Closing the Club
🕑 Added 2022-01-26 15:47:21 +0000 UTC"Helping V close the club isn't always an enjoyable experience, but it certainly is this time. The pay's not great, but the perks!"
Thanks to SaveAss for the animation, Audiodude for the sound, and Mizz Peachy for the voice!
I'm still working on perfecting the workflow pipeline to make 8K as viable as possible. 8K is really starting to shine, especially with this scene. I don't like some of the banding that shows up in the background, but otherwise the detail is intense. In the upcoming Scarlet scene you can even read the writing on the monitor! Not that you should be while getting head from Scarlet, but hey, you do you.
The 120fps videos are pretty smooth looking, but I just keep coming back to the 8K. That extra detail is just so immersive.
I'll have one more post this week on Friday. I'll talk to you then.
Enjoy!

Its probably your player or codec alot of vr vids ran bad for me until i started using SLR VR app, Just be sure to switch it to local files in the bottom right of the UI.

Thank you for this detailed answer. Maybe it could also be my gtx 1660 ti which is limiting it.
Looks great on a Reverb G2 with a RTX 3060 on Deo VR.

I'm using a Quest 2 to view it, myself, and it's the most affordable. Beyond that, I'm not sure. The valve index and pimax should be able to handle it for sure, but you're best off googling to find out. For a player I use Pigasus or Deo VR, but again you need to research a little bit which one works best for you, your computer, and your headset. There's so many variables for VR at the moment.

With which VR HS can you watch 6/8k? Got the Valve Index and somehow the standart steam VR player does not play it. Should I use another player? Or is it just for 8k Headsets in general?
