Progress Report
🕑 Added 2019-09-11 10:05:34 +0000 UTCHey there guys and gals! Newman here with teasing aplenty and not much to show, really. Damn.
I wish I could show you guys some screens, but you know I can't, so there's one of the funniest bootlegs I've found as a second best thing. Now for the report itself:
We've been adding Gwen to combat, the script is done, scenes are slowly but surely getting done. But unfortunately, I'm not having as much time lately as I thought I would (as you know, NSFW games are only half my work day, I'm working on a comic and a fully-fledged 3D RPG game at the same time), you know, bills have to be paid and all that.
Instead of having Akanoes working for someone else's game (he's helping a couple of NSFW creators with their projects) while he waits for the art assets, we've thought he can actually start coding "The Mystery of Shagworthy's Legacy". That's right! That's the Scooby Doo game!! We have hundreds of game assets, as you know if you downloaded that pack way back then, so why not start now that I'm still making scenes and Akanoes has done all he can?
Of course, Ben X is still the priority. Whenever I finish a scene, Akanoes will return to Ben X and work on it, and as I get more time when the comic's finished, we'll focus on it entirely. But we were tired of not giving you guys something PLAYABLE, so this is a good way to do so.
I'm currently fixing some changes to the script that were done when Shagworthy was going to be a much more straightforward thing, and Akanoes is doing a character build, setting all the character dolls... but since we haven't really talked about the game much, I'll let you guys know more about the game in my next post. I hope I can get you guys excited about Shagworty as well. It's a different sort of NSFW game than Ben X is, they both have their own mechanics, but the humor is present in both, and Shaggy is a great main character.
But enough talk, work calls!
Newman.

Hey I hate to ask like this, but what is your release schedule again? I feel like I knew at some point.
Newman
Sure! Just as long as it's a mod, go ahead and translate it. We ask you only that you mention it isn't an official translation, but apart from that, you are welcome to do it. Thanks for liking our game this much!! :)
Isida
Hey guys. And hello, the developer of this game. I really liked the game, so I decided to do amateur localization of this game in Russian. Yes, I am from Russia and would like to ask if it is possible to localize your game? :)
Newman
And I do, but it gets kinda lost in a chat. Maybe I should do a gallery and limit the messaging...

If we aren't taking risks, who's going to, right? The least we can do is to try to do something weird and awesome who not every gamer will love, but those who do will be like "that bit there is something special" That's all I've ever wanted, really.

That sounds great! I'm not really a fan or trainer style games, but the art and humor are great. Really looking forward to something different from y'all.
