A sucking chest wound is when a person's lung is hit. When they breath, there would be a sucking sound from the wound. You would need a one way valve type bandage (or a plastic sheet taped on 3 sides) so the wound can get drain and keep the lung from collapsing, and lactate ringer IV until medevac

Medics are pretty awesome, I always liked them.. I remember one time some cherry asked Doc Aguilar what a sucking chest wound was, and he said "well, when you get shot in the chest... it sucks". Which is true in multiple levels.
