I think it’s not just the pacing but also that they intentionally didnt explain some details like how Nighthawks’ ability works, what is Klein’s ability, and they just do fast flashing of some important plots like viewers should be able to imagine what happened. These kind of stuffs annoys me. The series is already a mystery that there are things viewers are not supposed to know atp and the adaption made it more confusing by skipping detail explanations that should be in the episode. But nonetheless I will continue watching because since the novel is praised highly I want to know the story.

I agree that the show is a little fast. Even if they just adapted like 5-10 fewer chapters an episode and give us a chance to breath it would be a lot easier to digest.

I agree. A lot of shows should just be taken at face value. I'd actually say the majority of anime/donghua is meant to be taken at face value, without overthinking about the information presented.

Ngl this shows pace has been good for me to follow. I think you will follow everything better if you just take what the show says at face value and don’t try to draw your own conclusions to stuff but ik that’s how they watch shows.

I'll be honest this is the first time i've ever wanted y'all to drop a show, cuz lets be real the art and animation is AMAZING but this story is written so chaotic to the point where shit barely makes any sense. I know Yaiba wasn't getting enough love from others but that was 1000% a better raction show than this.
