*Chapter 14: Acquiring Raiden Kirin*

"Shishi Rendan!"
"No way!"
Just as Kakashi was about to teach Kazama a lesson, the swarm of Mokuton bunshin launched a taijutsu assault on him.
See, Kazama’s got this unlimited chakra physique, so he’s never known what it feels like to run low on chakra.
"Not bad, kid. You’re really something else. Too bad a taijutsu move like Shishi Rendan is child’s play to me."
As expected, the Shishi Rendan that took down Sasuke didn’t even scratch Kakashi.
"Kakashi-sensei, you’ve got some serious skills!"
Seeing his bunshin fall one after another, Kazama didn’t get mad—he just grinned.
Because Mokuton bunshin aren’t like regular clones. Normal bunshin vanish the moment they’re defeated. But when Mokuton bunshin go down, they turn into branches that wrap around the enemy, slowing them down.
"Damn it!"
Sure enough, it wasn’t long before the Mokuton bunshin Kakashi defeated transformed into branches, tying him up tight.
"Kakashi-sensei, I hope you’re ready to go all out, or those bells of yours are mine!"
"Fine, don’t blame me for what happens next!"
A crackle of lightning sparked in Kakashi’s right hand.
"Raikiri!"
The moment he unleashed that powerful Raikiri, the branches binding him were sliced to pieces.
"Don’t hate me for picking on someone younger, Kazama. Your strength is way beyond what I expected."
Kakashi started walking toward Kazama as he spoke.
"I’m not mad, Kakashi-sensei. Like I said, bring it on!"
"Alright!"
The second Kakashi finished speaking, he flashed right in front of Kazama.
"Is this kid seriously not going to dodge?"
Seeing Kazama stand his ground, Kakashi was stunned. He’d only used Raikiri to intimidate Kazama, not to actually kill him.
But now, before Kakashi could pull back his Raikiri, Kazama stepped forward to meet it.
"Oh no!"
It was too late for Kakashi to dodge.
The moment Raikiri touched Kazama, it was absorbed into his body.
"You can absorb ninjutsu?!"
Kakashi’s jaw dropped at Kazama’s display. He’d thought Kazama was done for, or at least crippled. But instead, Kazama had absorbed his signature ninjutsu, Raikiri.
This Kazama kid wasn’t human!
Ding! Successfully absorbed S-rank ninjutsu Raikiri. Congratulations, host, for acquiring ultra-S-rank ninjutsu Raiden Kirin! This technique harnesses the power of nature, transforming it into a divine beast Kirin to attack enemies—the ultimate expression of Raiden!
Ding! Absorb two more ninjutsu to unlock the third strange flame!
"Yes! Raiden Kirin and I’m close to getting the third strange flame. Taking down Danzo will be a cinch!"
Even after gaining the ultra-S-rank Raiden Kirin, Kazama didn’t stop. He still needed to push Kakashi to use his Sharingan. If he could absorb the Sharingan’s power, he’d unlock the next level—Mangekyo Sharingan—and the third strange flame.
"Kakashi-sensei, they say you’re the Copy Ninja. Let’s see if you can copy this technique!"
"Kid, your sensei’s copied over a thousand ninjutsu. Bring it on, I—"
Before Kakashi could finish bragging, a dark cloud rolled across the sky. He barely had time to process what was happening when Kazama’s voice rang out.
"Raiden Kirin!"
The Raiden power Kazama unleashed was dozens of times stronger than Kakashi’s Raikiri, and so fast it was nearly invisible. Even Kazama, the caster, could hardly track the Kirin’s attack path.
All he saw was a massive chunk of the surrounding forest reduced to nothing in an instant by his Raiden Kirin.
Kakashi, meanwhile, was yelling, "Holy crap!" as he scrambled to escape.
