Time flew by, and it was soon January 12th. Niddy had already been discharged from the hospital a few days ago. After all, hospital fees in America are not cheap, and insurance companies always try to get you out as early as possible.
To give Niddy the biggest surprise, Roy and Lilith had been acting rather cold towards her these past few days.
So, on her birthday, Niddy was still completely unaware of Roy and Jennifer's plans.
Well, even though Lilith seemed a bit unreliable, she still carried out Jennifer's plan from before.
"Niddy, I have a gift for you! Come and see! Ta-da!"
Lilith took out the gift box that Jennifer had prepared long ago and handed it to Niddy.
"What's this? Oh my gosh!"
Opening the gift box, Niddy saw a beautiful pink princess dress and a princess tiara.
Niddy looked at the princess dress and tiara in surprise, her face full of delight.
"Happy birthday, Niddy!"
"Jennifer, I... I thought you forgot!"
"Ha, how could I forget? Does this make it more of a surprise? Come on, hurry up and try on this princess dress!"
Lilith reached out to help Niddy change, a gesture that made Niddy a little shy.
"Jennifer, stop it, it tickles!"
Changing clothes quickly turned into a playful fight, and the two girls started tickling each other.
In this aspect, Lilith clearly had the upper hand. After all, she was using Jennifer's body, and Jennifer was a former cheerleader captain, much stronger physically than Niddy, who was hopeless at sports.
As a result, Niddy was quickly pinned down by Lilith.
"Niddy, have you ever kissed Roy?"
Niddy covered her face, her expression becoming very shy, but she still nodded.
"Then... how did it feel?"
"It's hard to describe, it felt like a dream!"
"So, would you like to take it a step further?"
Niddy's face flushed instantly.
"Jennifer, how can you say such things?"
"Huh! Looking at your expression, you've definitely thought about it! Still not admitting it!"
"Ah—stop talking!"
Niddy shyly covered Lilith's mouth, trying to stop her from continuing.
Just at this moment, Jennifer's phone rang, and the two immediately stopped their playful fight.
"Jennifer, your phone is ringing."
Lilith got up, picked up her phone, and glanced at it. It was Roy's call.
"Is it Roy?"
"Are you girls ready yet? I've already driven to your doorstep!"
As he spoke, the sound of a car horn came from outside the window. It was Roy honking to remind Lilith.
"We know! Girls take a long time to get ready! Don't you want to see the most perfect Niddy?"
"Alright, I'll be downstairs. Hurry up as much as you can."
Girls usually take a lot of time to change and get ready. Roy waited for nearly an hour before seeing Niddy and Lilith come out.
"Niddy, you look like a real princess tonight!"
Roy took the initiative to step forward and gave a very formal chest-touching salute, pressing his hand to his chest and bowing slightly.
Tonight, to match her princess dress, Niddy had deliberately not worn her black-framed glasses, which significantly enhanced her appearance.
"You too, Roy, you look like a prince!"
Well, tonight Roy had also specially rented a formal suit, which looked exceptionally handsome on him.
Even Lilith, who was originally in a somewhat bad mood, felt her eyes light up when she saw Roy and kept licking her lips.
"Let's get in the car, Princess. Come and see the surprise I've prepared."
Roy reached out and helped Niddy into the passenger seat, and Lilith followed suit.
"Should I close my eyes first?"
The clever Niddy had already roughly guessed what surprise Roy was going to give her, but sometimes it's more fun to pretend you don't know.
"I'll use this black cloth to blindfold you."
"Mmhmm, go ahead!"
"Can you still see?"
"I can't see anything."
"Great, let's go then."
Roy started the yellow Chevrolet Camaro and drove towards Oak High School.
Not long after Roy and the others left, a nun stepped into Waterfall Town but was stopped by Sheriff Hughes.
"Hey, ma'am, where are you from?"
"Sir, I come from the side of God."
Sheriff Hughes was a bit speechless. He felt that the hot-bodied nun in front of him seemed a little off.
"Oh, yes, we all come from the side of God. So, what brings you to Waterfall Town?"
"To end the enemies of God."
Sheriff Hughes slapped his forehead. He was also a devout believer, but he felt like he couldn't continue talking to this nun.
After carefully looking at the nun, he saw a holy look on her face, and she didn't seem like a bad person. So, Sheriff Hughes decided to let her pass.
"What's your name?"
"Isabella."
"Alright, you can go. Here's my contact information. You can call me if you run into any trouble."
Sheriff Hughes handed a business card to the nun.
"Thank you, Sheriff. You are a good man."
After speaking, the nun also walked towards Oak High School.
Sheriff Hughes scratched his head. Being praised as a good man by a beautiful nun actually made him a little shy.
"She actually praised me as a good man. Could it be that she has taken a liking to me? Hehe!"
At this time, Roy had already arrived at Oak High School. He helped Niddy out of the car and headed towards the school auditorium.
Because she couldn't see and was wearing a princess dress, Niddy had to walk very carefully, otherwise she might trip.
"Roy, are we there yet?"
"Almost there, very soon."
After walking for another five minutes or so, Roy finally stopped.
"We're here, my princess. You can take off the blindfold now."
Niddy untied the black cloth and found herself standing in a pitch-black room. Roy and Lilith, who had just been beside her, were gone.
"Roy? Jennifer? Where are you?"
The sudden change made Niddy feel a little flustered, but soon the lights in the room turned on.
Only then did Niddy realize that she was in the school auditorium, and the auditorium had been decorated for a birthday party. Almost all the students and teachers in the school had appeared at the party.
"Happy birthday, Niddy!"
Everyone said happy birthday to Niddy in unison, and Roy pushed a three-tiered cake to her side.
Niddy was deeply moved. She had never received so much attention from so many people as she did today, and it was all thanks to Roy.
"Niddy, are you ready to make a wish?"
"Yeah!"
The lights went off again, and Niddy began to make a wish on the cake.
At this moment, no one noticed that there was still someone on the rafters of the auditorium.
I hope I can be with Roy and Jennifer forever!
After making her wish, Niddy opened her eyes and blew out the candles on the cake.
"Niddy, what did you wish for?"
Facing Roy's question, Niddy smiled and shook her head.
"I'm not telling you!"
Carly leaned over and said in a funny tone.
"I bet the princess's wish is definitely related to the prince!"
The surrounding students started to jeer, making Niddy, who was already quite socially awkward, feel extremely shy.
Then, Wade, who liked to joke around, stood up.
"Is it time for the cake-throwing part next?"
Roy's expression changed. His tuxedo was rented because he still needed to gain weight later, and the current tuxedo would definitely not fit in the future, so he hadn't bought a new one directly.
If it got stained with cake, he would have to pay for it himself.
"Stop! There's no cake-throwing tonight! Anyone who dares to throw cake will have their head twisted off!"
Roy's deterrence was still very terrifying. Wade immediately shrank his head, and no one mentioned throwing cake again.
At this time, the band Roy had hired began to play music, and the students immediately forgot about throwing cake and started to enter the dance floor to dance.
"Princess, may I have this dance?"
The newest and fastest novels are all first published here!
Roy reached out his hand to Niddy, and Niddy's eyes lit up with joy.
"It's my honor, Prince!"
Roy took Niddy's hand and entered the dance floor. The surrounding students all made way, letting Roy and the protagonist of the night dance.
Niddy's movements were a bit clumsy, looking like her limbs were uncoordinated, but luckily Roy was leading her.
Just like the pairs skating in Aspen, Niddy didn't need to do anything; Roy would guide her through the movements.
As one song ended, Roy pulled the panting Niddy to a seat to rest for a while.
"Niddy, how do you feel about tonight's birthday party?"
"I'm so happy, it's like a dream!"
"It makes me happy that you're happy. All my preparations weren't in vain."
Niddy blinked her eyes, which were completely filled with Roy, unable to see anyone else.
"So, this was the surprise you and Jennifer planned together?"
"Well—not entirely. We just reached an agreement, and then each prepared a surprise. Niddy, which surprise do you like more?"
Niddy smiled.
"I like them both!"
"What are you guys talking about?"
Roy was whispering to Niddy when Lilith suddenly leaned over.
"Nothing much! Jennifer, would you like to dance with Roy too?"
"Can I invite the prince tonight?"
"Of course!"
"Then, Prince, could you give me a chance?"
Roy looked at Lilith. The woman was wearing a sexy deep-V red dress tonight, revealing a deep cleavage.
If Niddy looked like a sweet and lovely princess, then Lilith was a sexy and charming queen.
Huh, how did the seniority suddenly go up?
"Of course, no problem!"
Lilith reached out and pulled Roy onto the dance floor. This woman was different from Niddy. Her dance moves were gorgeous and elegant, simply impeccable.
However, halfway through the dance, Lilith suddenly hugged Roy and leaned close to his ear.
Roy thought this woman was going to cause trouble again, but he heard her speak in a serious voice.
"Roy, something's wrong!"
"What's wrong?"
"I sense a strong aura of death. Something terrible is definitely going to happen next!"
Aura of death?
Roy felt a little strange, but he knew that Lilith's perception was very strong, as demonstrated when dealing with Pennywise.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course, I'm sure..."
Halfway through her sentence, Lilith's expression suddenly became terrified.
"Damn it, how did that guy get here!"
After speaking, Lilith suddenly went limp and leaned on Roy as if she had lost consciousness.
This situation caught Roy off guard, and he quickly helped Lilith to the side.
Everyone looked at Roy with strange eyes, thinking he had done something to Lilith.
"Hey, wake up!"
"Roy, what happened?"
Niddy noticed Roy and Lilith's situation and immediately came over to check.
At this time, a short-haired girl left the auditorium because she urgently needed to use the restroom. She went to the women's restroom next to the auditorium to relieve herself.
However, after entering the women's restroom, the girl noticed a large red wooden box in the center of the room.
After curiously glancing at it, the girl didn't pay much attention and went into a stall to pee first.
After finishing, the girl went to the mirror to check her makeup. This is why women take so long in the restroom.
Suddenly, the large red wooden box made a noise, startling the girl.
The noise sounded very much like it was coming from a person. Could there be someone locked inside the red wooden box?
The girl observed the red wooden box. Driven by curiosity, she began to try to open it.
The latch on the large wooden box was very simple and not locked. The girl quickly succeeded.
The buttons on the large red wooden box popped open automatically, and a middle-aged man covered in injuries rolled out from inside.
As soon as this man saw the girl, he immediately pounced on her.
"Ah—"
The girl screamed, and then she saw an arrow fly past the spot where she had just been standing.
It turned out that the middle-aged man wanted to save himself, not take advantage of her.
The middle-aged man quickly got up and walked towards the vent where the arrow had just been shot from. There was a crossbow and a camera there.
"You... who are you?"
After getting up, the girl was still a bit shaken.
"That's not important. What's important is that the people here are in trouble! How many people are outside?"
"Hundreds of people, what's wrong?"
"So many people!"
The middle-aged man's expression was quite grave. He took down the crossbow and camera from the vent and prepared to leave.
"Wait a minute, what did you mean by 'in trouble' just now?"
The middle-aged man didn't stop.
"If I were you, I would leave this building immediately. Maybe that way you can save your life!"
Hearing that people might die, the girl immediately became nervous.
"Sir, are you telling the truth? Sir, please wait for me!"
The two walked out of the women's restroom one after another. Just then, a boy also came out of the auditorium wanting to use the restroom.
This boy was obviously in a hurry to pee and didn't even notice a middle-aged man walking out of the women's restroom.
"Brad, can you do me a favor?"
"Later, Elena, I really need to pee!"
As he spoke, the boy rushed into the men's restroom, and then he felt like he had kicked something, like a tripwire.
"Whoa—"
A nail board fell from the sky and nailed the boy in the face. The guy fell backward and landed on another tripwire.
Instantly, Elena and the middle-aged man heard the sound of a mechanism being triggered.
Another Lilith (with more clothes on version)
Chapter 89: The Collector
In the grand hall, Jennifer slowly opened her eyes.
"Roy, how did I get here?"
Hearing that familiar voice, Roy immediately understood that Jennifer had regained control of her body.
So, Lilith sensed someone's arrival just now and got scared, abandoning control of Jennifer and running off?
"Jennifer, don't you remember anything?"
Roy helped Jennifer up. She frowned, seemingly deep in thought.
"I seem to remember some things, it's so strange, like I was observing from a third-person perspective."
So Jennifer could see what Lilith was doing. Luckily, I didn't do anything weird during that time.
Niddy looked at Roy and Jennifer strangely.
"What are you two talking about? What third-person perspective?"
Roy was about to explain when he suddenly saw Jennifer looking at the ceiling with a terrified expression.
"Watch out!"
Amidst the pleasant music, Roy heard some strange noises. He turned his head and saw a huge, spiked roller falling from the ceiling.
It was like a reaper designed to harvest lives!
"What the f***!"
Roy's first reaction was to use all his strength to throw Jennifer and Niddy towards the entrance of the grand hall before facing the combine harvester above his head.
At this moment, the students happily dancing on the dance floor hadn't yet realized that death was descending from above.
"Roy!" ×2
Jennifer and Niddy called Roy's name from the doorway. Suddenly, they felt a figure rush past them.
Looking closely, it was a tall, sexy figure in a nun's habit, seen from the back.
This nun took long strides, covering ground quickly, and in a few steps, she reached the bottom of the combine harvester and leaped up.
Roy had actually already prepared to transform into his Son of the Devil form and deal with that combine harvester. Otherwise, if hundreds of people died in one night, and they were all invited to his birthday party, it would be impossible to explain.
The sudden appearance of this nun surprised Roy. The aura emanating from her made him feel like he was seeing Elizabeth in full power that morning when she was riding him.
Who is she?
As Roy wondered, the nun had already leaped high up. Her long legs emitted a dazzling white light as she kicked the combine harvester.
Boom!
The combine harvester was kicked back, directly breaking a roof beam and embedding itself in the ceiling. The mysterious person hiding in the ceiling almost got killed by their own trap.
At this point, the students in the grand hall finally realized they had just brushed shoulders with death. No one was in the mood to dance anymore, and they frantically ran towards the exit of the hall.
There were a few particularly noticeable people among them. One was the nun who had just kicked the combine harvester away. She was frowning as she looked at Roy.
"The Eye of Judgment tells me you are a good person, but why do I sense a disgusting scent on you?"
Roy had a rough idea who this nun was. Without a doubt, it was the person who forced the great demon king Elizabeth to take leave and run away to avoid trouble.
Although Elizabeth might not necessarily be weaker than this nun, for the King of Sloth, the less trouble, the better.
Looking calmly at the nun, Roy knew that the mark Elizabeth had placed on him earlier was working, which was why the nun hadn't directly seen him as the Son of the Devil.
I need to find a way to divert the nun's attention!
So, Roy spread his hands, deliberately acting like a greasy guy.
"Could it be that I look a lot like your ex-boyfriend?"
As soon as he said this, the nun indeed rolled her eyes and turned her head, instead looking at someone hiding in the ceiling.
"I see sin!"
With that, the nun pulled out two handguns from her thin nun's robe and fired at the ceiling. This action intensified the panic in the hall.
Roy also saw the mysterious person lurking in the ceiling at this moment. This guy was wearing a leather hood, so his face couldn't be seen, but from his burly figure, he should be an adult male.
The hooded man reacted very quickly, seemingly having considerable experience in gunfights. He nimbly moved on the roof beams, perfectly dodging the nun's bullets.
However, this was also related to the nun's rather average marksmanship. Based on Roy's skills learned from Bob Mundane, the nun had probably only recently started using firearms, and her shooting stance and technique were quite amateurish.
The hooded man on the roof beam rushed to the wall and pressed a button. All the doors of the grand hall automatically closed, trapping the students who hadn't yet escaped inside.
"Roy, are you alright?"
Jennifer and Niddy went against the flow of the crowd to Roy's side, looking at him with concern.
"I'm fine, why didn't you guys go out?"
"We were worried about you!"
Hearing Jennifer's voice, the nun turned her head to glance at her, then frowned deeply.
This look made Roy feel uneasy. He began to suspect that Lilith suddenly giving up control of Jennifer's body might have been because she sensed the nun.
F***! That woman ran so fast without explaining anything, leaving Roy to cover up for the clueless Jennifer.
"Madam, that guy is trying to escape!"
Roy quickly pointed to the roof beam, reminding the nun. The nun looked at the hooded man and indeed saw him preparing to escape through the skylight of the grand hall.
He must have sensed that something was wrong with the nun and chose a tactical retreat.
This was a very wise choice. The combine harvester set up by the hooded man definitely weighed over a ton, yet it was kicked into the ceiling by the nun. This was simply beyond human capabilities.
However, before leaving, this guy also activated all the traps he had set up.
First, a huge iron cage fell from the sky, just covering Roy and the nun.
Then, a slowly descending hydraulic press appeared on the ceiling, its size just enough to cover the iron cage trapping Roy and the others.
The force of this metal hydraulic press could crush a car into a metal sheet. Even Roy in his Son of the Devil form wasn't sure if he could withstand it.
"Roy, what do we do?"
Jennifer and Niddy both looked at Roy, their pillar of strength.
If the nun wasn't there, Roy reckoned he would have already pulled out his chainsaw sword and sawed through the iron cage, but now he could only look at the nun.
"Hmph!"
The nun snorted coldly and twisted off a bar of the iron cage with one hand, a bar almost as thick as her slender arm. This scene made Niddy and Jennifer's eyes widen in disbelief.
She easily dealt with the hooded man's hydraulic press trap, but he had already taken the opportunity to escape the grand hall.
The nun directly broke through the doors of the grand hall, preparing to chase after the hooded man. This made Roy breathe a sigh of relief.
This dangerous woman had finally left. Just standing next to her made Roy feel like his skin was being pricked by needles.
It was really too dangerous.
At this moment, Jennifer beside him suddenly started to have a headache. She gasped for breath and hugged Roy.
"Roy, Lilith told me to tell you, there's still danger!"
"What!"
Without hesitation, Roy picked up Jennifer and Niddy beside him and rushed towards the exit of the grand hall. Almost as soon as he reached the door, an explosion occurred behind him.
Boom!
The strong force pushed Roy dozens of meters away, and he fell heavily to the ground.
"Niddy, Jennifer, are you guys alright?"
"I'm fine, Roy, just a bit sore from the fall."
Niddy rubbed her back, wincing in pain.
Jennifer's expression didn't change at all. She was a little surprised that she didn't feel any pain, even a faint sense of pleasure.
Then, Jennifer noticed that Roy's face was pale and there was some cold sweat on his forehead. She immediately realized that he was injured.
Feeling Roy's back, she indeed felt a lot of blood. He must have been injured in the back during the explosion just now.
"Roy, you're injured!"
Seeing the blood on Jennifer's hand, Niddy also realized what had happened.
"I'm fine, it's not a big deal. It's just that the deposit for this rented suit is definitely gone."
Roy was indeed mostly fine. These were all superficial injuries. With his physique of 36, he would recover in about half an hour.
But he really felt the pain for this rented suit. It was a high-end outfit Roy had specially rented from Austin, and the deposit alone was tens of thousands of dollars. Now, the deposit was definitely gone.
It really made Roy's liver hurt with anger.
The newest and fastest updated novels are all here!
Jennifer didn't know Roy's true condition and thought he was trying to comfort her and Niddy.
"Roy, you're still joking at a time like this! Niddy, quickly call an ambulance!"
Hearing this, Roy quickly stopped Niddy, who was taking out her phone. Calling an ambulance in America wasn't cheap, and even if you didn't get in the ambulance after it arrived, you still had to pay. He didn't want to further increase his losses.
"No need, Niddy! I'm really fine!"
As he spoke, Roy stood up and jumped twice, but unfortunately, this action looked a bit comical because of his injured back.
Niddy and Jennifer were a little doubtful. At this moment, the other students injured by the explosion began to wail.
Not everyone had a physique like Roy, or was as lucky as Jennifer and Niddy.
Roy observed his surroundings. Injured students were lying on the ground wailing, while those who had escaped were like they had lost their souls. None of them had ever encountered such a terrifying event.
The hooded man and the nun had both disappeared without a trace, no one knew where they had run off to.
However, Roy saw a strange middle-aged man in the distance leaving the scene in a hurry.
Who is this person?
"Jennifer, Niddy, quickly call the police and an ambulance for the injured students. I'll be right back!"
After taking a few steps, Roy came back and handed Jennifer the cursed dagger of Kayako.
"This dagger can protect you. That hooded man might come back, so stay vigilant!"
With that, Roy chased after the strange middle-aged man. He had a premonition that this disheveled middle-aged man might know something.
The middle-aged man was quite alert and quickly noticed Roy rushing over, then took off running.
Unfortunately, Roy's agility had reached 24, which put his sprinting speed at an Olympic level.
How could the middle-aged man be Roy's opponent, especially since he was clearly injured?
Roy punched the middle-aged man to the ground, grabbed his collar, and began to interrogate him.
"Why are you running? Who are you? Are you with that hooded man?"
The middle-aged man realized he couldn't beat Roy and immediately raised his hands to surrender.
"Wait! Sir, you must have misunderstood. I'm actually a victim too! I was brought here by the Collector!"
The Collector?
This name sounded a bit familiar to Roy, like a villain from some horror movie.
"Tell me your name, and then tell me everything you know!"
Feeling the terrifying aura emanating from Roy, the middle-aged man began to tremble all over. However, this guy had good willpower and could remain calm under such pressure.
"I'll tell you everything, will you let me go?"
"That depends on whether what you say is valuable!"
The middle-aged man quickly started spilling everything he knew like pouring beans.
This guy's name was Arkham. He was originally a professional thief operating in California. One time, while breaking into someone's house to steal, he accidentally stumbled upon a perverted killer.
"That guy is called the Collector. He likes to break into other people's homes, set up various traps, and brutally torture and kill them. Sometimes he even puts people in wooden boxes and takes them away as collectibles. I used to be one of his collectibles!"
Hearing this, Roy already knew which horror movie plot this was from: the movie The Collector!
The director and screenwriter of this movie were also the screenwriters of another classic horror film, Saw. Roy watched this movie in his previous life specifically because of that.
It has to be said that this movie, like Saw, follows the route of mechanical traps for killing. Overall, it's quite good, but unfortunately, due to copyright issues, the movie only had two installments.
Roy remembered that the male protagonist in the movie went through both parts one and two, was brave and resourceful, and was a very crucial character.
"In that case, you must know where the Collector's hiding place is. Tell me!"
Arkham hesitated for a moment. The Collector's hiding place was like a devil's den to him, and he didn't want to recall it at all.
"Immediately, tell me!"
As he spoke, Roy directly used the ability of the Shadow of Fear, releasing the power of fear.
After seeing Roy's golden pupils, Arkham immediately fell into a terrifying illusion, which caused his will to show signs of collapse.
"No! Don't hurt me, I'll say anything!"
However, very unfortunately, just as Arkham was about to reveal the Collector's hiding place, the police arrived at the scene.
The piercing sound of the police siren brought Arkham back to his senses and ruined Roy's plan.
"Damn it!"
The police took Arkham away but didn't make things difficult for Roy, the party organizer. However, Roy wasn't completely without gain.
"Roy, look at this!"
Niddy suddenly handed Roy a small box.
"What's this? A camera?"
After fiddling with the small box, Roy found a lens.
Niddy nodded.
"This is a wireless camera. It can transmit what it records to a nearby server via a wireless network."
This kind of thing would only be considered ordinary in 20 years, but in the present day, it was definitely a high-tech product. Ordinary people couldn't get their hands on something like this.
"Could it be that this guy uses the camera to film the scenes of mechanical torture and killing?"
This method reminded Roy of a certain organization, and Jennifer, another person who knew what was going on, also thought of it.
"Roy, could it be the dark web?"
"Dark web? What dark web? Jennifer, Roy, are you two hiding something from me?"
A real man never looks back at explosions.
