🕑 Added 2024-03-09 14:30:20 +0000 UTCThis next map details a camp built in the safety of a grotto.
As you venture deeper into the cavern's shadowy embrace, the faint murmur of cascading water grows louder, echoing off the damp walls. High above, a narrow fissure in the rocky ceiling allows slivers of sunlight to pierce through, casting ethereal beams that dance upon the rugged terrain below.
The cavern's heart is dominated by a roaring waterfall, its crystalline cascade descending from unseen heights to converge with a swift river that carves its path through the chamber. The air is alive with the invigorating mist, a tangible presence that moistens your skin and fills your lungs with the scent of fresh water and damp earth.
Amidst this natural wonder, evidence of barbarian habitation abounds. Animal skin tents, weathered and sturdy, dot the cavern floor, arranged in a crude yet functional layout. Skull effigies leer from crude totems, their empty sockets seeming to watch your every move with silent menace.
The flickering light of campfires dances amidst the shadows, their warm glow offering a stark contrast to the cool embrace of the cavern's depths. Barrels, crates, and sacks lie scattered about, their contents hinting at a nomadic lifestyle filled with plunder and survival.
At the cavern's farthest reaches, nestled within the protective embrace of the stone, lies a shrine of primal reverence. Dedicated to a dragon of old, its crude altar is adorned with flickering candles that cast eerie shadows upon jugs brimming with blood-red liquid and potent alcohol. The air tingles with the scent of incense and the metallic tang of sacrificial offerings, a palpable aura of reverence and fear permeating the sacred space.
