Just after I watched this.. today I rode (inside the lift ) up 79 storeys 314m in Bangkok to a (legal) outside rooftop observation deck. Closest I’ll ever get to “Living Shiey”. The lift was travelling at 418m/minute at it fastest and took <1 minute to get to top. All I could think about during the trip was “I wonder what it would be like on TOP this elevator car going that fast. Also…. I couldn’t help thinking that if Shiey & Co even came here on a mission…. It would be somewhat disappointing to “ninja” their way covertly to the top to fund a bunch of tourists already at the highest point of the roof, already outside of the building. King Power Mahanakhon… check it out if you’re ever in Bangkok, Thailand.

Oh, great! Finally! Would you please also upload the vids on vimeo that are blocked in YT or have an age restriction in Europe? That would be great. If YT allows it, maybe you should link the Vimeo page in your YT channel, it's otherwise very hard to find if you don't look it up on Reddit. Thank you very much for the exciting, great video. Stay safe!

BigPineapple

That was intense and awesome. Stay safe, dude!

So glad to be able to watch the video 😊 great views of london.

ZigZagKangaroo

I'm glad you're freeing yourself of Youtube's evergrowing list of restrictions. Can't wait for your next adventure!

Steffi - Lila_goes_deathcore

How can we watch it???

Johnny Nelson

I love your videos. There has been some controversy over elevator lifts in London where the reality is younger kids see these are try it themselves and it could be dangerous. The subject was covered by TheSecret Vault and mrmattandmrchay elevator channel https://youtu.be/G49HsVD0gcw Probably you didn't expect this problem and fell into it after all you were saying you just got to London when it happened.

Matt

Shiey, have you considered also posting videos on Odysee? You can set it up to sync to your YouTube channel so that all new uploads are uploaded there as well. Just a thought.

Andrew Robson

Always good to see you, Shiey. And you too, Matt! Great to hear that western perspective 100.

Please find another video service instead of youtube

Dimitris Kesanlis

bro, we didn't get the chance to watch the video. please post it here

Steffi - Lila_goes_deathcore

Oh noooo…I was going to watch it as soon as I got home. Was sooo looking forward to it and now it's been deleted …

Zec Black

You need to post the vid directly to your Patreon account so YouTube can’t take it down.

Zec Black

Fuck YouTube. That video was awesome and I tried to show a coworker today and it’s gone 😢

Michael

I was almost heartbroken after waiting all day to arrive home and watch this adventure. I joined dischord and found my own Illegal Freedom for today and watched this awesome exploration. I think the look on my face probably definitely matched the look on Matt's face during the opening thrill ride. I will be looking forward to watching again on the official Shiey channel when this excellent adventure is back up.

jake

my personal network at the moment is quite limited, otherwise I would just go by that

jake

such a cool idea. I sent ya a message if you have the chance to look. Also, if you are able to say, what do you use to find such experienced people? I need to find a platform or something to find other experienced adventure seekers. so far I've been more or less on my own. But the benefit of people with different expertise increases the variety of potential adventures tremendously. cheers!
