In Case You Missed It
🕑 Added 2018-02-26 22:13:31 +0000 UTC I'm in a sort of holding pattern again, as I wait to hear of any forward movement on this contract. In the meantime, over the weekend I'd been working on Daisy's model, and sharing my progress on Discord. Mainly I was working on her clothes, but at one point I decided to tweak Daisy's breast size, at least temporarily. I've been drawing her bustier than ever lately, but I really noticed how much when I loaded up her model.The version on the left is accurate to model sheet, but that was drawn over a year or two ago. The middle might be closer to her 'Bustin Loose' size, while the one of the right is half-way between. No matter which one I go with, rigging them will not be easy, though the middle one would be the most difficult to animate - if she runs, she'd need to hold her girls up, otherwise she'd kick them with every step!
For now, though, I'm more concerned with getting her clothes modeled, and planning ahead for their own set of rigging challenges. Even fully clothed, Daisy's breasts will be a challenge, since in the default pose they intersect with her sleeves. If I plan on doing any cloth simulation - which I do for her sleeves, skirt, and apron - I'll need to work around that.

Though it might make animating in 3D much trickier, I think their size should vary based on situation... classic animation tricks and all.
