So not to nitpick but in an earlier chapter you had Winky join Sirius and he asked her to remove the portrait of Walburga.

My only suggestion at the moment would be that, when taking Snape off the board, only use a potion trap as a distraction from whatever real trap our group uses. Oddly, if it did work were they too subtle or was Snape taking the opportunity to let the Death Eaters fall without doing anything to prevent it?
