I'm not a Christian but my guess is that jesus would be very careful about not holding people under military occupation for 50 years, and then he would be very careful about not organising segregation in the place he was occupying. In both cases, his careful approach would ensure he does not create the conditions for said hypothetical.

I don't think it even needs the Nazi connection. It's pretty apparent that Israel benefits from the persistence of antisemitism targeting the Jewish diaspora, both in terms of pushing people toward aliyah and maintaining political/financial support for Zionism more broadly. Netanyahu's cozy relationship with far-right western leaders like Orban makes sense from this frame, as do Israel's collaboration with the antisemitic junta militar in Argentina and probable false flag bombing of Iraqi Jews.

It is fascinating to me how famous sex criminals get sorted out in the public imagination. Why is it that men like Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson and Tupac Shakur are lionized despite their sex crimes, while men like R. Kelly, Harvey Weinstein, and Bill Cosby are vilified for them? If you ask me, it seems like Donald Trump has landed in the former category. I don’t know why, despite all of his heavily documented utterances on women (also…his own daughter 🤮), the E. Jean Carroll trial and the 26 women who’ve accused him of sexual assault, that we somehow don’t regard him as the despicable lecher he is. Everyone just kind of shrugs it off and I am completely mystified by this. It’s as if these things never happened and they are of no consequence.
