That's why you chose Mira's house as your next target. She's incredibly attractive, unquestionably perceptive, you have zero chance of stealing from her successfully, and she owns a pair of handcuffs. What are you waiting for?"
Part 1 of Lemony Lemons, a delicious feature animation by Kaegantonovich. The soundwork was put together by Volkor and Mira's voice comes from the talented Cottontail.
This project had a lot of specifications that needed to be met going in. One of those was, HOW do I complete all of these different positions without breaking a release flow? I would certainly rather release the entire movie at once, but that would mean weeks of work without a steady flow of content for everyone. It already takes weeks of work for each video we release.
The simple answer was to release each scene individually as I finished them, then release the final project as a whole. So for the next couple of weeks you'll see a clear progression through this project, as well as a final version where it's all put together.
There will be people who complain. You can't make everyone happy. But this was the clearest way for me to do a massive project and not go insane from lack of time for myself. And while these scenes are shorter, this is good practice for us to work on much longer projects as a whole down the road. It also allows me to work on finishing our first vr-animation-request in it's entirety.
I can't believe where we are today. It seems like yesterday we were releasing 1080p versions of other artists' SFM works in VR. Now we're releasing 8K versions of original characters as well as patreon requested characters that are whole minutes long in Blender.
Just mind blowing to say out loud.
Enjoy!
