Chapter 905: Success and an Unexpected Surprise
🕑 Added 2025-06-08 15:37:04 +0000 UTCAfter pondering for a long while, Seimei finally decided not to waste any more time. He raised his hands and formed a series of hand seals, then activated the Multi Shadow Clone Technique (Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu).
Boom! Boom! Boom!
With bursts of chakra smoke, 150 shadow clones appeared around him.
Seimei quickly organized them into groups.
It was clear that, after reorganizing, more clones were now assigned to train in the Spirit Transformation Technique (Reika no Jutsu), while fewer were focusing on developing his Wood Release kekkei genkai (Mokuton Kekkai Genkai) and improving the Heart Reflection Technique (Eishin no Jutsu).
This was a deliberate adjustment by Seimei.
However, it wasn't the final version.
He planned to fine-tune these groupings after each training round based on the results, so that every skill could be developed with maximum efficiency in a limited amount of time.
Once these thoughts passed through his mind, Seimei composed himself and waved his hand, sending all the clones off to their respective training tasks.
Meanwhile, he jumped down from a large boulder and used a few Body Flicker Techniques (Shunshin no Jutsu) to reach the beach.
Looking out at the shimmering sea, he didn’t hesitate—he walked straight into the water.
The seawater quickly reached his ankles, then his knees, waist, chest, and finally his neck.
Only when the water threatened to cover his nose and mouth did Seimei stop.
He took several deep breaths, saturating his blood with oxygen, and then resumed walking toward the deeper parts of the ocean.
Blub—
His head disappeared beneath the surface.
Seimei kept his eyes open and channeled chakra into his feet as he continued forward.
Soon, he reached the depth he had managed to dive to the day before—110 meters.
But this time, he didn’t stop.
He kept descending until he reached a depth of 130 meters before finally pausing.
Just as he had expected, even though he wasn’t deliberately strengthening his body’s ability to "breathe through the skin," the continuous full-body training naturally improved that ability as a side effect.
That’s how he managed to dive deeper this time.
Of course, the deeper he went, the more pressure he had to endure.
The harsh environment would in turn accelerate his body's adaptation and evolution, allowing him to adjust to even more extreme conditions.
The result: he could dive even deeper.
Clearly, this formed a positive feedback loop.
Because of this, Seimei could already predict that his training progress would significantly accelerate in the coming days.
Which was exactly what he had hoped for.
Clearing his mind, Seimei looked around, picked a random spot, sat down cross-legged, and began channeling the Mystic Palm Technique (Shōsen Jutsu) and Human Body Reinforcement (Hito no Go) to strengthen his body.
Time ticked by.
After an hour, Seimei resurfaced.
He used Fire Release chakra (Katon chakra) to dry his clothes, then began dispelling his shadow clones to absorb and digest their memories and training experiences from the past hour.
This process took about fifteen minutes.
After converting all that knowledge into actual skill proficiency, he reassigned the shadow clone groups based on their effectiveness.
Then began a new round of training.
As his clones dispersed again, Seimei activated the Lightning Release Chakra Mode (Raiton Chakura Mōdo) and resumed his own physical training.
That session also lasted an hour.
Once again, he stopped, dispelled the clones, and absorbed their training data—repeating the cycle.
After each hour, Seimei would adjust his clone teams based on progress, constantly optimizing toward ideal results.
His personal training also rotated on an hourly basis.
And just like that, the days flew by.
With no distractions from the outside world, Seimei devoted himself entirely to training. Time passed in the blink of an eye.
Before he knew it, five days had passed.
It was now December 1st, near noon.
At the beach.
After once again dispelling his Multi Shadow Clone Technique and absorbing the last hour’s worth of training memories, a sudden clarity emerged in Seimei’s mind.
He opened his eyes and stood still for a moment.
Then, raising his hands, he gathered chakra in both palms—Water Release (Suiton) in the left, Earth Release (Doton) in the right.
Carefully, he adjusted the chakra nature transformations, trying to make them blend together seamlessly.
Sweat began to bead on his forehead.
At a certain moment, sensing the perfect alignment, Seimei suddenly clapped his hands together.
Clap!
With that motion, the water and earth chakra fused.
A brand-new transformation was triggered.
Focusing intently, Seimei stabilized the chakra at the center of his palms, continuously converting and merging more Water and Earth chakra into the fusion.
At one critical point, something clicked.
Suddenly, a vibrant green vine sprouted from his palms. It twisted and writhed like a living tentacle, full of life and vitality.
“Mokuton... I did it!” he murmured in awe.
After five days of high-intensity training, he had finally taken that last, crucial step—successfully awakening the Wood Release bloodline limit (Mokuton Kekkai Genkai).
And unlike Yamato’s lifeless Mokuton, his Wood Release was vibrant and full of natural energy, just like Senju Hashirama’s.
Seimei manipulated the vine to grow, wrap, and swirl, making it move like an extension of his own arm—effortless and responsive.
He played with it gleefully for a while.
Then, a strange sensation stirred deep within his cells—like something inside had been unshackled. A wave of blissful relief washed over him.
This feeling lasted for several minutes.
When it faded, Seimei noticed that he could now control the vines more smoothly and with less chakra.
Not only that—his body felt closer to its next evolutionary stage.
If measured against his earlier estimates, this breakthrough had accelerated his timeline by a full month.
No doubt about it—this was an unexpected yet joyous surprise.
The reason was simple: successfully unlocking Mokuton had fully activated the genetic material he had acquired by assimilating Hashirama’s cells.
This had enhanced his physical potential yet again, shortening the time needed for further strengthening.
That profound change deep in his cells—that was what Seimei had just felt.
