NEW VIDEO: The NPC Game
🕑 Added 2018-10-27 11:58:17 +0000 UTCI decided it’d be worth it to spend a full week over-analysing a dying meme so that strangers on the internet could make fun of my hairline. To this end, I roped my good pal Curio into it, and here we are.
That's right, folks - after taking a couple of weeks out to create something a little more thoughtful and out there, I make my grand return into the world of dumb political hot takes. This time around we're talking about 'NPCs', and the ins and outs of the framework which informs its explosive growth in far-right communities. What makes this little grey man such an opiate for these groups? Well, maybe we can figure that out. Maybe.
Big thanks to Curio for helping me out with this one - please go check his channel out if you haven't yet.
This one's going to get a little hairy as it spreads into the kind of communities that can't tell the difference between outrage and analysis, so come for the video, stay for the reply fights (I've disabled likes and dislikes to encourage people to use their words here).
Video is Unlisted, will go Public in a few hours - but feel free to share it around right after viewing.
Have a great weekend everybody!
