Water Bottle Test Render (video)
🕑 Added 2019-03-21 00:29:57 +0000 UTCI was testing out a few things in this video. Mainly the water simulation as it spills from the bottle. That simulation went through several revisions, but I think it's looking good now ^.^ I even created an animated wet map that makes the concrete it falls onto get darker and reflective, and it even expands over time as the water soaks in x3
I also wanted to test out a different method for handling the reflected lighting in the scene and hopefully reduce both the noise and render time. It actually worked out pretty well in both respects! I'm still getting a lot of noise in some areas, mainly the highly reflective surfaces, but I should be able to clean that up without sacrificing too much rendering speed.
Enjoy!
