Patreon Updates :: Time to Catch Up on Life and Such...
🕑 Added 2022-06-23 02:23:12 +0000 UTCI have fallen behind on Patreon, commissions, any art in general and life. My day job had been rough and I fell back into a stress-induced, depressive state. It lasted longer than I ever wanted and it obliterated all the motivation to do anything creative. Naps were my top priority, at times, even as often as crashing right after work, sleeping through the night and starting the same routine over the next morning.
Work still isn't the best and retail never is, to be honest, but things have finally started to calm down.
But, Stina, work can't be the only reason why you've been MIA!
True, because why would a job as simple as stocking and receiving, day to day, cause so much stress and frustration? Why have I been letting myself get to that point?
Why is EVERYTHING triggering stress, depression and anxiety?!
So, I sought treatment, had blood work done and have been on that dreaded, daily regiment called medication. Anti-depressants? Nope. Pills for anxiety? Nope.
Synthroid. Yep.
My body isn't producing enough thyroid hormones on its own, so Synthroid helps regulate them. This synthetic treatment is mostly used on patients with hypothyroidism and/or Hashimoto's disease, of which I have, thanks to family health history.
Fantastic, isn't it?
So what does all this mean? Well, I needed to throw in some context before getting into the Patreon updates.
I'm not shutting my Patreon down, but I will be pausing the monthly billing cycle until you guys get a crap ton of Titania art and I finish my commissions list. I need to catch up...again.
Hopefully, things will be back up and running normally soon. New posts will still follow the Patreon Schedule and Discord updates will be scheduled as needed.
Now, to get to work on commissions and figure out how this new Patreon setup works.

I hope things get better for you, Stina. And work itself can be an entirely legitimate reason for feeling creatively drained. The fact of your diagnosis on top of that though…that’s extremely rough and I just hope you’re able to move past and heal for your own health.
