Absolutely gorgeous backgrounds!

Edward Steele

Still got the tags on the backpack, lovely

Viva

Yeah but always just a case of better safe than sorry. At least it isn't a mopar car, those guys get crazy.

Morning

idk why I assumed they were going to a beach... lol

Ty

These two need to kiss and confess xD They're so cute together.

Hakuza

Hello Ale! Love you already!~

Syd

Yeah, changing details on my favorite muscle car was not easy, I wanted to keep it 1:1 but, oh well. Regarding the model and trademark, it's sort of a gray area. I understand we are making money off the comic, but not the car itself. It's just an asset in the world they live in. There's also something to take into account, the car is over 50 years old and it's not like we are building a replica and driving it irl. It's a drawing of the car. GM isn't losing any money from this. (I understand the logics of brand image btw)

Rick

Maybe in the next episode he will tell him

Wyatt_Kasper

oh my god... didn't Sky tell Red that he was "going with leon and his friend" on a hike? did he forget to mention that it was only really leon all along? I smell drama.

Wyatt_Kasper

didn't even notice... you are fine :)

Wyatt_Kasper

Leon has a sweet ass ride!!! omg! Also the backgrounds are stunning! Good job Ale! You guys are really stepping this comic into high gear! I love where it is going. Keep up the amazing work! and Sky... you had one job! come on!

Viva

That is a good point, you are actually making revenue off this and the Camaro is a pretty regarded model, especially that model year alone. I just go into deep dives when i see cars in comics/passing by to try and figure out specifically what they are. I'm usually really good at it, This one just had me feeling crazy because i thought i was maybe misremembering details. Like the rear side window alone had me going 'chevy monza??' This is great stuff, thanks you guys. Making me only more and more engaged.

Syd

We have to make small changes (like the curves on the sides) to keep GM from claiming trademark infringement. That shit is crazy. We even had to make the panels of them putting their seatbelts on to comply with their rules lol.

Viva

no i agree. and i thought it was a camaro. the rear tailights, hood, the stripe livery and bumper was telling me it was a camaro but the side profile curvier cabin/rear window and flat front end were driving me nuts. They were just different enough i couldnt pin point it and had me second guessing. But the tailights alone were making me scream camaro.

Syd

1969 Chevrolet Camaro. One of the best muscle cars ever built. Anyone says otherwise, fight me.

Viva

its going to bug me what the car is drawn after. because i cant quiet point my finger on it.

Syd

"I'm a great at making conversation" fuck you google docs spell checker. AAAAHHHH

Karu

The chapter is insanely good !! The moments between Sky and Leon are so cuuute !! I'm falling for it !

NEW BACKGROUND ARTIST!

Baku

Wooo!

PKP

Haha, sorry! Guess I’ve just got an eye for detail, or maybe I got lucky, either way, I don’t think it’s super jarring or noticeable anyway, I’m sure it’s the right choice leaving it as is.

Syd

I did notice that during QC, but since we were running out of time to send it to webtoons for review, we decided to leave it there. I'm gonna be honest, I never thought someone would see it so quickly lmao

PKP

Love this. Wonderful work as always. Hate to bring it up but sky’s shirt changes color on page 4 in 2 panels before changing back, goes from blue to tan and back, just thought I’d bring it up in case you would want to know. So happy being able to support such wonderful creations, keep up the amazing work!

James Dibble

👏🏻 let’s go

Syd

All I can say is... They have nowhere to run this time
