Chapter Two: The Start of Revenge
🕑 Added 2025-05-10 09:04:25 +0000 UTC“What the hell kind of trick did you use to absorb my Katon?!”
Kato Taka’s jaw dropped, eyes wide as he watched his Katon jutsu get swallowed up by Kazama.
“I don’t owe you an explanation. In my eyes, you’re already a dead man!”
With the system in his hands, Kazama felt invincible—like the whole world was his to command! That’s the vibe he was giving off right now.
Hearing Kazama’s words, Kato Taka suddenly realized this wasn’t the same Kazama he’d known before. Something about him felt… different.
And then there was this terrifying pressure radiating from Kazama, a kind he’d never felt in his life.
“Katon! Karyū Endan!”
Kazama flashed through hand seals.
Three blazing fire dragons roared out of his mouth, splitting into left, center, and right, charging straight at the Root ninja.
“Holy crap!”
Seeing Kazama—supposedly a total washout—unleash such a monstrous Katon jutsu, Kato Taka was speechless. “Holy crap” was all he could muster; no other words came to mind.
“Help me, quick!”
Kato Taka screamed for his two teammates while scrambling to dodge.
But Kazama’s Karyū Endan was infused with the otherworldly Genkō En—a mystical flame that cranked the jutsu’s power to insane levels.
Before the other two Root ninja could even process what was happening, their buddy was reduced to ash.
“You little…!”
The two remaining Root ninja were floored. This “useless” Kazama had just pulled off a B-rank ninjutsu like Karyū Endan and one-shotted their teammate. Their hearts raced with shock.
Ding! “Congratulations, Host, on successfully using Karyū Endan for the first time! Reward: Infinite Chakra Constitution!”
“Next up, you two!”
Kazama had been worried about running low on chakra and not being able to spam Karyū Endan. But now, with infinite chakra? Oh, he was about to go wild with his ninjutsu.
Just then, three sharp whistles of wind cut through the air from a distance.
“Crap, that’s probably the Anbu! Time to bail!”
“You think you can escape?”
“Katon! Karyū Endan! Karyū Endan! Karyū Endan!”
Kazama didn’t hold back, unleashing three Karyū Endan in one go. His motto? One Karyū Endan solves any problem. If it doesn’t, just throw another.
With infinite chakra, he had no reason to stop.
Nine fire dragons, each blazing with the overwhelming power of Genkō En, tore through the air. In an instant, they incinerated the two Root ninja, who’d already fled hundreds of miles away, into nothing.
Even though those Root ninja were no pushovers, they didn’t stand a chance against Genkō En.
At that moment, three Anbu ninja arrived on the scene.
Like the Root, they wore masks, so Kazama couldn’t tell if they were friend or foe. Assuming they were more of Danzō’s lackeys, he let out a fierce shout. Genkō En flared up, engulfing his entire body, and he started weaving hand seals to attack the Anbu.
The three Anbu froze, their hearts skipping a beat. They’d never seen a jutsu this intense before!
“Whoa, whoa, little brother, hold up! We’re not enemies—we’re Anbu, here to help!” they shouted, waving their hands frantically.
Hearing this, Kazama paused his hand seals. He knew the Anbu worked for the Third Hokage, so they weren’t the bad guys.
“Sorry, we got here too late,” one of the Anbu said, looking around at the wreckage of the Sanada clan with regret.
“Hey, little brother, that Karyū Endan just now… was that you?”
One of the Anbu cautiously asked Kazama, his tone almost nervous.
He was pretty damn sure that monstrously powerful Karyū Endan came from Kazama, but he needed to hear it for himself. After all, Karyū Endan was a B-rank ninjutsu, something only Jōnin could master. And Kazama? He wasn’t even a Genin! How could he pull that off?
“Yup, that was me,” Kazama said casually.
“No way!”
The three Anbu exchanged glances, their minds blown. Is this kid even human? He’s a freaking prodigy! they thought.
“I need to see the Third Hokage, now!” Kazama demanded.
The Anbu were still reeling from how badass Kazama was when his request snapped them back to reality.
“No problem, we’ll take you to him right away!”
Truth be told, even if Kazama hadn’t asked, they were planning to bring him to the Third Hokage anyway. A kid this young, with power surpassing an average Jōnin? There’s no way they wouldn’t report a genius like that to the Hokage!
