I'd love to listen to interviews from Liz of her friends or people she admires. I was thinking of Christine Emba of the Post. Also, interviews with the "cancel" working on their way to redemption.

When you think of all of the intimate and private details Liz has shared over the years, I was amused at her drawing the line at her fanfic writing past. I'm guessing it's more CatholicFic than 50Shades. A writing usage analysis searching the net could probably find it, but fortunately, Liz, your safe because the one man with the chops to pull it off is Matt - at least till we get Matt level AI.

re: the YouTube channel: I thought it was great and would love to see a return! But if you ever find the grove again, I would recommend playing the YouTube Algo Game a bit more to get more reach. Like, it loves consistent uploads, so if you record a bunch in a week or something, it'd be better to leave them "in the tank" and queue them up for the next couple Mondays rather than publish them all back to back.

Matt’s strip mall parking lot story reminded me of the Canadian Supreme Court case Harrison v. Carswell in which future chief Justice Laskin made an essentially troll argument in dissent that picketing workers couldn’t be kicked out of a mall because the mall’s whole business was premised on non-exclusive use of the property, Matt should run a version of that arg if he’s ever in a similar situation

I agree with you that in a traditional capitalist firm a DEI council serves at the pleasure of management and makes bs busy work for employees. However, I think they can be more useful in unionized firms with partial state ownership. Maybe I've lot the plot and am misunderstanding Critical Theory but from my view, a DEI council appears to be the western alternative to the Chinese party committees in business. Why do I think they're needed? To help dismantle exploitative social relations inside a firm and move from state capitalism to socialism.
