Chapter 1: Greetings, Administrator
🕑 Added 2025-05-10 02:07:27 +0000 UTC1. Greetings, Administrator
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
---
*STAR WARS*
---
For over a millennium, the Galactic Republic has ruled the galaxy, bringing prosperity, abundance, and security to its countless worlds.
But in those thousands of years, the Republic never managed to build a centralized, efficient administrative system. Bureaucracy, oligarchy, and a loose political structure have turned the Republic into a glittering bubble—grand, dazzling, and colorful, but fragile beyond measure.
More a loose alliance of sovereign planets than a unified nation, the Republic hides countless flaws beneath its glamorous surface.
From the bustling, developed Core Worlds at the galaxy’s center, the galaxy stretches outward through the Inner Rim, Mid Rim, and Outer Rim. The closer you get to the galaxy’s edge, the poorer and more backward the planets become—but their numbers grow.
Among the Republic’s many tensions, the most dangerous undercurrent is the divide between the impoverished Outer Rim worlds and the wealthy Core and Inner Rim planets.
It’s a conflict between the exploiters and the exploited. Separatist movements are starting to rise.
But before these tensions can push the Republic to its breaking point, a massive ship arrives in the Modell sector at the galaxy’s edge, setting the stage for a galaxy destined to be swept into a storm…
And leaving an unknown variable in its wake—an X.

“You must make a choice… Ventus.”
“Stars are burning, people are suffering, and every day, millions of innocents die. Now, fate has placed an opportunity before you. Will you accept it, or turn away?” A low, mysterious voice echoes in his mind.
Ventus finds himself standing in an endless starry void, gazing down at countless twinkling stars below. “Am I… dreaming? Accept? Accept what?” He raises his hands, which feel both illusory and strikingly real.
Suddenly, a massive warship soars overhead! It’s so enormous that Ventus feels like an ant in its shadow. Countless cold, metallic turrets swivel, unleashing a terrifying beam of light!
Another fleet has appeared in the distance, and the two forces are locked in fierce combat! Laser blasts fill the void, tearing the serene starscape to shreds.
Starfighters swarm like gnats around the colossal warships, weaving and clashing. Explosions flare briefly before fading into the vacuum.
In the silent expanse of space, the carnage is breathtakingly brutal.
The warship above Ventus takes a direct hit from heavy cannons. Its hull rips open, flames spilling out. He can see crew members sucked into the void, flailing desperately in the freezing emptiness.
“This is…” Ventus’s gaze shifts to the opposing fleet. Triangular ships with towering bridges dominate the scene, surrounded by swarms of H-shaped fighters.
A memory clicks into place. “TIE fighters! Imperial Star Destroyers! This is… the Star Wars universe!”
The chaos around him shatters like glass, and Ventus finds himself back in the radiant starfield. But now, he can see wars igniting across every planet below—mushroom clouds from nuclear blasts rising one after another.
“You’ve made your choice, and fate will answer,” the mysterious voice intones.
“Hey! What am I supposed to choose? I haven’t chosen anything! Hey—” Before Ventus can finish, a force yanks him forward, spinning him wildly.
It feels awful, like being flushed down a toilet.
“Hey! Let me go back!”

*[Destination system reached. Name: Unknown. Coordinates: Unknown.]*
*[Initiating planetary scan. Planet diameter: 4,900 km. Orbits a gas giant. Rotation cycle: 18 standard hours. Orbital period: 402 standard days.]*
*[Atmospheric composition: A2-grade, breathable for humans. Primary terrain: Forests, mountains, tropical grasslands, plains. Surface water coverage: 8%. Surface shows signs of intense geological activity.]*
*[Conclusion: Planet is habitable for humans but too small to support large-scale societal development. Overall rating: B+.]*
*[Hyperspace core malfunction detected. Core unresponsive. Until connection is reestablished, mothership cannot perform hyperspace jumps. Terminating cruise mode. Initiating interstellar colonization protocol.]*
*[Per Interstellar Colonization Act, Chapter 7, Article 1: Upon determining colonization is viable, the AI must awaken the Administrator, who will assume full responsibility for colonization efforts.]*
*[Awakening Administrator. Hibernation revival protocol in progress…]*
*[Greetings, Administrator Ventus.]*
Hearing his name, Ventus groggily stirs from sleep, his head pounding like it’s about to explode.
A wave of nausea forces his eyes open. He’s in a pristine white room, lying in a narrow but comfortable glass pod. Soft, sourceless white light bathes the space, so diffuse that shadows are barely visible.
Unfamiliar instruments line the room, manipulated by automated robotic arms. A few potted plants in the corner lend a fresh, calming vibe.
Wherever this is, it’s definitely not the budget hotel he fell asleep in last night.
“What’s going on…” Ventus mutters, looking around in confusion.
*[You are the Administrator of this vessel, Mr. Ventus. During hibernation, you completed training in all relevant administrative knowledge. We have arrived at a habitable planet. Please decide whether to initiate colonization protocols.]* A smooth, synthesized female voice responds.
“Who are you? Where am I?”
*[I am the mothership’s core control computer. You are currently in the Administrator’s medical bay within the mothership’s living quarters. Once fully conscious, please proceed to the bridge. If you require nutrients, I can provide them upon request.]*
“Mothership? What mothership?”
*[This is a colossal mothership equipped with a hyperspace core, designed for interstellar colonization. The originating civilization’s data has been lost. This vessel now belongs to you. All residents and crew were selected under your authority to embark on this interstellar journey.]*
*[The mothership carries 600,000 hibernating residents and 50,000 hibernating crew members. In emergencies, crew can be awakened for immediate action. All residents and crew have been rigorously selected and trained in various specialties to support colonization efforts.]*
*[Additionally, the mothership houses a massive embryo bank containing 5 billion human embryos. Through biotechnology, these embryos can mature in just 5 years.]*
*[Now, the entire mothership and everyone aboard is at your service, Administrator.]*
Ventus’s mind is a jumbled mess. First, a bizarre dream where a voice demanded he make a choice. Now, he wakes up in charge of a supermassive mothership? A ship holding 650,000 people can’t exactly be small, right?
He struggles to his feet and stumbles to a mirror by the washbasin. The reflection shows a youthful, sunny-looking guy, though his face is pale.
It’s still his face, but it’s been meticulously cared for—smooth skin, neatly trimmed hair and eyebrows, giving him a fresh, polished look.
He’s wearing a white uniform with gold-trimmed lapels, made of a soft, lightweight material that feels almost weightless.
Did I… cross over? The thunderous realization hits him. His old life—parents, friends, everything—gone in an instant.
He’s alone in this unknown world. The shock nearly knocks him off his feet. He staggers to the washbasin, desperate for cold water to clear his head, but the water is frustratingly warm.
Unable to find a switch on the sleek, seamless basin, he snaps, slamming his hand against the strange material of the mirror, his palm stinging.
Looking into his bloodshot eyes in the reflection, he says, “Turn the water to cold—no, ice-cold! You can do that, right, computer?”
*[I am the mothership’s core control computer. You may call me Mainframe. Water temperature adjusted. Please proceed.]*
Icy water splashes over his face, snapping him into focus. He starts piecing things together.
The dream and this穿越 seem connected. That mysterious voice asked him to choose. Whether he chose or got roped into it, the voice said fate would reward his decision.
Is this mothership the reward?
But why was he chosen? He recalls the fleet battle from his dream—ships and fighters straight out of Star Wars.
Did I cross into the Star Wars universe? If so, in a galaxy where planets get blown up on a whim, this mothership—however big—doesn’t stand a chance! Even an EVE Online Titan wouldn’t survive here!
What’s going on? Ventus sits on the medical bay bed, lost in thought, until Mainframe interrupts.
*[Administrator, the mothership’s resources are critically low. If you are physically recovered, please proceed to the bridge to oversee operations. If you require medical attention, I can summon the onboard medical team.]*
“No need. Let’s head to the bridge,” Ventus sighs, standing up.
---
*[A quick note: There seems to be some misunderstanding about the “Fourth Calamity” concept. To clarify, the Fourth Calamity doesn’t refer to summoning immortal players. It comes from Stellaris*, where it’s the fourth disaster after the Unbidden, Contingency, and Scourge—an overpowered player cheating via the console.
If you’re expecting a story about summoning players, feel free to hit the X in the top right corner. No need to rant in the comments about how this isn’t the “immortal player” Fourth Calamity you expected.
Also, the protagonist will be out in the field causing trouble, not sitting in an office conquering the galaxy via phone calls. If that’s what you’re after, the X button’s right there—no need to waste each other’s time.]**
