Towergirls Charts: Gen 3, Lamia Princess of Ashen Plateau Kingdom
🕑 Added 2018-12-29 01:34:02 +0000 UTCThe Kingdom of Ashen Plateau did not always have the name it does. Once buried beneath the ashen dust, the Lamias no longer remember exactly how it came to pass that their kingdom sunk beneath the dust, only that it happened shortly after the founding of their kingdom. Betrayal, hubris, greed- a thousand myths exist to explain what put Ashen Pit beneath the grains of ash and dust. Each is as likely, or unlikely, as the last. What is known is how they rose. Ancient manuscripts found the creatures of the unders growing day by day, year by year, devouring each source of light. The Ashen Pit Kingdom worked a great magic, reshaping the caverns around itself, dissolving them into the sand, ash, and dust that had compressed to form them, and shifting them under the kingdom, forcing it to the surface in a last, desperate bid to survive. The magic turned what was a desert of sinkholes and valleys into a great raised plateau, with a glittering gemstone of a kingdom sitting atop it's rise. Now the Lamia carefully gate who is allowed up the magically preserved walls of their mesa home, a new name granted to it for a new age.
