The bad news is rather than having the month of August off, now it looks like I'll be back to work on Monday, on ONE animation that may take a full month to complete...
...I'm seriously debating whether the money this client is paying is worth the frustration. Nearly every animation up to this point has felt like I was being punished for serious shortcomings on their end, and I have no reason to think this latest one will be any different. If I were to find out tomorrow that their offices burned down along with all of the backups of their game, my only regret would be that I wasn't the one who started the fire.
With only a few days before the pain starts up again, the question is how am I going to spend it. There are still some Daisy poses I could fully draw, or I could ink & color one or two of the sketches from April. Either way, the real challenge will be not thinking about the plans I had for next month that now need to be shoved aside...
