In Dushane's defense there was no getting the body out of there, so all he could do was try and destroy the physical evidence that he was there. That's why he just dumped the bleach on the body, to fuck up any DNA he left behind. Doesn't matter though cause they've got his call logs and man is on the doorbell camera at the time of the murder.
