Hattori watched as he scolded Naruto, and Boruto’s impression of him skyrocketed. Having long harbored frustration toward his "workaholic dad," Boruto was thrilled to see someone else calling him out. During dinner, Boruto went all out in serving Hattori, making Naruto jealous.
“This brat has never been this enthusiastic about me!”
Although Naruto felt a bit bitter, he was genuinely happy to see his son getting along so well with someone he deeply respected.
After dinner, Hattori left Naruto’s home. He hadn’t mentioned Otsutsuki clan, knowing well that since Fourth Great Ninja War, he had essentially taken over Naruto and Sasuke's roles as world’s savior—at least, that's how he saw it.
Returning to his place in Konoha, Hattori sat down in a meditative position and began refining his chakra. Since he aimed to upgrade his Rinnegan, with skill that granted him "+100 MP every minute" was no longer enough to meet his needs. Ever since the end of the Fourth Ninja War, he had developed a habit of train chakra daily.
This effort had paid off; his chakra-train skill had now reached the maximum level.
*[Max Level Meditation: Restores HP/MP +100 per minute. If HP is full, excess will convert to an equal amount of MP.]*
Despite its simple name, this skill had become one of his most effective tools for building chakra reserves. Thanks to it, it now took him only five days to fully charge his 100x Yin Seal, nearly doubling his Rinnegan-upgrade efficiency. His intuition told him that his half-evolved Rinnegan, which had stagnated for seventeen years, would soon undergo significant changes.
And indeed, he was right.
Half a year later, Hattori unlocked 100x Yin Seal, pouring the stored MP into upgrading his half-formed Rinnegan. The long-awaited message finally arrived:
*[Upgrading half-formed Rinnegan… 1,170,000 MP consumed. Total 999,999,999 MP consumed. Upgrade successful: Acquired Rinne Sharingan!]*
*[Rinnegan has reached max level. New skill unlocked: Otsutsuki Royal Power!]*
*[Otsutsuki Royal Power: An elite power from the Otsutsuki main family, enabling you to dominate branch family members and control their life or death.]*
Note: Those of branch family exist only to plant Divine Tree. They are unworthy of perfect chakra fruit. Any who dare oppose main family will face destruction!
Hattori: “(ω`)”
Reading the description, he couldn't help but feel it sounded a bit... villainous.
With the Rinnegan upgraded and the new skill, *Otsutsuki Royal Power*, unlocked, Hattori felt no particular change beyond the power he already held.
“Could this be the kind of power that makes you a one-man army?” he wondered, activating *Otsutsuki Royal Power* on impulse.
As soon as he did, his body transformed dramatically. His once-vibrant red hair turned snow-white in an instant, his tan skin faded to a ghostly pale, and two long horns sprouted from his forehead. His eyebrows vanished, and his large, dark eyes transformed into clear, faint violet.
“Byakugan?”
He immediately recognized his new eyes and, seeing his transformed appearance, became slightly bewildered.
“This… isn’t this exactly how Otsutsuki look?”
Despite his new appearance, he noticed no additional powers other than Rinnegan abilities he already had.
“So, this *Otsutsuki Royal Power* is just a fancy transformation? Is it supposed to make Kaguya warm up to me?”
Hattori felt as if years of hard work had gone to waste. Still, figuring he might as well use the transformation to his advantage, he decided to visit the moon and see if he could… get close to Kaguya.
His plan was simple: he’d pretend to be a wandering Otsutsuki noble and casually encounter her. After a bit of friendly conversation, he’d express his desire to protect her from the three Otsutsuki people who had pursued her, hoping his bravery might spark a closer connection.
To complete the plan, he needed a powerful-sounding name. After all, having a memorable name was crucial. Just like in dating, when two people are evenly matched, a cool name can make all the difference.
Hattori considered the Otsutsuki clan’s naming conventions: Otsutsuki Urashiki, Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and the big boss, Otsutsuki Isshiki. All followed the pattern *[Otsutsuki X-shiki]*.
Given Isshiki’s name, it seemed numeric names held high status. He figured he’d adopt a longer numeric name to impress Kaguya with his “strength.”
After some thought, Hattori grinned and slapped his knee.
“Got it! From now on, I’ll go by *Otsutsuki 36 stroke to 72 style no oogata shiki*—that screams power!”
Admiring his reflection in the mirror, he gave himself a big thumbs-up.
“Genius… a handsome genius! Haha!”
With his self-praise complete, Hattori wasted no time. Using a space-time jutsu, he transformed into a flash of golden light and disappeared.
...
Moments later, he reappeared on the moon. There, he spotted Kaguya, who sat peacefully under the Divine Tree as usual, seemingly lost in thought.
When she noticed the golden light signaling his arrival, her expression instantly changed. Her serene face was now etched with shock, disbelief, terror, and a hint of guilt.
It was hard to imagine that so many emotions could flash across a single face.
Hattori was momentarily stunned but quickly composed himself, giving her a gentle smile.
“Oh, lovely lady, I am…”
Before he could finish, Kaguya dropped to her knees, bowing deeply before him.
“Branch family sinner Kaguya greets you, my lord. I have already consumed the Divine Tree’s fruit. My crime is unforgivable, and I submit myself to your judgment!”
“Uh…”
Watching her tremble before him, Hattori scratched his head, eventually blurting out:
“Well… then I’ll punish you by… spending some time with me? Maybe… quite a bit of time, actually. I prefer things settled in one go.”
Kaguya: “Σ(°△°|||)”

*Chapter 287: Allegiance*
With a complex expression on her face, Kaguya Otsutsuki watched as Hattori finally achieved his goal, becoming "Divine Knight," or, more specifically, the father of the Sage of Six Paths.
Titles aside, what mattered was that Hattori was delighted.
Both physically and mentally, he felt an unprecedented sense of satisfaction, with a wide grin that hadn’t faded for a moment.
Seeing him so pleased, Kaguya, who had just finished dressing, sighed in relief and hurried over to carefully help Hattori put on his clothes and shoes, behaving like a devoted attendant.
Seeing her so obedient, Hattori couldn’t resist giving her a playful kiss on the cheek before wrapping his arm around her and stepping out of the room.
Unexpectedly, as Hattori and Kaguya emerged, they found three people waiting outside.
All three wore white robes and had white hair and eyes, marking them as members of the Otsutsuki clan.
Of these three, the one on the left was tall and muscular, wielding a massive red chakra axe, clearly a close-combat expert. The one on the right was lean, holding a red chakra fishing rod, seemingly skilled in stealth attacks. The last one was short and wore a veil, standing slightly ahead, indicating he was the leader of the three.
Hattori immediately checked his information:
*[Name: Momoshiki Otsutsuki (Base Form)]*
*[Level: 100]*
*[HP: 160,000/160,000]*
*[MP: 17,700/17,700]*
*[Specialties: Bloodline Limit, Chakra Fruit Creation, Time Control, Seal-free Healing]*
*[Combat Power Rating: SS+]*
After examining Momoshiki’s stats, Hattori narrowed his eyes.
"So, it's Momoshiki. This guy is no joke; even in a standard fight, I’d be hard-pressed. Perhaps I should use my ace card right away."
Just as Hattori was considering unleashing his Reaper Death Seal, Momoshiki seemed to sense his intent and knelt down on one knee before him.
"We, Branch House Guardians, greet you, Lord Otsutsuki!"
Following his lead, the other two knelt as well.
"Branch House Guardian Urashiki Otsutsuki greets you, my lord!"
"Branch House Guardian Kinshiki Otsutsuki greets you, my lord!"
Branch House? Guardians?
Hearing their introductions, Hattori frowned slightly but stayed silent, debating whether to use the Reaper Death Seal to end them immediately.
At this close range, and with their levels lower than his, Hattori was confident he could succeed.
Just as he was about to make his move, Momoshiki spoke up.
"Please forgive us, my lord! Divine Tree we planted in another realm will bear fruit in a century, and we are willing to offer one hundred fruits in penance for our sins!"
"Sins?" Hattori raised an eyebrow. "Then tell me, what crimes have you committed?"
"This... yes, sir!"
At Hattori’s question, Momoshiki shivered slightly, then responded in a fearful tone:
"We were ordered to plant Divine Tree for the Main House, but Kaguya concealed e fruit without reporting it. We failed to retrieve it promptly, thus sharing in her guilt. Kaguya committed a grave sin, yet we did not apprehend her or bring her to justice before the Main House. Instead, we troubled you, an esteemed figure from the Main House, to come here personally. This alone reflects our incompetence."
Main House?
Hearing this, Hattori seemed to understand something and allowed a slight smile to show.
"Quick to admit fault, aren’t you? But tell me, do you even know who I am? How do you know I’m from the Main House? What if I were an imposter?"
"Oh, my lord, you jest!"
Upon hearing this, Urashiki looked up and chuckled.
"Your presence carries Main House power, inherited from First King himself. No one could ever replicate that aura. In the face of your immense strength, I can’t help but tremble, haha!"
"Is that so? Though, you don’t seem that shaken!"
At this, Hattori gestured to them with a wave.
"Enough. I absolve Kaguya of her crimes and forgive you as well. Stand up."
"Yes, thank you, my lord!" They stood up, each expressing gratitude.
As they rose, Momoshiki looked at Hattori, then glanced at Kaguya, still standing by his side.
Hesitating, he asked, "Forgive my boldness, my lord, but does your favor toward Kaguya suggest an intention to establish a new Main House?"
"Hmm?" Hattori raised an eyebrow. "So what if I am? And what if I’m not? Do you object?"
"I wouldn’t dare!"
No sooner had Hattori spoken than Momoshiki dropped to his knees and raised his palm, revealing a Rinnegan within it.
"I, Momoshiki, swear upon my Rinnegan that I will remain forever loyal to Main House. If you choose to create a new Main House, we will follow you without question or betrayal!"
No sooner had Momoshiki spoken than Kinshiki and Urashiki also knelt.
"We will serve the Main House and never betray it!"
"We will serve the Main House and never betray it!"
Even Kaguya, who was standing beside Hattori, knelt at that moment.
"Kaguya pledges eternal loyalty to you, my lord, with no chance of betrayal!"
Looking at the four kneeling before him, Hattori felt a deep conviction that they spoke the truth.
Only now did he realize how powerful the *[Power of King of the Otsutsuki Roots]* really was.
To subdue enemies without a fight—isn’t that power incredible?
But thinking of the Otsutsuki Main House in another dimension, Hattori couldn’t help but ask Momoshiki and the others:
"Main House you’re loyal to... I’m not the only one, am I? What if another Main House challenges me?"
"Impossible!"
Kaguya immediately responded.
"My lord, your power is purest of Main House. In your presence, none would dare call themselves ‘Main House’!"
"Exactly. You are the true Main House!"
Urashiki added, smiling.
"As long as someone belongs to Otsutsuki clan, they wouldn’t dare challenge you, unless they wish to be turned into a Chakra fruit, haha!"
"Anyone who dares defy you will face annihilation!" Kinshiki chimed in.
The words of the three made Hattori realize his position.
"So, I’m the head of the Otsutsuki clan now? Every Otsutsuki has to follow me. Am I... invincible?"
With that thought, Hattori couldn’t help but grin. He pulled Kaguya up and gave her a playful slap.
"A moment like this calls for celebration! Kaguya, let’s go back in and set off some fireworks! Pose like an Italian cannon—I’ll be firing shots all night!"
Kaguya: "Σ(っ°Д°;)っ"
*The End*
