*Chapter 81: Pennywise Returns*
🕑 Added 2025-05-23 17:38:13 +0000 UTC"Okay, actually, something similar happened to Needy when she was little. I'm not sure if it's the same thing this time."
Arthur put his glasses back on, a pained expression on his face, clearly the memory wasn't pleasant.
Rebecca, who was wiping away tears, continued her husband's story.
"Actually, we originally had another child, Needy's younger brother. I'll never forget that afternoon. Needy was playing with her brother in the yard, and then it suddenly started raining heavily. I wanted to call both children back inside to take shelter, but then I realized our younger son, Andy, was gone. Only Needy was lying in the yard, convulsing."
Arthur held his head in anguish.
"We rushed Needy to the hospital while searching everywhere for Andy. However, Andy was as if he'd been washed away down a drain. We couldn't find him no matter how hard we looked. The only clue was that when Needy lost consciousness, she kept muttering the word 'clown'. But I asked the neighbors and people passing by, and no one had seen a clown near our house!"
"After that, Needy had a high fever for a long time and lost her memory of that time, she didn't even remember ever having a younger brother. So, we moved away from that town and settled in Gravity Falls, hoping to forget those painful memories. We never expected this to happen today..."
Arthur and Rebecca hugged each other, their pain making Jennifer feel deeply uncomfortable as well.
Roy frowned deeply. He was thinking about a lot of things. Arthur and Rebecca's description was too similar to the classic horror movie "It" that he had seen in his previous life.
If it really was that clown from "It", then what happened to Needy could be explained. No wonder Needy has such a severe fear of clowns!
Roy pulled Jennifer aside and told her some of the information he knew.
"Roy, is what you're saying true?"
Jennifer had experienced the "Halloween" incident and was already quite open to supernatural things. After hearing Roy's description, she was already starting to believe it.
"I'm not completely sure yet, but it's probably very close to the truth. Anyway, if I'm not around recently, you need to be careful!"
Jennifer nodded solemnly.
"I won't let anything hurt Needy!"
"Jennifer, don't worry, I'll investigate this as soon as possible. If it really was that damn clown who did this, I'll definitely wring its neck!"
The murderous aura emanating from Roy seemed to lower the temperature of the entire hallway.
At this moment, the lights in the emergency room went off, which meant the emergency treatment was over.

Soon after, Needy was wheeled out by a nurse. Roy saw the blonde girl lying pale on the mobile hospital bed, with an oxygen mask on her face.
Arthur and Rebecca quickly rushed to the doctor to ask.
"Doctor, how is Needy?"
"After the emergency treatment, the patient's vital signs have temporarily stabilized. However, I haven't figured out what happened to her yet. Most of her physical indicators are actually normal. Continued observation for a while might reveal something, or you could transfer the patient to a hospital in a bigger city."
The medical resources in a small town definitely can't compare to those in big cities, but getting treatment in a big city either costs a lot of money or requires connections. Otherwise, you can only slowly wait in line. If you're lucky, your illness might get better on its own while you're waiting, then you naturally won't need treatment. If you're unlucky, you might die before you even get to treatment, then you also won't need treatment. What a remarkably advanced medical system!
Hearing this, Arthur immediately took out his phone.
"You guys arrange an observation room first, I'll make a call and ask."
So, Needy was sent to the observation room. Roy and Jennifer stood outside the observation room, watching the unconscious Needy.
"You two should go back and rest. You have classes tomorrow, and I'll be here to watch over her." After watching for a while, Rebecca started persuading Roy and Jennifer to go home.
To be honest, after something like this happened, Roy and Jennifer were in no mood to go to class, but just standing there and watching wouldn't help either. After thinking for a moment, Roy decided to listen to Rebecca.
"Jennifer, let's go first. We'll come see Needy again tomorrow."
Jennifer nodded, then took a deep look at Needy before leaving with Roy.
At this moment, Roy noticed that the rain in Gravity Falls was getting heavier and heavier.
Roy took Jennifer straight back to Needy's house. After something like this, Roy wasn't in the mood for a round two with Jennifer.
However, Roy didn't go back to his own house either, but instead headed to a manor in the suburbs, though not the Sawyer Manor.
"Have a seat. I didn't expect you to suddenly visit me in the middle of the night."
Elizabeth was wearing a light silk robe, seemingly oblivious to the cold, holding a wine glass as she sat on a luxurious armchair.
Roy sat down opposite Elizabeth. Because of the angle, he could easily see what was under Elizabeth's silk robe. This woman was apparently going commando under her robe, she really didn't treat Roy like an outsider.
"So, what brings you here?"

Elizabeth took a sip from her wine glass.
Generally, these kinds of wine glasses are used for red wine, but the red liquid in Elizabeth's glass was so vibrant that it was hard not to think of something else.
Roy wasn't in a good mood right now, so he didn't want to beat around the bush with Elizabeth and directly asked his question.
"Teacher Elizabeth, I want to ask you if you know about a monster like this."
Although Roy had the Key of Solomon, the Key of Solomon only recorded demons of hell, and the original version was thousands of years old, so it might not be up to date. Therefore, Roy wanted to ask Elizabeth, whose true form was the demon king Belial, the King of Sloth, a great demon who had lived for who knows how many years and definitely knew things humans didn't.
After listening to Roy's detailed description of the monster, Elizabeth showed a strange expression.
"I didn't expect that thing to show up again. Alright, I do know what that thing is, but why should I tell you?"
Elizabeth winked at Roy, a mysterious smile on her lips.
Roy knew that this trip tonight wouldn't be so simple. No matter what, Elizabeth was still a demon, you couldn't expect a demon to suddenly have a burst of kindness and do good deeds, right?
"Wasn't helping you solve Nancy's problem enough?"
"Are you sure you want to use that reward here? Maybe my reward will be beyond your imagination!"
Elizabeth looked at Roy in surprise.
"We can talk about the future later, I need to solve the current problem right now!"
Roy didn't hesitate at all.
"Alright, but before that, you have to satisfy me."
"Huh? Now?"
"During the day, didn't you say you were very good at talking back to teachers?"
Helpless, Roy could only start taking off his armor.
"Wait a minute, let me cast a spell first."
Whoosh, the baton turned into a mortar.
