April 2025 - Lighting the Cans

This month, I keep throttling up towards the completion of the F-4's guide. I am planning on completing the following sections:
Powerplant & Fuel Systems
Flight, Aircraft Limits & Emergency Procedures
Defensive Systems: RWR (Radar Warning Receiver) & Countermeasures
I really enjoy writing these kinds of sections since they require a bit more studying and understanding when it comes the aircraft itself and the engineering behind it. As I read more and more about the Phantom, I can't shake off this sense of amazement when I consider how big of a step the Phantom really was compared to the previous generation of jets from the early 1950's. Anyway, enough blabbering... let's get back to work.
