I just think this should have come sooner. We have had such a long run of miscommunications at this point and it feels dragged out. Sorry to say- cuz the story is very good. I just feel it lost a bit of momentum from the days after they landed to here.

I just want to hold him and make him feel better 🥺😭. I like back story it brings another level of connection and helps us understand the reasons. It's so important, he was under a lot of pressure and trying to be what his parents expected. Or at the very least be the person they felt he was. It's a lot of expectations. The longer they spoke the more I felt the almost need to stop them talking. It was a lot But he didn't submit it and he didn't continue the relationship either. But being the person others expect is something his used to. 😔🥺

Ngl my high school showing up in this was a surprise but somehow seeing the backstory unfold in that setting makes a lot of sense… def got a bit of trauma being an alumni of that school 😂 can’t wait to see more of Andrew’s backstory develop!!

I love backstories and flashbacks, it helps you to connect more to the character!! Being able to understand them more on a personal level let's you enjoy their development over the rest of the story. Then you're even more excited when the characters reach their goals at the conclusion of the story!!
