Comment Future Maps!
🕑 Added 2024-03-17 01:45:35 +0000 UTCI'm looking to hear what kind of maps people want to see in the future! Feel free to comment any ideas you have and I may pick some to make for future uploads :) If I see a lot of people liking any particular posts, I'll give those suggestions more attention.
*Disclaimer: I don't have too many sci fi or modern themed assets. Generally any previously produced maps are a good reference for what's possible

no se si esto siga estando activo pero que tal una fortaleza en medio de un lago?

If that's still the right post: A large forest map, a few huts, a hunting perch etc. Mainly trees. Should be easy to do but wield huge potential. Seasons, forest fire, biomes.. And instead of multiple floors, it could be done in 3 sizes or seeds or whatever.

Feywild swamps and smaller outposts, villages, or military posts
Patrick Lapinski
Vampire themed maps or gothic/dark fantasy maps

- An Archfey palace would be pretty cool. You could do different seasons depending on the palace wing and have a large ballroom. - An underground mining/minecart for gnomes or dwarves living in an enchanted forest (like in Gummi Bears) - An alien outpost for intergalactic trade and travel between planets of a star system. Kinda like the ship from Walle or the Tethoscape from Miles from Tomorrowland - An intergalactic highway. - A Lightyear Rail, a luxury train that travels through space at the speed of light. - A space port on the Outer Rim. - An alien collector's zoo - A communication station/tower on a stormy planet I have a ton of ideas!

I'd love to see a massive castle complex--one with multiple wings, different areas with different purposes, etc. I LOVED the University map, and I'd love to see you do more things that were entire little ecosystems in and of themselves.
Dedi
An underground drow city
Diogo Fidelis Tobias
Ships are cool, seaside cities too
Mel
Seaside town/cities, tropical islands and ships.
Mystic Havin
I also would like big cities with interiors!
Legendmaker
Also, would be cool to have a map that plays with impossible geometry, like Escher's Relativity style
Legendmaker
Would be nice to see your take on some Planescape and Spelljammer-themed interior maps and old-school deep crawling dungeons (like Tomb of Horrors style)
Marcus
Castle heist map with a vault?
Dan
A city section with canals, maybe navigable with small crafts like Venice, could be really interesting
Paul Sturr
I really like your cities! There are very few map makers that make cities with interiors and exteriors. You could possibly do different race themed cities such as elven or dwarven or naga, etc.
Josh Jasper
How about a battlefield with complex terrain and hazards like bogs or thorn brambles?
Evan Fruehauf
A really nice and detailed multi-layer tavern!
Bert Verwaest
Underdark would be fun to try! I have yet to go to any extraplanar locations in my personal campaign, so I'll have to do some research into it :)

Seconding a suggestion for fantastical/extraplanar locations! The hells, the Feywild, the Underdark, etc… Would love to see your take on them :)
Da Chimbly
My two main desires are more dungeon-style maps and more fantastical locations like hell, the underdark, etc.
