Game Build: v0.6.13.0
🕑 Added 2023-11-08 19:35:03 +0000 UTCAdditions
- The existing dialogue system has been augmented with the Ink dialogue parser. This will ease workflow by making dialogue creation and editing easier, as well as making it easier for users to edit and mod the game.
- Implementing Ink has made a few QoL features possible. As an example of what is possible with the new engine, a ‘skip to next dialogue choice’ button was implemented easily.
Bugs
- Old dialogue files were migrated to the new system using regular expressions. This process may have introduced some unintentional bugs into the dialogue, but these are temporary and will be fixed promptly.
- A specific example of this is certain dialogue text will be shown in dialogue windows when it should not, due to a change in the way Ink handles dialogue choices
