Got the conquest treasure chests!
"Heather, director, let me take a look at the monitor!"
Through the monitor's screen, as expected, the faces of the two female ghosts had become clear and beautiful, returning to their original appearances.
Among them, Sadako Yamamura was a delicate and cute young girl, while Kayako Kawamata was a gentle and virtuous wife.
"Roy, what's going on?"
Heather also noticed this situation and was very curious about it.
"Probably the resentment within the two female ghosts dissipated during the exercise just now. This is an opportunity!"
Roy thought of a possibility. Although this possibility was quite far-fetched, there were too many unbelievable things in this world.
Who would have thought that the dignified world's number one power, the beacon of humanity, couldn't even put out a wildfire?
So, Roy took out the Sinclair brothers' daggers, stabbed them into Sadako's and Kayako's bodies respectively, and then began to chant a spell.
This was a spell to enslave evil spirits recorded in the Key of Solomon. Because Roy's skill level wasn't great, it only had a certain chance of success when the evil spirits lost their resistance.
And now, both female ghosts had hearts in their eyes and were sticking out their tongues in an "ahegao" expression, clearly having no resistance at all.
Therefore, Roy's enslavement spell succeeded in one go, and the two female ghosts were sealed within the Sinclair brothers' daggers.
\[The Sinclair Brothers' Daggers have been upgraded to the Cursed Twin Daggers!\]
\[Cursed Twin Daggers: Originally ancient daggers passed down through the Sinclair family, now this pair of daggers houses two powerful evil spirits.
Passive effect: Attacks carry the power of a curse, capable of preventing the enemy's self-healing ability. After being thrown, they can also automatically return to the hand.
Active effect: Can summon the evil spirits residing in the daggers to serve you.\]
"Alright!"
The appearance of the Cursed Twin Daggers changed, becoming sinister and ominous from their original simple and elegant design.
The upgraded Cursed Twin Daggers were much more practical than the original Sinclair brothers' daggers. American Horror Story is full of those undying, self-healing monsters, and the Cursed Twin Daggers were the nemesis of such creatures.
Heather, who was filming, suddenly noticed that Sadako and Kayako were gone, and was startled.
"Roy, where did those two female ghosts go? Are they dead?"
"They've been sealed inside this pair of daggers, look!"
Roy held the Cursed Twin Daggers and summoned Sadako and Kayako from them.
As soon as the two female ghosts appeared, they eagerly knelt before Roy, flipping their hair back in preparation to perform... well, let's just say something suggestive.
Hmm, when holding the Cursed Twin Daggers, there was no need for a digital camera to see Sadako and Kayako anymore.
This taming could be said to be quite successful, but Roy stopped the two female ghosts from their act of service.
To be honest, after three hours of high-intensity fighting, Roy's 30 points of stamina were also a bit much to handle.
"That's amazing!"
Roy handed the dagger that sealed Sadako to Heather.
"Keep this dagger with you. Sadako can protect your safety for the next few days. Sadako, you're responsible for protecting Heather and making sure she doesn't get hurt, understand?"
Sadako nodded obediently, completely lacking her previous rebellious attitude.
Heather solemnly took the dagger and put it away carefully. This was Roy's gesture of affection, and she would cherish it.
"Roy, so is everything settled now?"
"Should be... almost forgot one more!"
Roy quickly put on his clothes, grabbed the digital camera, and opened the bedroom door. Sure enough, he saw little Toshio squatting blankly at the door.
This little ghost wasn't very aggressive, and his strength was very weak, so there wasn't much value in enslaving him.
But he couldn't just leave Toshio in this haunted house. Separating Kayako from her son seemed inhumane.
In the end, Roy decided to leave the decision to Kayako herself.
"Come out, Kayako. What are you going to do with your son?"
Kayako looked at her son with a face full of sorrow. She knew she was destined to be enslaved by Roy but didn't want Toshio to suffer the same fate.
Therefore, Kayako begged Roy to let Toshio pass on.
"Passing on" is a term used in Japan, meaning roughly the same as a ghost ascending to heaven.
Actually, it wasn't difficult to make Toshio pass on. This kid didn't have much resentment to begin with. It was entirely because Kayako was worried about her child and forcibly bound him that Toshio also became a ghost.
Now that Kayako was ready to let go of Toshio, things became much simpler. All Roy had to do was sever the connection between Kayako and Toshio.
Watching Toshio, who had returned to the appearance of a normal child, disappear into the air, Kayako could finally let go of her last worry and would obediently become Roy's servant from then on.
After everything was settled, Roy and Heather's stomachs suddenly growled at the same time.
Heather glanced at the time and exclaimed in surprise.
The latest novels are first published on \[website address, which I will omit as per instructions]!
"Oh dear, it's already twelve noon! No wonder I'm so hungry! Roy, I'll go make lunch right away!"
With that, Heather quickly went downstairs to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
Roy stayed in the bedroom to clean up the mess. The scene of the battle was too chaotic and needed tidying up. He also needed to open the windows to air out the room.
At this moment, the doorbell suddenly rang downstairs.
"Roy, go open the door, I'm in the kitchen and can't leave!"
"Coming!"
Roy replied and went to the entrance to open the door.
Opening the door, he found a strange blonde girl wearing a black sweater, a black leather hat, a thick gold chain around her neck, and a lollipop in her mouth.
Her overall look was like a rebellious teenager trying to look cool by pretending to be a bad girl.
The blonde girl's face was originally very angry, but after seeing Roy's face, her anger suddenly dissipated.
"Excuse me, can I help you?"
The blonde girl smiled sweetly at Roy with the lollipop in her mouth, and two red blushes appeared on her cheeks.
"Hey there, handsome. Do you live in this guesthouse alone?"
"My girlfriend is here too. Why?"
The smile on the blonde girl's face faltered slightly.
"I just wanted to remind you that you guys were making a lot of noise last night and this morning."
So that's what it was about.
Indeed, houses in America are mainly made of wood, with very poor soundproofing and fire resistance. If the houses are close together, neighbors can hear even slight movements.
Coincidentally, the Japanese guesthouse Roy was currently staying in was also made of wood and was relatively close to the blonde girl's guesthouse.
"Sorry, I'll be more careful in the future."
Roy was about to close the door, but the blonde girl suddenly stuck her foot in the gap.
"Hey, handsome, can I get your contact information?"
Taking a closer look at the blonde girl, she was a typical American girl, probably a few years younger than him, but her figure was already quite mature.
"Sure."
