[Blog] Plans for December
🕑 Added 2022-12-02 03:31:58 +0000 UTCWe have entered December and I must resume work soon! That said, I do want to try something slightly different this month. Though, do keep in mind I will need to take commissions again, so you should see those works uploaded too.
Focus on Projects
I want to spend this month setting up some progress to projects for next year. That means I expect long stretches of silence while I work, with less focus given to Sketch Collection uploads so that I can focus on those larger projects. I will update you with progress throughout the month whenever possible.
My immediate goal is to start work on a NSFW image set of Elayne Beaumont, which will likely appear in the Dropbox Archive until I make it publicly available for sale. I'll be resuming work on that last comic story too (updates available to $3 patrons).
In order to increase Beaumont's popularity, I should probably try to expand the idea and create multiple projects, perhaps even playing with different mediums (which will also present me with some variety so I can take a break from drawing if I don't feel like drawing). Stuff like comics, games, and prose stories. I've even considered doing a fun choose-your-own adventure comic, like Homestuck or Prequel, where patrons can interact with the story as something pretty casual.
Female Link Friday
Even though I expect to be busy for much of the week, I think it would be cool to provide you with content to reliably look forward to. So I'd like to try uploading 1-2 Female Link artworks every Friday (available to all patrons).
Don't expect everything to be of the same level as my recent Linktober project, but many of you did join because of those particular works, so this should please you.
Game Development
This is in relation to my recent Beaumont-vania engine.
My deadline for a public demo is October, but I'd like to get a demo into your hands before long. I'll need to add a few features, draw player sprites, and create a level kit so you can experience all of the major elements and test basic navigation & combat.
Here's the Trello Board I update as I make progress, but I will continue to update the Patreon every so often with new developments and ideas too.
Anyway, that's that. Don't forget to eat & sleep.
