Chapter 5 The Trap and the Cursed Sword
“Morons!” Toshiro screamed.
They had entered the cave and were attacked by the caves natural defenses. So they were faced with creatures strong enough to fight off demons and the demon generals. Our heroes didn’t know it, but when the time was right they’d send a hero in with a proper charm to get past the security.
Ichigo slashed through a golem. “If it was easy, it wouldn’t be any fun, right guys?” The first floor had two kinds of monsters, Golems and Mummies, the golems were immune to magic where as the mummies were immune to physical attacks.
Toshiro was surrounded by Golems but Ichigo was speeding towards him for the rescue. He was cutting them down, while Sado was punching them reducing them to powder.
The Golems liked to absorb people, smothering them and crushing their bodies. They fed on the person’s life force and soul to sustain their own.
Renji had charged in, he was thinking he could smash up the mummies, but they were immune to his blows. “What the heck?!”
The mummies reached out to him. Snack Bandage! Their wrap shot out and began to grab and coil around Renji. “Crap crap crap!”
He struggled and thrashed, his muscles flexing but his strength did nothing. “Idiot!” Uryu chastised, Sajin and him had to use their magic to save his ass. Mummies were constructs made from enchanted wraps, so brute force wasn’t gonna break them. “Magic must defeat magic!”
He fired magic arrows to destroy the mummies.
Sajin enchanted his fists. “There is no point complaining about it now, let’s clear this and get that treasure.” With some focus he manifested a phantom sword and cut Renji free from the mummy’s binds.
These monsters loved to wrap people up and corrupt them. People get wrapped up in a cocoon, the magic wrap sucking out their souls so that there’s nothing left but a new mummy.
The two forces made the perfect guards as they supported each other. Each destroyed Golem and Mummy was absorbed back into the cave and more were produced. “Enough of this!”
Hitsugaya glowed with a lot of mana. “Magic Doubles!” His skill in magics let him cast two spells at once. “Ice Wall – Snow Dragon’s Frost!” He created a large wall of ice blocking the golems, and the snow dragon’s frost was a cute name for a raging blizzard, it slowed the mummies down, some even freezing in place.
He slumped against Ichigo. “I got you, let’s move!”
They raced towards the door. The golems wailed on his ice wall, they may have been immune to magic attacks and crazy strong physically, but Hitsugaya’s wall of ice was quite thick so it could take a lot of hits.
Thanks to the map Tossen gave them the door opened. It glowed along with the door. “Yes!” The door closed behind them.
This was also part of the security, it’d take time and a lot of magic to open the door. Doing so while fending off a bunch of golems and mummies was nearly impossible. “That was awesome Toshiro!”
He blushed and stepped away from Ichigo. “Yes well, it seems you weren’t kidding about being tasked by the church to do this.” Toshiro dusted himself off.
Uryu adjusted his glasses. “Did you really think we were lying?”
Hitsugaya shrugged. “If you had been I’d have teleport myself out of here and left you to die.”
Renji glared at him. “Why you little!?”
Ichigo got in between them. “Enough, thanks for believing in us.” He patted the mage’s back and Toshiro blushed.
The next floor was a maze full of built in and magical traps. Thanks to Uryu’s genius, Toshiro’s studies, and Komamura’s wisdom they got through the maze and once again they made it to the door that opened to the map. “Yes!”
Their next floor was a bit tricky, it was both magic darkness and silence, they couldn’t see, speak, or hear. Once again the map the priest gave them saved them a barrier formed allowing them to traverse the void.
The final door had a message above it. “What you seek lies beyond follow the path as to not lose your way, let the inner light guide you.”
Ichigo smiled. “We are close!” They entered the final stretch getting to a fork in the road. “Let’s move!” The orangette wanted to go right but Uryu stopped him. “What?”
The archer pointed. “Look!” The map they were given was glowing and was pointing to the left. “You are about to go the wrong way!”
Sajin went up to Ichigo. “Why did you want to go right?”
The swordsman shrugged. “I dunno, it felt right?” Uryu face palmed. He waved the map, it glowed brighter when pointing to the left. “That’s so weird.”
“So what shall we do, fearless leader?” Toshiro asked.
Ichigo looked between the two paths. “I...I think we should go right…”
Uryu grabbed him. “Ichigo...the map has been guiding us all this time, it hasn’t led us astray so far, we should go left.”
“I know but…” It was weird and hard to explain. Both tunnels looked the same, there was no magic or sign of which way to go, except for the map. “But you’re right, this is probably some silly feeling I have, let’s follow the map!”
Sado stopped him. “Ichigo are you sure, I trust your instincts.”
He shook his head. “No, Uryu is right, Tossen gave us this map for a reason and it’s helped us get through this together.” The attack of the goblins proved he wasn’t always right, and this wasn’t about him it was about getting the holy treasure.
The party followed the map and was led to one last challenge. A test of strength, Sado, Renji, and Sajin together helped the final passage opened and there it was. Stuck in the ground was a white blade. “It’s beautiful!”
Uryu nudged Ichigo. “What do we do?”
He rolled his eyes. “Trust the map!”
Uryu folded his arms and nodded smugly. “Always trust the map, it was a gift from Tossen-sama!”
Toshiro eyed the blade. “It is enchanted, only a swordsman can pull it free.” Looks like it was up to their fearless leader.
Ichigo stepped up to the strange blade. He could feel a strange pressure coming from the blade, it was definitely powerful. ‘I can do this...I can pull the blade...I can use it to slay the demon king and save the world!’ He took a deep breath to focus his mind, body, and spirit. ‘Let’s do this!’
The swordsman grasped the blade a pulse of magic was felt. The seal was broken and a large sum of dark power was unleashed.
Toshiro’s eyes widened. “Who gave you this map?”
Uryu looked shaken as well. “This isn’t right!”
Komamura growled. “Ichigo let go of the blade!”
Sado and Renji looked confused. “What’s happening?!”
“You’ve been deceived, that’s not one of the holy weapons it’s a cursed weapon!” He grabbed Uryu. “Who gave it to you!?”
-x-
Tossen smirked. “Everything has come to pass!” He had enchanted the map to work like a holy totem, to aid the team just enough to guide them into a trap. As a high ranking priest he knew enough to make a convincing fake. One of the veteran heroes and a holy person of a higher level than he might have been able to see through it.
For every good there was an evil, every yin a yang. As such as the holy weapons of past heroes were brought to a safe place to be stored away, to balance out the magic frequency they locked up some of the dark and cursed weapons of past generals alongside them. To keep them out of evil hands and use the evil magic to help protect the holy weapons.
That’s why many high ranking people weren’t worried about the demon generals as they didn’t have their ancient/cursed treasures, any new object wouldn’t be as powerful as the holy treasures, so there was nothing to fear. ‘I have done as you asked my Demon King Lord Aizen, I have freed the cursed sword!’

The dark magic power washed over Ichigo, destroying his clothes and armor, even his enhanced blades were destroyed. It was like grabbing an electrical current, he couldn’t let go even as the sinister energy shot through him. ‘This is wrong...this isn’t...right…’
‘So it’s you...you are the one...my other half…’ A dark voice whispered in his mind. The blade began to melt and spread over Ichigo’s form.
His hand became a claw clad in white armor. Ichigo’s hair grew longer and more wild. “Damn it!” Uryu fired arrows at him, but they couldn’t penerate the heavy aura of darkness. The others couldn’t even get close.
Toshiro’s ice magic wasn’t doing much better.
White goo began to spread over Ichigo’s form, up his arm and across his back to coat his other arm. The whites of his eyes turned black and his eyes turned to yellow. ‘What are you doing to me...stop it!?’
‘Stop? Don’t say such things, we are one being, we’ve always been one!’
It spread lower and above his ass manifested a large dragon-like tail. ‘One? We have…?’ It was so hard to think. ‘I feel so hot!’ His sword stood erect. The goo covered his ass, rolling over his hips to his crotch. His body was being changed inside and out.
The swordsman’s muscles were being stimulated, he got taller and his six pack became an eight pack. ‘This is our true self, we were meant to be this, that’s why it feels so good, so right!’ His chest became thicker and beefy, his nipples becoming larger and inverted.
Ichigo panted and drooled. ‘Yes, so good, so right, we are one!’ He was having growing pains, but no pain just raw pleasure. A part of him knew he had to resist, resisting could force this vile blade away from him, but a newly awakened part of him couldn’t. It sank into the pleasure and allowed the goo to spread faster.
His impressive 8 incher began to pulse and grow by the second, thicker than longer, thicker than longer! The process continued but it wasn’t noticeable at a distance.
The goo encased his crotch, his pubes were burned away, red markings replacing them. His balls were pulled inside him and doubled, he had four nuts!
Ichigo’s now 16 incher was pulled back, being drawn into his newly crafted sheath. Goo spread lower, coating his legs and feet. Red markings began to appear on his body, his face, his crotch, and tail.
His canines sharpened becoming true fangs.
The sword was gone, and all the dark magic was drawn into Ichigo’s body. “Ichigo…?” Sado took a step forward.
Renji and Sajin joined him with Uryu and Toshiro pulling up the rear. “Buddy you okay?”
He exhaled and a white mist escaped him. “Hey guys...wow...why are you looking at me like that?” He stretched and his tail slapped the ground, making a crater.
Everyone shared a confused look. “Ichigo...you look like a demon…”
Ichigo began to laugh. It sent chills up and down their spines. “Guys I’ve always been like this, oh I know, we haven’t done any team bonding in awhile!” His full 16 incher slipped from his sheath. Ichigo licked his claws. “Let’s fix that!”
Jaws dropped.
To be continued...Escape from the Demon White!
