You can reduce the reverb by installing soft surfaced panels on your walls, or with hanging blankets

Always good to see you Shoshana. One idea: the sound you hear in your room is called "reverb", not echo.The acoustics arent great there bc of having hard surfaced walls around you. Echoes are a distinct repetition of sounds.
