Two more down!
🕑 Added 2019-12-04 19:49:29 +0000 UTCToday I've crossed two more big items off of my to-do list - parent-spaces for the hands and feet, and a moveable pivot for each breast.
What the parent-spaces do, is they allow one object to be attached to another. Pretty standard for a character rig, but something that my script has been missing until today. Before, the hands & feet would move with the body control.
The moveable pivots for the breasts is something that hopefully will make them easier to animate. Without it, the breast's controls would need to be posed directly no matter how I wanted them to move. With this pivot control, I can rotate the breast from the middle of Daisy's torso, or any other point.
The next major script update I have planned, is additional stretch controls for the limbs. I might also add some offset controls for the new parent-spaces, if I don't do so today. After those, the scripting portion of Daisy's rig is essentially done, and I can start assembling everything.
In other words, she's getting closer and closer to being finished!
