh. "Seems like talking you down won’t be easy."
"Fine then."
His hands moved in a blur, weaving seals faster than the eye could follow—like a spinning wheel.
Then—
Dark blue lightning erupted from his body.
A tyrannical, crushing, overwhelming pressure descended, as if the weight of the heavens themselves had dropped. The very earth beneath them groaned and cracked under the force.
Everyone present gasped, their faces paling.
It felt like an invisible mountain had been placed on their shoulders—bending their spines, making every cell in their bodies tremble in fear.
"Is… this… Yaranai at full power?"
That was the only thought that crossed their minds.
Under this suffocating aura, they felt small. Like ants before a storm.
Even Tsunade and the others, mid-charge, found their movements slowed—as if wading through mud.
The dark blue lightning surged around Yaranai, coalescing into a dragon—one so vast it blotted out the sky. Its cold, merciless eyes locked onto them, sending chills down their spines.
Gamabunta: "This… doesn’t feel good."
Gamaken: "Y-yeah…"
"Not good" was an understatement.
Gamabunta had always been fearless—even against Tailed Beasts, he never backed down.
Yet now, his body trembled on its own. That lightning dragon? He couldn’t even think of fighting it. Compared to its might, he felt like nothing more than a tiny frog.
"BOOM!"
The dragon struck.
A single claw descended—
And with it came hurricane-force winds, enough to collapse the very air. The ground shattered like glass beneath the pressure.
Tsunade and the others barely had time to react before—
"CRASH!"
A massive, fortress-level tail swung down, carrying enough force to flatten mountains. Everything in its path was obliterated—including the Third Hokage and his team.
"BAM!"
"THUD!"
"BOOOOM!"
Enma, in his staff form, lasted one second before being smashed into near-death, forced to retreat back to the summoning realm.
As for Gamabunta and the other toads? They didn’t even get a chance to fight back—blasted away in an instant, severely wounded and sent back to Mount Myōboku.
The Third Hokage, Tsunade, and Jiraiya?
They were sent flying like bullets—blasting through forests, smashing boulders, and finally embedding themselves deep into a distant mountainside. A colossal dust cloud erupted in their wake.
The power of Shinra Banshō—all things, crushed to nothing.
Chapter 315: Danzo, Your Time Has Come
"Tch—!"
Ōnoki, the Fourth Raikage (A), Gaara, and every Konoha shinobi watching the scene drew in a sharp, despairing breath.
There was no winning this.
Absolutely no chance.
The gap in strength was like clouds and mud—utterly insurmountable.
Yoru alone could effortlessly annihilate any one of their villages.
The Konoha Anbu stood frozen, unable to react. Even Nara Shikaku and the others trembled uncontrollably, their bodies refusing to move forward.
A single man, intimidating an entire village.
How terrifying was that?!
"Sh-Shikaku-sama… do we… do we still attack?"
An Anbu member’s voice shook as he asked for orders.
"I…"
For the first time in his life, Nara Shikaku didn’t know what to say.
If they charged—they’d die.
If they didn’t—they’d be called cowards.
Damned if they did, damned if they didn’t.
But as his gaze fell upon Yoru, standing atop the head of a lightning dragon like a god gazing down from the heavens, Shikaku felt not a shred of fighting spirit left in him.
Too strong.
Yoru existed on a level none of them could reach.
If they angered him further, Konoha would pay the price. And frankly… was it even worth it?
Right now, the best course of action seemed to be… letting Yoru do as he pleased.
The moment that thought crossed his mind, Shikaku felt a pang of bitter shame.
As one of Konoha’s leaders… was he really going to stand by while an outsider ran wild in their own home?
Seeing that the Konoha forces had no intention of attacking further, Yoru dismissed the lightning dragon and landed gracefully.
"See? Was that so hard? No need to ruin the mood with unnecessary fighting."
He sighed, shaking his head.
"Honestly, I told you—think of the poor flowers and grass."
Everyone listening nearly choked on their own blood.
You’re the one who turned this place into a wasteland!
And now you’re acting like some environmentalist?!
This guy…!
Meanwhile, Danzo, locked in battle with Uchiha Sasuke, saw everything.
His face twisted in fury.
Yoru had completely cut off his escape. Now, he had no reinforcements—no choice but to fight Sasuke to the death.
And the worst part?
He was losing.
Danzo, the feared Shimura clan leader, the Shadow of Konoha, the Tiger of the Hidden Leaf—was being pushed to the brink by a fifteen-year-old brat.
What a disgrace.
"HAHAHA!"
Sasuke, his eyes streaming blood, threw his head back in manic laughter.
"Danzo… you finally get what you deserve! No more interruptions. No one left to save you!"
His voice dripped with venom.
"YOUR TIME IS UP!"
With a roar, Sasuke activated his third-stage Susanoo, transforming into a ten-meter-tall spectral warrior—a monstrous entity clad in armor, wielding a lightning spear in one hand and a shield in the other.
The sheer pressure it emitted made the air itself tremble.
"DIE!"
The spear thrust forward—BOOM!—shattering the atmosphere in its path.
"Fūton: Shinkū Taigyoku!" (Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere)
Danzo’s entire body tensed, his instincts screaming danger. He formed hand seals and fired a massive blast of compressed air, colliding with the incoming spear.
