[Closed] Collecting Short Story Prompts for December 2024

I'll take the more popular ones as decided by the number of hearts (or that I particularly like) in the comments and make a poll at the start of the month. The winner will be made into a short story of a thousand or so words.
Not many rules on what you can suggest at the moment. That will mostly be figured out as we go. Besides that, the short story will come out before the end of the next month.
Rules for prompts:
No NSFW (Patreon would get testy about that)
No prompts about anything directly related to my current stories (can't be something the MCs would come across)
Not doing depression or similar
You may post previously posted prompts as long as you credit the original person to suggest it if it wasn't you
A part 2 for any short story is going to be rare to non-existent

This is a good prompt. I am not going to write this prompt at the moment as I do not feel in a place to write it (I don't know why, I just read the prompt and something in me says no) and so it won't be on the poll and I want to you to understand this is a failing on my part and not a matter of the prompt or you.

The System, created by a now extinct civilization, arrives on earth. Well, not earth exactly, but the solar system as a whole. The only problem is the arrival message [Apocalypse System Loading. Welcome . In 49 hours and 20 minutes, monsters will appear. No memory of technology detect, no restrictions applied. Good Luck]. Then right on the dot, a dragon is filmed suffocating by a rover. And on Earth? Nothing. I did not want to reposte it, but i find it more interesting!

A god summon a teenager to be the hero to kill the demon lord but when he ask "Why do you choose a kid with no training, and not a army?". All the god respond is "fuck! do you know a army that could kill a demon?"... "the US army?"

I will put my prompt from last month up here again. Really would love to see that and maybe there is more interest now: Immortal No-One: I swore my life to a god, bargained my soul to a devil, traded my name to a fae and sold my memories to an Eldritch. I should be dead but now nothing remains for death to collect and I just am, without a name, soul life or even memories. I do not know who or what I am, but I am and for some reason I can not not be.
