“Even if our two villages teamed up, they wouldn’t stop. Not only would they keep fighting, but they’d make us the target of everyone’s attacks. True peace? No way that’s happening.”
“If that’s the case, then all I need to do is get the leaders of these three villages to join forces with us, right?”
“What?! Kid, don’t make me laugh!”
“Yeah, just because you beat our Tsuchikage doesn’t mean you’re that big a deal!”
Seeing the Iwagakure ninja scoff at his ability to end the war, Kazama decided right then to head to the other battlefields and put a stop to the Third Shinobi World War as soon as possible.
Sure, he’d already obtained the Flame of Life, but Kazama couldn’t stand watching so many ninja suffer in this chaos.
As someone who saw himself as a force for justice, he felt it was his duty to help everyone escape the horrors of war.
When Namikaze Minato heard that Kazama was planning to take on the other battlefields—and face three Kage-level shinobi—it sent a jolt of worry through him.
He rushed to Kazama, pleading, “Kazama, little brother, don’t be reckless! The Kazekage, Raikage, and Mizukage are even tougher than the Tsuchikage. If you’re not careful and they defeat you, it’d be a huge loss for Konoha!”
“Exactly,” Kakashi chimed in. “You just killed the Tsuchikage. Word of that will reach the other three Kage in no time. To take out a threat like you, they’ll definitely team up against you.”
Kazama just smiled and shook his head at Minato and Kakashi’s warnings.
At that moment, the Fourth Kazekage, Fourth Mizukage, and Third Raikage appeared before Kazama.
Just as Minato had predicted, the three Kage had heard about the Konoha genin who’d taken down the Tsuchikage. Naturally, they were shocked—and they couldn’t let Kazama live. They had to join forces to eliminate him.
But Kazama? He wasn’t scared at all.
In fact, he grinned at their arrival.
Even if they hadn’t come to him, Kazama was planning to track them down and force them to end the Shinobi World War.
Now that they were here, it was perfect—he’d make them witness his power and compel them to stop the fighting.
The Fourth Kazekage, Fourth Mizukage, and Third Raikage sized up Kazama, seeing nothing but a teenage kid. Yet this kid had killed the Tsuchikage? They were furious, feeling like Kazama’s actions were an insult to their status as Kage.
Without a word, they charged at him in an instant.
Minato and Kakashi were stunned.
Kakashi, overwhelmed by the presence of three Kage-level shinobi, collapsed to the ground in fear.
Minato, despite his incredible skill, couldn’t possibly take on three Kage at once. In just a few moments, he was being pushed back, barely holding his own.
“You damn bastard! We’ll kill you first!”
The Kazekage, Raikage, and Mizukage zeroed in on Minato, ready to cut him down. After all, Minato’s nickname, the Yellow Flash of the Leaf, made him a serious threat in their eyes.
But at that critical moment, Kazama used Tenshuriki to instantly swap places with Minato.
The three Kage’s attacks, meant for Minato, all landed on Kazama instead.
The Kazekage, Mizukage, and Raikage didn’t know how Kazama had switched places with Minato so fast, but they didn’t care.
To them, killing Minato or Kazama was the same—either way, they’d be taking out a key Konoha shinobi.
But what they didn’t expect was this:
Their combined attacks hit Kazama… and he was completely fine.
Not only that, he absorbed all three of their attacks into his body.
The three Kage were utterly shocked.
“What?! How is this possible?!”
“Is that kid some kind of monster?!”
They’d never seen a ninja who could absorb attacks like that.
As their disbelief sank in, Kazama gave them a cold smirk.
“Since you’ve already thrown your best shots at me, it’s time I show you what I’m capable of!”
Chapter 297: Thrashing Three Kage
“Heh, you little punk, aren’t you getting a bit too cocky?”
At that moment, the Kazekage, Mizukage, and Raikage burst into laughter, practically doubling over, when they heard that Kazama was about to strike back at them.
“Let me tell you, punk,” they sneered. “Don’t think just because you blocked our attacks, you can act all high and mighty in front of us!”
“Exactly! You might’ve stopped us once, but can you keep up with our second or third attacks?”
“Tch, enough with the chatter!”
Kazama eyed the three Kage-level shinobi, clearly no match for him, yet still daring to talk big. A cold smirk crossed his face. In the blink of an eye, he launched his counterattack.
What shocked them was that Kazama’s assault used their own signature moves—the Kazekage’s, Mizukage’s, and Raikage’s ultimate techniques.
The three Kage broke out in cold sweat, stumbling back several steps. They had assumed that even if Kazama could block their attacks, his counter wouldn’t be anything special. After all, no one could be perfect.
If a shinobi’s defense was top-notch, their offense was usually weak. If their attack power was razor-sharp, their defense was likely trash.
But they never expected Kazama to defy that logic. Not only was his defense incredible, but his attack power was downright monstrous.
In just a few exchanges, the legendary Kazekage, Mizukage, and Raikage were sent reeling, utterly outmatched by Kazama.
Namikaze Minato and the others watching from below could hardly believe their eyes. Even the subordinates of the three Kage were stunned, their jaws practically on the ground.
They never imagined their leaders—Kage, of all people—would be humiliated like this by a mere genin.
And to top it off, the three of them together couldn’t even hold a candle to Kazama alone.
This completely shattered their worldview. If they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, they wouldn’t have believed it even in their wildest dreams.
The three Kage, now realizing Kazama could actually bring them to their knees, were furious, their pride wounded.
Being defeated by an army of thousands of shinobi? That they could stomach. But getting thrashed by a single genin like Kazama? That was an insult they couldn’t bear.
Driven by rage, they unleashed every ounce of their power, throwing everything they had at him.
But no matter how strong or skilled they were, how could they possibly match Kazama?
With just a few clever moves, Kazama effortlessly sent the Kazekage, Raikage, and Mizukage flying again, their faces bruised and battered.
At this point, the three Kage noticed Kazama’s Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. They convinced themselves that his overwhelming strength and skill came solely from those eyes.
Glaring at him, they shouted, “Listen, punk! If you really want to end this fight, killing us won’t do you any good!”
“Oh?” Kazama raised an eyebrow. “Then tell me, how do I make you stop?”
Though the three Kage weren’t outright begging for mercy, their tone had softened. Kazama caught it and smirked coldly.
“Heh, it’s simple,” they replied. “If you want us to admit defeat, you’ve got to fight us fair and square, no tricks, just pure skill!”
Chapter 298: Scaring the Three Kage Silly
“Cut the crap. Right now, I’m fighting you three fair and square, one against three. Isn’t that sincere enough?”
“Sincere? Hardly!” one of them shot back. “You’re using those Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. Everyone in the shinobi world knows how legendary those eyes are. If you can beat us without them, then we’ll acknowledge you as our leader!”
“Fine, have it your way!”
Hearing their demand that he not use his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Kazama let out a cold smirk.
The three Kage—Kazekage, Tsuchikage, and Raikage—burst into wild laughter when Kazama agreed to their terms. They figured that without his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, this cocky kid Kazama was nothing but a weakling, a nobody who couldn’t hold his own.
With that thought, the three charged at him, ready to take him down.
But they hadn’t counted on one thing: Kazama might’ve stopped using his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, but the next moment, he activated his Rinnegan.
Before they could react, Kazama unleashed Shinra Tensei, blasting all three of them a hundred meters away.
The three Kage exchanged shocked glances, shouting that Kazama was a monster. They were already stunned by his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, but now? Seeing him wield the Rinnegan—eyes only the Sage of the Six Paths was said to possess—how could they not be floored?
In a split second, they turned to flee.
But escape? In front of Kazama’s Rinnegan? Not a chance.
Kazama extended a single hand and used Banshō Ten’in, yanking the three back to him like ragdolls. Standing over them, he asked coolly, “So, ready to submit to me now?”
“Submit to your mom!” one of them spat.
Kazama had been trying to reason with them patiently, but these three Kage-level shinobi had the gall to curse him out. How could he not be pissed?
He unleashed Shinra Tensei again, sending them crashing to the ground. Then Banshō Ten’in to pull them back, followed by another Shinra Tensei.
Back and forth, in just a few moments, he had them dizzy and battered.
By now, the three Kage realized they stood no chance. They couldn’t fathom why Kazama was so insanely powerful, but thinking about it was pointless. They were outmatched, plain and simple.
Desperate, they dropped to their knees, begging. “Kazama, little brother, we were wrong! We shouldn’t have acted so cocky. Please, spare our sorry lives!”
“Oh? For real?” Kazama’s heart swelled with satisfaction seeing these three Kage grovel.
“Heh, of course!” one stammered. “If you think we’re not sincere, we’ll kowtow and apologize right now!”
“Yeah, we’re dead serious!” another added. “Please, believe us!”
Chapter 299: Going Back to Confront Danzō
“Heh, now that’s more like it!”
Seeing the three Kage genuinely intimidated, Kazama nodded with a grin.
“Let me tell you, I, Kazama, am a man of iron will. I don’t change my name or hide my face. Beating you three to a pulp wasn’t about making you bow to me.”
“Oh? You went through all this trouble to thrash and humiliate us, and it’s not to make us submit? Then what’s it for?” one of them asked.
“Heh, obviously to put an end to this war and bring peace to the shinobi world!”
“What?”
Hearing that Kazama only wanted them to stop the conflict and restore peace to the shinobi world, Kazekage, Raikage, and Mizukage exchanged stunned glances.
They knew someone with Kazama’s insane power could easily aim to unify the entire shinobi world under his rule. But they never imagined that, despite his overwhelming strength, Kazama had no interest in dominating the shinobi world. Instead, he told them to return to their villages and continue leading as Kage.
This filled their hearts with gratitude.
When the Konoha forces saw Kazama single-handedly end the Third Shinobi World War, they were filled with awe and admiration for him.
But while some rejoiced, others fumed. Kazama’s incredible feats quickly reached the ears of Danzō, the leader of Konoha’s Root.
Now, in the real world, Kazama had already killed Danzō. But in this parallel world, Danzō was very much alive—and younger, too, thanks to the timeline of the Third Shinobi World War. Not only that, but his strength was greater, his ambition fiercer, and his cunning sharper.
When Danzō heard that Konoha had produced such a powerhouse, he was shocked. And when he learned Kazama not only had immense strength but also possessed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, he burst into wild laughter.
Everyone knew Danzō had a thing for collecting Sharingan. His entire right arm was practically a gallery of transplanted Sharingan eyes. Naturally, he coveted Kazama’s Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Without wasting a moment, Danzō ordered his subordinates to lure Kazama to him.
But one of his Root underlings, hearing that Danzō planned to move against Kazama—the hero who saved Konoha—hesitated, his face clouding with unease.
Danzō, the old fox, didn’t miss this. Seeing his subordinate dare to question his orders, he flew into a rage. With a single palm strike, he crippled the man on the spot.
The sudden violence sent the other Root members stumbling back in fear. They hadn’t expected Danzō to turn on his own so ruthlessly.
Danzō glared at them. “Listen up, you worthless bastards! I, Danzō, don’t repeat myself. You’re my subordinates, yet you dare defy me? If you don’t follow my orders, I’ll grind your bones to dust. Understood?”
“Understood! We wouldn’t dare disobey!” they chorused.
But despite their words, deep down, many of them harbored resentment toward Danzō.
Chapter 300: Danzō Tries to Act Tough
The others were too intimidated by Danzō’s overwhelming strength and skill. Even if they had the guts of a bear or the courage of a leopard, they didn’t dare defy him. So, they had no choice but to back off.
Seeing that no one dared to challenge him, Danzō let out a cold smirk.
Without wasting a moment, he sent his subordinates to summon Kazama.
Danzō figured that his secret organization, Root, was so well-hidden within Konoha that hardly anyone knew of its existence. Even if Kazama was aware of it, there was no way he’d suspect Danzō’s true intentions.
What Danzō didn’t know, however, was that Kazama wasn’t from this world—he came from the real world.
Kazama had long seen through Danzō’s scheming nature and knew the old man was up to no good.
Just as Kazama was about to hop into a time machine to travel back to the era of the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, Danzō’s men showed up, inviting him to Root’s headquarters. Kazama couldn’t help but smirk coldly at the request.
To his surprise, Konoha had officially sent word that Danzō wanted to meet him. This only made Kazama’s smirk grow wider.
Meanwhile, Namikaze Minato and the others were clueless about Danzō’s true ambitions.
Beaming with excitement, Minato clapped Kazama on the shoulder and said, “Hey, Kazama, my little brother, congratulations are in order!”
“Congratulate me? For what?”
Kazama was utterly confused by Minato’s words, his brow furrowing.
“Heh, you might not know this, Kazama, but Danzō-sama is one of Konoha’s top brass. If he’s summoning you, there’s a good chance he’s about to entrust you with a major mission! Isn’t that worth celebrating?”
“Is that so?”
Hearing Minato’s explanation, Kazama burst out laughing.
He was tempted to lay bare Danzō’s ugly true face to Minato right then and there. But Kazama realized he had no proof. No matter how much he said, it wouldn’t matter and might even make Minato suspicious of him.
So, he just nodded with a smile and let it go.
In the next moment, Kazama made his way to Root’s headquarters.
When Danzō saw Kazama stroll so casually into his domain, he smirked coldly.
Putting on a fake, pompous air, Danzō addressed him. “You, kid. I’ve never seen you around Konoha before. Who are you, exactly? Why is your strength so extraordinary? And more importantly, you’re not even from the Uchiha clan, so how do you have a Mangekyō Sharingan?”
“Oh, really?”
Kazama saw right through the old fox. In a single breath, Danzō had steered the conversation straight to his Mangekyō Sharingan. Kazama’s smirk grew colder.
He fired back, “Whether I’m an Uchiha or not doesn’t seem to concern you, does it? And whether I have a Mangekyō Sharingan is none of your business either. If you’ve got nothing else to say, I’ll be on my way.”
“Insolent brat!” Danzō roared, his face twisting with rage at Kazama’s defiance. “You think this is some place you can just waltz in and out of?”
Furious, he ordered his men to seal off every exit from Root’s headquarters.
Seeing Danzō so eager to make a move against him, Kazama’s smirk didn’t falter.
He turned to Danzō and said, “Let me make this clear, Danzō. I, Kazama, have never hidden who I am. I helped Konoha fend off attacks from the four great nations. I single-handedly put an end to the Shinobi World War. So, what’s this? Are you really going to raise a hand against me now?”
