The creek winds back and forth, its bed worn deep from years of floods and droughts, cutting broad, sweeping banks that are both treacherous and inviting. Lush grasses and wildflowers press close to the water, while sturdy blue oaks and gnarled trees arch overhead, casting shadows on the banks. The terrain is a tapestry of shifting greens and browns, where paths weave between thickets and rocky outcrops. With each bend of the creek, the landscape tells its own tale of resilience and hidden danger.

Environmental Hazards: Unstable creek banks where flooding has eroded the ground, creating hidden sinkholes and muddy traps. Thick underbrush along the edge conceals sharp thorns and obstructs movement. Overhanging tree limbs can break under weight or snap in a storm.
