Yet another Progress Report
🕑 Added 2021-03-15 12:27:55 +0000 UTCFamous reclusive novelist turned evil Newman here with another Progress Report.
Ahhh... ET-PO... That is a good one, isn't it? Gotta love counterfeit stuff. Anyway, here's what I've been up to:
- Re-wrote dialog up to half of the 0.05 content with the new devtools (loving it) with their expression changes.
- Tested the living shit of our latest build. Lots of bugs, a couple of hiccups, a story loop... mostly minor stuff. Grueling, but satisfying to fix.
- Fixed something called "slut tops" (let your imagination run wild) and changed some clothing items' categories.
- Fixed some branching choices on the Health Exam. Working on a repeatable part of it now, mostly finished.
- Figured out the "dirty talk" menu
- Properly implemented the LUST/CORRUPTION system by setting values to old content.
- Added CreepCam leaflet, and some shop and item dialogs.
- Improved art on many, many layers on: Gwen sofa scene, Shar On her knees scene, Shar Health exam, Patrol (Proto-Truk) scene, and a couple of new ones I can't talk about cos of spoilers. Also added some new layers.
- Added new Shar fitness training scene.
- Improved ALL expressions for Gwen and Shar, as well as some other parts of their dolls (that's the way we call all the layers for each character and their organization). Yes, ALL of them.
- Added some small bits of dialog here and there to give more information to the player about what to do next.
- Solved some confusing branching story issues with the watch... and created a new writing system so these things don't happen again.
- Solved a story loop bug.
- Fixed an issue with Shar's body heat and her doll's layer order.
- Added some music and sfx to the script.
- Wrote some stuff for later chapters/episodes in the game (needed for me to properly write 0.05 content).
- Wrote some stuff for later chapters/episodes in the game (completely unnecessary for me to properly write 0.05 content, but those moments come when you least expect it and you can't waste them!).
- Had a couple of moments of sheer exhilaration at the realization that I'm finally free to just do Ben X... hard to believe it sometimes, considering my life during the past 2 years.
"What's left to do?" I hear you ask via my precognition abilities... still some stuff till we have a test build for Delux-O's. But not that much!
- Keep re-writing 0.05 dialog and adding expressions.
- Keep adding music and sfx tags.
- Make sure the LUST/CORRUPTION values are properly set (although for that, we'll also need your feedback)
- Find the damn ambient start menu music (still can't find one that's good enough!!)
- Add acceptance/rejection values to all clothing items, in all categories. Easy peasy.
- Add scene expression tags to a bit of the new Health Exam content.
- Write down when each mission gets completed/reaches end of content for this version (we added a thing so you know when you can't see more of each mission at any point).
- Test combat. New XLR8 values, 2 new bosses, general progress (just enough so it isn't unfair, we'll do the bulk of the tweaking together with testers)
- Make a couple of art fixes, and add a new expression for Shar in the At the door scene.
- Test, test, test.
Looks like there's a lot yet to be done? It really isn't. Testing always gives surprises, but right now, we are at the "lots of modules are buggy, but they all work, and we have the means to fix them cos we know where to look" phase. It is exciting, it is much, much less tedious than it used to be, thanks to our new tools, it is new content instead of constantly having to look back!!
I love it. I hope when you play it, so do you. Gotta get back to it. Talk soon, you awesome, awesome people, you!
Newman out!

The reason if because i forgot the name of the game. If anything u are safe and easy to find the moment someone tries the demo with the link to patreon
Newman
Really? Any idea where should I advertise so that's not a thing? XD

Oh, man. The world is full of bootleg. You just need to leave all logic behind, and jump into it XD

Yes, apparently now your work on fixing bugs is not as problematic as before, and it's just great. Good luck ..
